Quality is good, set up isn’t.
Quality is good, but it’s honestly a pretty cheap set up and overpriced IMO. The stand hardly holds it, the camera falls out, and the clip doesn’t sit on a laptop very well. Overall disappointing.

The tripod holder for this is garbage and the holder is one of two reasons why I bought this camera. I had to go to Etsy to find one that actually fits. A company like Logitech should rely on random people to 3d print holders because the one they ship with their camera is too small.

Very easy to set up and use! Looks great!

Image quality is superb, but cable broke at camera end within a year so I had to duct tape it
Leafblowers22
Used the camera in a stationary desk setup (not getting tossed around in travel) where wiring, etc would have been in an easy environment. About a year in the camera started having intermittent distortion on the images and then went to pretty much always being distorted where i could no longer use it in a professional setting. After a few months of getting the run around from logi customer support I gave up. They were more interested in redirection and not offering solutions (super vague and cryptic reaponses) for something that was very clearly their quality issue. This wasn't the logi of ten years ago I knew and stood by their products. Very dissappointed given the price of this camera, may as gamble on a no name brand because paying more for logi won't ensure you are taken care of.

The product I was sent has definitely been used before. The box was damaged and the bubble wrap was partly popped. I also refuse to believe that Logitech would have sent an over $100 product with the instructions and wires and camera all just shoved in one plastic bag. Disgraceful if so

To clarify, I received a product that is of good quality. However, there was an accident and the outlet got bent. I would like to know if the outlet can be repaired or if it is entirely unusable. If it can be repaired, how can it be fixed?

The camera itself is great but the software has crippled it.
I bought this camera from a different seller during the pandemic when they were sold out everywhere. At the time, I was using a Macbook Pro with an intel chip and the Logi Capture software that came with it worked perfectly. My computer was changed by the IT department to an M1 Macbook Pro and the software didn't work any longer.
The original software was a streaming capture platform with watermarks, overlays, chroma key options, color temp and tint adjustments, and full image control. Logitech's new software, G Hub, doesn't allow you to access the full capabilities of the camera. It has minimal image control settings and limits the resolution to 480/720, not full HD.
I used to be able to set my camera up in Capture and have those settings carry over to Zoom, Teams, etc... and I can run Hub in the background but the video quality is reduced even though I have some, minor, image controls returned.
Update: I'd give this a half-star improvement but I can't do that so I've bumped it up to 4 because I found out about the Logi Tune software which, while not really publicized, brings back some of the functionality that was lost when Logi Capture went away. It's not everything I want, but it lets me get better exposure and white balance without having to use the G-Hub disaster.

Instructions tell you to download Ghub, Ghub has no way to opt out of data collection. The only reason to download Ghub is a firmware update. Pretty poor business practice.

This works well for my streaming. Picture quality is alright not bad though. The flip piece on top of it is a lens cover that I bought separately.

So I got this product Friday the ppl kept dropping items at my door but once I opened it .. this is what the package look like the .. camera had a few Marks cut marks .. I tried it the picture quality is good but I don’t see the auto focus and for $160 plus tax .. I think we can find a more all in one webcam for that price .. so for me I will return it an find another one but it was cool for a day .. also the wed lens part ot wide view is only when you sit it side ways
Having it upright makes a portrait or tik tok videos .. this is not ment for just streaming idk why they say it’s a streaming camera .. you can stream but no one streams in portrait mode ahah

* Outstanding quality images
* Fast autofocus
* 70mm minimum focus distance for close up images
* cable is a bit short
* cable is USB type-C so you'll need an adapter for older PCs that have USB type-A plugs
The camera is excellent. Picture quality is great even in low light. It will focus even very close; I measured the auto focus minimum working distance at 70mm. I wanted a good streaming camera for work that also could focus close enough to share close ups of my I.D. or other documents for online verifications.
The cable is a bit short and is a USB type-C connector. Many older PCs have just USB2 and USB3 type-A connectors so you'll need an adapter if you don't have any (or many) USB type-C ports. The USB C is required if you want to take advantage of the fastest frame rates at full HD resolution though.
There is no privacy shutter. Sure, there's a light that tells you when the camera is on but in today's world of hackers, I'd rather have a physical closure. I taped a piece of plastic to the top of the camera and flip it up and down as a homemade privacy shield. It was easy enough to correct.

Hardware: The cord cannot be detached, wish the cord was coming out down at an angle rather than straight back. The two orientation is cool but will likely never use the portrait orientation.
Software: **MacOS users** warning if you have an M1 chip, the software is NOT compatible. I could not use the software to make manual adjustments to the cameras software. Although you cannot use the software to make manual adjustments, the camera can still be used. The video quality is good, mic could be better.

This is a scam. They are selling the normal StreamCam WITHOUT the tripod for the price of the StreamCam Plus with tripod.

Less than a year old not exposed to the sun. The other jacket has split open.
The camera was installed on the display and never removed. Discovered the damage after I removed the display from the desk.

I was a bit concerned about the negative reviews (1-2 stars). But, the webcam is actually very good. The pix on the left are from an old Logitech cam. The pix on the right are from this cam. Really happy with the purchase.

Great solid build quality. Thick cable, USB-C is super nice and easy to use with the USB-C MacBook Pro. Video quality is better than anything else I've used including Razor Kiyo (Pictured) and Razor Kiyo Pro (Not Pictured). However, the Razor Kiyo Pro has much better low light abilities. The microphone built into the logitech camera isn't terrible but doesn't sound as good as the build it MacBook microphone.

As a hybrid teacher in the time of Covid, this has been a life saver!!!! Excellent product that plays nicely with my MacBook Air! Connects to accessories and has excellent quality! Awesome cam for the price!!

I'm really surprised with this purchase. Normally I can forgive 1 damaged edge on a new product box but this Logitech camera has definite damage markings on the outside and the product itself shows marks of being manipulated or used before repackaging it.
The cardboard holding the camera was bent and the outside of the camera had what I think are finger-grease marks.
The camera has worked well so far but I paid full price for a new camera, not an used one.

I saw another review that said if you selected "Logi Capture" instead of Logi Streamcam as the video source in Skype or Zoom it should translate fine. Not the case. There seems to be an inherent issue with simply sending the video from the software to the video chat apps (which is what I need this for) and it looks pretty bad. See the pics for what it looks like in app versus in Zoom.

This bracket broke only after 2 months of use and Logitech said it’s my fault. An accessory should last longer.

The camera works perfectly, I recommend the product to anyone looking for a streaming webcam. The issue is that the seller listed it as “still sealed, practically brand new” and this was not the case. The box was heavily damaged and had clearly been opened before and the camera lens had some scuff which indicates previous usage. Very happy with the product quality but the listing itself was misleading and false.

We have purchased several different models (C920, C922) of Logitech webcams before. This one has the best quality. Fantastic design and 60fps HD resolution make the video quality much better. The USB-C connector works well with my Macbook. Solid build and really well made. Will buy again.

Product arrived in an open box and the camera was not working! I received the refunding but need to pay to send the package.

The camera quality is great and it has been a great replacement for one that was poor quality and was at its end of life. Very pleased with the product but I am removing a star because it arrived totally squished and the packaging was damaged. This is because it was packed in a poly bag instead of a box, but luckily functioning perfectly fine. Great product overall, would be great if it is packaged with more care given the price and to avoid damage to the lens.

The quality of the Webcam is ideal for creators who don't need 4k resolution. Whether you need a webcam for recorded footage or live streaming, this is, in my experience using it, a very solid Webcam that's worthy of its $170 price tag. It has a solid build quality, and a 3hinge base which allows for an incredible amount of variation with how to angle the Webcam. You can even place it on your desk and it will stand up evenly. It also nice a clean design and looks nice with any setup.
Getting into the actual workings of the camera, it does max out at 1080p@60fps which is what high end streams run at, but falls short of 4k if you're into more recording/editing work. It connects via USB-C only, so do make sure your computer has an available USB-C input before purchasing this camera. It comes with a built-in mic that's...passable. I mean, it's a mic on a Webcam which is a step down from a mic on a Headset which is a step down from a standalone microphone. But it's functional and passable and if you needed voice in a pinch it's not terrible for what it is.
A cool feature this Webcam has is the ability to capture either your Display or a Window. Think of how the capture source functionality works in OBS and it's similar, except built into the Logitech webcam software you use to manage it. The maximum sources is 2, but it allows you to toggle modes via the click of a button to change Scenes. For example, if you're capturing 2 sources, scene 1 would be just your cam, scene 2 your desktop, and 3,4,5, and 6 are variations of overlays with the two displaying at the same time. Interestingly, there is an apparent accelerometer inside this as it can detect if the webcam is positioned vertically or horizontally and will adjust its video output to portrait or landscape respectively.
I won't go over every little setting you can change but I'll highlight the more important ones:
+Backlight correction that works pretty well
+Image stabilization that uses a zoom effect to mitigate some shakyness in case, I guess, if you ever took it outside and started walking around with it.
+Mono/stereo channel option
+Auto-framing. This one is cool as the camera will track to your face and seemingly position itself on your face as you move around though I wonder what practical application that could be useful for. Vlogs maybe if you move your head around or something?
+As expected, you can turn on or off the "Logi" watermark
+Text overlays which you can adjust the font, foreground and background color of (even transparency options)
+Filters, borders, and transitions.
+Hotkeys
+Lastly, the software is incredibly easy to use.
It's worth noting that to unlock all options of certain features you need to sign up for their logitech account.
The one negative experience I have with this Camera is that sometimes when I'm choosing a certain setting, it will lock up and reboot. I'm not sure what causes it; it happens very infrequently. I updated my BIOS, chipset, management interface engine, and updated the firmware of my USB controller and it still crashed. I'm not sure if this happens to other people but I won't ding it any stars in case it's something with my setup, but I figured I'd mention it here.

Works very well! Super solid piece. I actually bought this in store at Best Buy as the Best Buy version comes with a tripod mount. For streaming purposes, I wish Logicapture didn’t utilize so much CPU usage. Or if they built features within G HUB app. You can use Logicapture app as a video source in OBS; however cpu usage is outrageous. Using the streamcam as a direct video source works perfectly and the settings actually save! So you don’t have to configure video properties each and every time (I’ve heard is an issue with other webcam settings in OBS). Priced a little high for the specs but I purchased to future proof!

The Logitech StreamCam is a great accessory these days when many work-from-home people are conducting meetings online. The Camera uses a USB C cable with a clip for mounting on top of the laptop screen or display monitor. I was able to use an USB C Female to USB 3.0 Male Adapter to connect the camera to my desktop PC for online meetings.
The installation is very straight-forward by downloading Logitech capture software. It has a user-friendly interface (see attached picture). One nice thing is that it also works with Zoom flawlessly which is the platform I use for online meetings. The video quality is pretty decent with 1080 p 60 fps. The audio is clear but not as good as the Yeti microphone I have been using.
The package also comes with a free 3 months Xplit Premium license.

I’ve had this camera about a day or two. I’m really enjoying it. The first thing I did was immediately do a side by side in OBS with my C920 and this one and the StreamCam is a massive improvement in picture quality. The fact that it has a smaller FOV than the Brio is a little disappointing, but it was something that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. The focus is a much needed upgrade over previous models and the software was relatively easy to use prior to opening the camera up in OBS. It should probably be about 20-30 dollars cheaper, but it’s definitely a big upgrade from the cheaper and older counterparts.
