It’s not quiet, it’s loud. The IT team at my company bought this for everyone new. And people can hear me typing across the room, they’d make comments like “you type fast” lol I honestly don’t like how loud it is. The keyboard I have at home is creamy quiet silky smooth but I’m not bringing it to work.

Not Truly non-rubb off keys.
Bought this keyboard for the claimed non-rubbing keys. Nonetheless not even a month using it the keys started losing visibility. The white ink comes right off with heavy use. Next time will spend more money on a keyboard that truly is non-rubbing.

Worst Logitech keyboard ever.
First one I bought was missing the mouse and the dongle. Ordered a replacement and it is malfunctioning. Keys randomly get held down even though I'm not touching the keyboard. I have to run my hand across all the keys to stop it. Never had a worse keyboard in my life. NO WAY it's an authentic Logitech keyboard. Never had this problem with a Logitech keyboard. Highly dissatisfied. Want my money back or a working keyboard. I only work from home once every few weeks and I thought it was anomaly the last time I was using this keyboard, but it has continued to malfunction and makes writing emails all but impossible.

Great keyboard
The Logitech MK540 combo is excellent for everyday use. The keyboard is full-sized and comfortable to type on, with quiet, responsive keys. The mouse is simple but works well, and both have impressive battery life. Setup is easy with wireless receiver and the build feels solid. Perfect for a home or office productivity.

Overall functionality
Quality isn’t great for the price. The mouse functionality is poor, not only is it loud when clicking, but the bottom battery cover had to be taped shut to prevent it from coming loose and making noise while moving the mouse.
The keyboard functionality is acceptable; however, at times it does not register key presses as intended. I’ve had to turn the keyboard off and back on several times just to re-establish the connection. If I hadn’t had full confidence in the performance of the product as I’ve had a Logitech K520 for several years without issue and didn’t toss the packaging, it would be retuned immediately for a refund with no replacement.

Works well, but color is not actually black.
UPDATE: I ended up sending this set back due to the mouse. It was just too noisy and the wheel on it had a scratchy feel to it. It was not smooth at all.
I’m happy so far with the comfort and how well it works. HOWEVER, it is NOT black. It looks more like a dark gray, as you can see from my photo. My previous keyboard is clearly black. I was disappointed in the color, as it no longer matches the all black situation I have going on. I’m keeping it though.

Creamy keyboard, clicky mouse
I love the sound of the keyboard but the mouse click is loud. The keyboard has sort of a creamy deep sound, the mouse click is one of the loudest I’ve ever used. Both function great, I’m all about the sounds and feel.

Received Pre-Used, Malfunctioning Keyboard & Mouse
I've been using Logitech products for more than a decade, so I was excited to upgrade one of my workspaces with the Logitech MK540 but what arrived looked unmistakably used, and wasn't working.
Not the best value.
Visible wear on the mouse’s friction pads and scuff marks on several keys.
Confetti, grease, and even a dead cockroach jammed between the keys when I removed them for inspection.
The unifying receiver was poorly fitted or machined, failing to connect until I disassembled and modified it to fit better.
I ended up taking the receiver apart, squeezing the USB shell tighter with pliers, adding rubber padding, and giving the keyboard a full teardown-and-clean to get both devices working. It's functioning now but I shouldn’t have had to literally perform surgery on a brand new product. ☹️

Faulty Mouse
The rubber on the side of the mouse started to peel off before a month had even passed. It's super frustrating as I notice it every time I touch it and it just drives me nuts. I had my last wireless keyboard/mouse for 5+ years before this and never had an issue. I'm not even using it in any kind of rough setting, just regular boring office work. Value for money just isn't there. The keyboard is fine, so far... wireless connectivity works just fine.

It's a great keyboard if you're Desk-less.
I have an unusual workspace, no desk! I'm either sitting on the floor or on a couch. As such, I need a keyboard I can put to the side. You can't do that with most keyboards these days! They don't rest on their edge because they are all rounded. Terribly annoying! This keyboard can sit on it's edge. It's square. Square is good for me.
Outside of it's great form, it's got a good palm rest area, sits well in my lap, and the keys feel nice. I wish there was a bit more space on the Left, as I have to slide it over quite a bit to sit in my lap properly and touch type. Again, NO DESK. The volume keys work fine, and those are the only keys I ever use.
Also, being Logitech, the battery life is phenomenal. All Logitech products tend to have good battery life, so that's to be expected. It's a good, no frills, dependable keyboard.

Mouse peels off on the sides within days of using
I hardly ever leave a bad review for my purchases. This item was a horrible product despite its relevantly high price, it didn't last more than a few weeks. Both shift keys stopped working within days and the mouse got peeled off on the side. The costumer service did everything they can to avoid refunding me including asking for a handwritten ticket number that I was not able to provide, after they received the invoice and receipt for my purchase !!!!!!! What the hell a handwritten ticket number has to do with the product issue?!!

Good keyboard and mouse but...
After a couple of months, the paint started wearing off some of the keys and now, after about 4 months of use, some of the keys have about half the paint rubbed off, some of them are just beginning to show wear. No issues with the mouse.

Waste of money.
UPD: After changing the battery that first time (4 months after purchase), I had to change it every 7-10 days if I remembered to turn it off when going to work and sleeping (for around 16 hours a day); if I left it on, I had to do it every 3-4 days. INCREDIBLE!
Finally, the mouse stopped working just 10 months after purchase. Good riddance! I bought another one, very cheap and good. And now the keyboard is working fine.
Original review:
The mouse is faulty. The battery it came with lasted 4 months and now I had to change its battery again, in less than 10 days.
The keyboard freezes and lags frecuently.
I've bought very cheap combos and NEVER HAD THESE ISSUES. They were not available anymore and decided to go with a trusted brand. Money totally wasted.
I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Great combo, great price
Connection was a breeze, and both the keyboard and more were instantly recognized on my Windows 11 laptop. The size seems perfect, and both feel comfortable for a remote work day. Everything is clicky and responsive. Keyboard is relatively quiet, and everything seems well built. I like the pop of white on the bottom, and the style blends in easily. Worth the upgrade.

Beware: used resold as new. No mouse, no wireless connector. Warped keyboard
This keyboard did not have a mouse or wireless connector included in the sealed box, even though it clearly showed them both on the diagram on the front. On top of that, the now completely useless keyboard was warped and had an annoying rocking sensation while typing on it. It wouldn't sit flat on any surface (I thought it could be my desk so I tried several surfaces). Total waste of my time. Would give zero stars if I could.

Very Smooth Keyboard and Mouse with Ergonomics
When it comes to Keyboard or Mouse my default preference is to go with Logitech. This is not difference from my previous experience, all my Mouse are Logi only. I really appreciate the Ergonomic design feature in this Keyboard and Mouse, on the Keyboard the Title legs and the Palm rest is the most important for any developer or for general purpose, the ease and comfort is priceless. It ease out from not getting any pain and being the full size keyboard is very good because entering numbers are very easy on fast typing.
I like the color and finish of the Keyboard, it's super smooth and the button edges are different from other Logi keyboards, it's kind of slides my finger from one key to other keys, very soft. The Multimedia keys, battery light on / off switch are very essentials for todays computers, which is great addition. 2 different height tilt edges are good for me as I keep changing it when I do typing for the whole day.
Mouse is a perfect fit on my palm, I don't like big and long mouse styles, this is super fit to me and this is also a very smooth. Battery comes with it, so don't need to worry for a year of replacing any.
The universal receiver is a great because it optimized and efficient of connecting different devices and configuring them. I'm happy with this product, but what would I recommend is, as now the Bluetooth connectivity is so normal and nowadays re-charchable battery provided on the Keyboard is trendy and practical, hope Logi can step up with the price range given and we can be away from battery replacement completely.

Excellent wireless keyboard and mouse with a classic, familiar layout
This is a high quality, crowd pleasing keyboard and mouse set from Logi. It comes with a classic-layout keyboard with nothing strange - home/end/insert/delete/pgup/pgdn are all in the correct place, there's plenty of spacing around all the keys, and all of the function keys you'd expect are present. It also includes a simple mouse with a shape reminiscent of the Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical 1.1, a classic ambidextrous design.
Both the keyboard and mouse connect via a single, included USB receiver - convenient, but also means you can't split the set apart. The receiver ships in a separate compartment, so don't lose it, but it stows inside the mouse for travel if needed. (That said, this set is full sized and definitely intended for desktop use - it's unlikely to become a mobile travel companion.)
Key travel feels pretty good and typing is reasonably quiet. I like the rounded shape of the keys and it gives this a modern feel, but I think they overdid it on the spacebar, which is a little too rounded and which I sometimes have trouble finding without a defined edge. It's not a dealbreaker, but also not my favorite.
Batteries are included, which is a nice touch.
If you're looking for a generic, crowd pleasing keyboard and mouse set for a shared computer or to stock in an office supply cabinet, this is a fantastic choice.

Responsive keyboard and mouse combination, just plug and play.
When it comes to keyboard and mice, logitech is the most obvious choice. They have made reliable accessories for years and I've owned literally hundreds of their products when I worked in IT. This combination keyboard and mouse is in line with their ease of use and quality.
The receiver plus into USB port, but can be stored in there mouse or the keyboard. The mouse has a classic contour, useful for left and right handed people. Its responsive, light and accurate. The sides have a rubberized grip. It comes with one AA battery. The keyboard is light. It's not as satisfying as a mechanical keyboard, but it has enough travel to make it better than many low profile laptap laptop keyboards. Neither are meant for gaming, but its good enough for light gaming.
I tried it on both my laptop and my Samsung Frame TV. It works on both flawlessly - just plug and play. This makes using a smart TV much more convenient, especially searching shows or video. The volume and play/pause buttons also work.
Overall, excellent everyday combo that just works.

High quality keyboard and mouse set
(edit at end of review on how to remedy a web browser scrolling behavior issue)
I have purchased many Logitech products over the years, including mice and keyboards. This keyboard is the same good quality you can expect from Logitech.
The keyboard is comfortable to type on, with a soft key click (hardly a click at all) and nice spring action to the keys. I like the function key shortcuts built into this keyboard such as Save, Print, Control Panel and others, I don't think I've had those on a keyboard before. Dedicated buttons for Calculator and screen lock are nice too. The wrist rest adds a bit of depth to the overall unit but not annoyingly-so. The keyboard has three height/angle options... two with different stand pieces, and another with both stand pieces folded in. Logitech says the battery will last 36 months, that's great if it makes it that long.
The optional software download will let you change some key assignments.
The mouse is simple and comfortable. It features the typical left/right buttons, scroll wheel, and scroll wheel click. It is no-frills but not cheap-feeling either.
The only two cons I have found, that I'd maybe take half a star off if I could, were...
- In order to default to the "F-keys" for F1 through F12, you need to do that in the settings of the optional software download. On other keyboards (Logitech-branded and others) this is usually done with Function-ESC
- The dedicated "home" button on the keyboard launches a browser, but you can't customize what browser loads. I run different portable Chrome installations for work and personal, and I could not find a way to have the Home button default to the one I wanted. This doesn't bother me because I don't think I'd regularly use a shortcut key to launch a browser anyway, so I reassigned that key with the software to show the desktop
Overall a very nice keyboard and mouse set that is comfortable and should last a long time.
edit: I wanted to pass on a setting that addressed an issue that emerged... while scrolling web pages in Chrome with the scroll wheel, the scrolling would not stop on a dime when the mouse scrolling stopped, it would kind of slow down and stop. This made immediately clicking on a web page element difficult because the target would still be moving. Also it seemed that pages like Google Maps didn't know what to do with that, with a zoomed-in house zooming out to the entire region with one wheel scroll move sometimes. To turn off this behavior, launch the Logitec Options+ app (if you installed it), click on the mouse, click on "Point and Scroll", click on the scroll wheel, and turn off the "Smooth Scrolling" option. This change returned scroll behavior to what I had expected, stops on a dime now.
