Be advised you will get a USB C to USB C Charging cable!
Beware of the charging cable, this company decided to put a USB C to USB C charging cable with this device. I believe everyone would ask why? Please have a USB A to USB C for easy charging capabilities. The Lokithor JP400 is a fantastic device with many attributes, but the charging cable is a big issue and should looked at. Most cars and phones have USB A capabilities not USB C this is a huge oversite on the part of Lokithor- To whom it may concern @LOKITHOR FIX THIS PROBLEM! Add USB A to C to the package.

Noco Who? The Inflator Wins It For Me
Already owning an earlier generation Lokithor that has been rock solid, I wanted to grab another to keep dedicated to the car. The built-in inflator is the main reason I gravitate toward a unit like this over a name-brand option like a Noco- and it delivers. It works well and comes with a surprisingly large collection of adapters, covering everything from basketballs to air mattresses. The hose setup is a little funky but functional, and the rapid deflate feature is a nice bonus you don't always see.
My one wish is that a unit this boxy would have a small built-in compartment to store all the air attachments, instead everything goes into the included cloth bag, which gets the job done but feels like a missed opportunity given the form factor.
USB-C charging is a must-have for me, and this delivers. After a jump, you can top it back up with whatever phone charger you already have in the car — no hunting for a special cable. I've only had chances to start a dead car in mild weather, which it preformed well. Cant attest to cold starts just yet. Overall, easy recommendation if you want a reliable jump starter with a genuinely useful inflator built in.

Small but Mighty Portable Jump Starter
This little device surprised me in the best way. For something so compact and easy to store, it packs a serious punch. The battery jumper is the real hero here, but the built‑in air compressor has already earned its keep by quickly filling tires, balls, inflatables, and whatever else the day throws at us. It is loud, but it works fast enough that the noise doesn’t bother me.
The screen is a nice touch, but it’s definitely hard to see in direct sunlight, something to keep in mind if you’re using it outdoors. I also appreciate that it isn’t heavy or bulky, which makes it easy to grab and go. The only thing I wish it came with is a carrying case to keep everything together.
Even with that small drawback, it’s a great value for the money and one of those practical tools I’m genuinely glad to have around. This is a must have for the everyday commuter.

Only one you will ever need
This all-in-one device works perfectly for car emergencies. The tire inflator features a clear display and convenient auto-shutoff, while the jump starter reliably handled my battery—though its short clamps can make positioning a bit awkward. It also includes a bright flashlight, a functional power bank (even if the capacity feels slightly lower than advertised), and a storage bag with plenty of accessories. Overall, it is a highly recommended and easy-to-store multi-purpose tool.

Must have!
When my car unexpectedly broke down last night and failed to start, this jump starter proved to be exactly the solution I needed. Thanks to having it on hand, I was able to get back on the road quickly and without any hassle.

Way more useful than a basic jump pack
This LOKITHOR JPD400 has been more useful than I expected. I tested it as a jump starter on a 2.5L engine, and it was able to start it on its own without the car battery helping. That alone makes it worth keeping in the car.
The air compressor is also super strong. It is not one of those tiny pumps that takes forever and gets annoying to use. It inflated tires quickly, the screen was easy to read, and the auto-stop worked well enough for normal tire pressure checks. In my use, the battery had enough capacity to fully inflate two tires from flat, which is pretty solid for a portable unit.
The mattress inflator/deflator function is useful for camping, and the built-in lamp is actually powerful enough to be helpful at night instead of just being a small emergency light. Charging speed was good too — measured around 28W in my case.
It is a bit bigger than a basic jump starter, but that is the tradeoff for having the compressor, deflator, power bank, and light built in. For me, that makes more sense than carrying separate tools. Good unit to keep in the trunk or take camping.

Never Leave Home Without It
This jump starter recently saved me from a bad situation when I accidentally left my headlights on. I had my doubts if something so small would have enough power to start my car, but it certainly did. With no issues. The built in light was also extremely handy and a thoughtful design touch. These things have come a long way in the last few years.

You NEED one of these to keep in your car.
I own multiple Lokithor models. This one does not have water pumping capability like my primary one (AW401) does, but it is GREAT at what it does. We needed it practically as soon as it arrived, to inflate a flat tire on the moving dolly. It worked perfectly for that. Next I needed it to inflate the inner portion for my inflatable hot tub's cover, which was underinflated, but we didn't want to disconnect the air from the hot tub if there was an alternative way to do it. Lokithor worked great for that, too.
It's very readily portable, charges up quickly, doesn't take up a lot of room in the cargo space, is very easy to use, and has excellent power. I keep a Lokithor in each of our vehicles as well as one in the house for routine use around the house. My 11 year old "camped" last week behind the house and used the light on the unit for going back and forth between house and his camp in the dark, then used the Lokithor as a power bank for his tablet.
I haven't had to use this particular one for jump-starting the car yet but I have no doubt it could do it if it needed to!

works well with a couple caveats
this is the third lokithor product I have and combines the two most common things you'd want in to carry around in a car - jump start and tire inflation.
the power bank is a bonus, but also one of the caveats. The non-tire air inflation/deflation I no longer have an inflatable sheep to test on.
turns out the light was handy due to the second caveat ... the jumper cables are pretty short - around 8" of wire attached to the clamps.
first test was charging the unit and verifying PD 3.0. USB tester confirms it handles PD3.0 protocol correctly and when charging the unit at the time of the picture it was pulling around 26-27W, so not slow charging but not the 100W charging some other lokithor units can do ... but how often does that actually matter.
next up was battery capacity test, and here we have a hard fail. The pictured load is configured for 1.5A continuous current draw and the JPD400 is doing that at 4.9V, which is around 7.35 watts of power delivery. The JDP400 display shows a -8w drain, so that agrees. However, I ran the test twice and the battery capacity is ~6000mAh ... well below the advertised amount. Typically you can allow 10% less for real world conditions vs. an optimal lab test, but 40% less is way too low.
still, you probably aren't buying this thing to use as a power bank so probably won't care, but it's not good for the brand. My two previous lokithor products have met their specifications reasonably well and hopefully this isn't a sign of declining quality or marketing puffery.
my usual tire inflation test is the front left tire on a jeep wrangler deflated to 25psi. I time the unit reinflating the tire to 36psi.
inflation pump noise was a little louder than some units I've tried and the 5:31 inflation time was better than many. The unit properly cut off at 36psi and the pressure was accurate checking with a dial gauge. One tire did use up one bar of battery, but I didn't charge the unit and moved on to jump start testing. The hose connection did not get very hot unlike some inflators I've tried.
we have a car that has sat a long time and it's battery voltage was down around 7.4V. The battery is in the trunk and not ideally positioned for jump starting, so here's where the short cables were awkward. On the bright side, the light on the unit let me see the battery top and connect the cables, then I could plug the unit onto the connector and lean it against the battery. The JPD400 started the car 10 times in 64F weather and I stopped before the JPD400 did - but no excessive cranking was needed and it's not a large displacement engine.
like many multi-function products that have minimal numbers of buttons and use short press/long press to do different things, you may have to break down and actually read the manual.
the jump start function was nice - connect the cables and turn it on with nothing else needed. Why you have to long press the pump button to turn it on and short press to turn it off I dunno, but I guess it's something you'd at least try before checking that nobody will see you resorting to the manual.
overall, it's a good unit that does what it needs to do. It's taller than I'd like and the box and/or included bag aren't great as storage solutions, but it's also cheaper than the higher capacity J401X jump start only that I normally keep in the jeep and they have to cut costs somewhere.
as someone else noted, the car mode pressure is in bars and you can't change it, so I set the generic mode to 36psi and let it run. I could have just used motorcycle mode which is in psi or remember that 36psi is about 2.5 bar ... or ask alexa ... but I spent more time figuring out that I couldn't change car mode to psi than I'd care to admit as it seemed odd that is wasn't possible.

Great all in one device!
I own many booster/jump starters but this one is by far the best. You can inflate tires, balls, toys etc. You can jump cars and trucks even from a completely dead battery, and you can deflate also. It comes with all accessories needed and a quality storage bag to hold everything including the pump/jumper. It is large compared to other portable jump starters but well worth it. It's built durable. I pumped up my tire and jumped a completely dead v6 car and kept it powered for about 5min and it only used one bar of battery. So it has plenty of power. I love that you can over ride the smart feature so you can jump a completely dead car. Oh and it also has USB ports to charge your devices. The only issue I had is I wasn't able to change the car inflate option from bar to psi but that's no big deal as there is a regular psi inflation option. It also tells you your car battery voltage as well as the packs voltage. I highly recommend!

Great Peace of Mind for Emergencies
The good thing is I haven’t had to use this yet, but I’m really glad to have it on hand. It gives me peace of mind knowing I’ll be prepared if I ever need a jump start or have to add air to my tires.
I look forward to having it available for both emergency situations and regular maintenance like keeping my tire pressure in check. It seems like a very practical all-in-one tool for the car.
Overall, this is a great item to keep in your vehicle for added safety and convenience, even if you hopefully don’t need to use it often.

Very useful tool to have around
Just as this device arrived, we had an immediate use for it. The low pressure light had just come on in our car and we needed to get the tire back up to pressure. I was fairly impressed at the functionality of the compressor side of the unit. It was very easy and straightforward to use. Once the air hose is connected to the valve stem, the power button is pressed, and the current pressure of the tire is shown on the display. The desired pressure is then set with the plus/minus buttons and the compressor is activated with a long press of the “pump“ button. The compressor stops once the pressure reaches what was set. One possible concern that I had with the compressor function is how hot the air hose gets, especially on the end that connects to the unit. It’s not to the level of being scary, but definitely hotter than I think it should be. Just something to keep an eye on.
Ironically, a few days later, the battery was dead on our van due to a dome light mishap so I got a chance to try the jump-start capabilities of the device. The boosting function has two modes, “Normal Start“ and “Force Start“. I was easily able to get the vehicle started under the “Normal Start“ mode which engages safety features. The “Force Start“ mode bypasses the checks that the other mode goes through.
A surprisingly large amount of information is conveyed on the digital LED display. There are colored indicator lights for reverse polarity, “ConnectMax“ jumpstart mode, high/low impedance, high/low temperature, charge reminder, and error. This is in addition to the current battery level and inflation modes. The display has a refresh rate that makes it difficult to capture the fully lit numbers on camera, so that is why the display numbers are blank in the pics in this review.
Finally, there is an impressive number of accessories that come with the unit. The set includes the jumpstart clamps, a USB–C charge cable, a large hose for inflating air mattresses etc, a large variety of different air nozzles/adapters, and a thin fabric carry sack.
All-in-all, I think this is a very useful thing to keep in the trunk.

Little magic box that actually gets cars started.
I don't understand how this thing works, but it does! I decided to put it through a bit of a stress test by loading a semi-dead battery with a resistive battery tester (red-hot coil drawing the battery to 11 volts), then with the load still on, gave it a boost with the JPD400 charger/booster, and it instantly raised the voltage to 14 volts and kept it at that level for the time cycle that the unit allows for safe operation (about 10-15 seconds). I repeated it after cooldown (without recharging), with the same result. So, somehow, this little box boost the battery voltage to full 14 V, even under a load.
The unit has several other functions - a light, an automatic air compressor, and a book full of complex functions that I can't see anyone understanding or reading about when in an emergency on the side of a road... Frankly, for an emergency tool, simplicity would be the best option. Also, it does not have with its own charger/power supply. Any USB or USB C cable/adapter will work, but I wished one was included. But overall, it works well.

Most handy piece of equipment in your truck.
So I got this to try. Let me just say that this JPD 400 jump starter with air compressor is probably the most important piece of equipment. I keep in my truck now. Not only will this jumpstart my truck if I need it. It has enough power to inflate the tires. Inflate my beach toys and has an emergency light built-in. It can deflate too. This jump box has enough power to jumpstart a diesel truck. It comes with a nice carry bag. What an amazing value.

Airs up tires quickly and accurately!
After years of manually inflating tires, toys, and anything else that needed air, this multi‑function tool became a well‑deserved “retirement gift” from all that effort. The added deflation and jump‑start capabilities in my case were
bonuses. Given how many features are packed into such a compact and lightweight unit, I expected the inflator to be slow. It turned out to be far more capable than I anticipated.
Inflation Performance
The inflator delivered results immediately. I tested it on a 700×38c bicycle tire, inflating it from completely flat to 65 PSI in one minute. That’s genuinely impressive for a portable unit of this size. I doubt I could match that speed with a manual pump, and realistically it would have taken me at least twice as long. Being able to set a target pressure, start the pump, and walk away while it automatically shuts off at the correct PSI is a major convenience upgrade.
Portability and Everyday Convenience
One of the biggest advantages of this unit is how portable it is compared to traditional air compressors. Even the “portable” shop compressors are many times the size and weight of this device, often requiring a handle just to move them around and a storage tank that must fill before you can use them. The JPD400 is light enough to grab with one hand, requires no tank fill‑up, and is ready to use instantly. That alone makes it far more practical for quick jobs, roadside use, or keeping in the car.
Build Quality and Jump‑Start Hardware
The jump‑start cables appear to be built with intent.
• The clamps use solid copper teeth for strong electrical contact.
• The harness and connector use solid brass, ideal for efficient power transfer.
I haven’t needed to test the jump‑start function yet, but the quality of the components—and the surprising output of the inflator—gives me confidence that the jump‑starter will perform when needed.
Multi‑Use Inflator/Deflator
The included attachments for toys, balls, air mattresses, and storage bags work very well. The ability to inflate and deflate makes this far more versatile than a typical tire inflator. It’s the kind of tool that ends up being used far more often than expected.
Overall Impression
This is a compact, well‑designed, and capable multi‑function tool. I found the tire inflation to be quick, the jump‑start hardware to be quality made, and all accessories to be useful. All these together in a small portable package make it a strong value for anyone who wants a single device that can handle emergencies, maintenance, and support recreational activities.

This one is worth trying!
The LOKITHOR JPD400 Jump Starter with Air Compressor and Deflator has exceeded my expectations! I've owned a handful of portable jump packs with air compressors. While they can do multiple things, I have never had a single unit do any features well. The Lokithor did it!
My first test I threw at it was to completely remove the battery from an old tired 1998 Cadillac Eldorado with the v8 engine and crank it over for nearly a min until the car finally started! It did give an over temperature warning afterwards and took 30mins to cool off. It used half its battery to do it, but it did do it!
To test the air compressor, I had it pump a completely flat front car tire (started at 2 psi) and ran it up to 30psi. It took about 5mins which is acceptable for my use cases. The best part was that it was reasonably quiet. It wouldn't be difficult to talk over it while it was pumping up the tire.
The packaging is disappointing. A cheap cloth bag for all the loose parts is not a good solution.
The construction feels good and solid. The jumper cables are removable. The jaws are reasonably sharp and bite well. The cables are thick but still flexible. The air compressor hose has a locking Schrader valve adapter which locks on firm and has not been leaky. The display is easy to read. Buttons and functions are intuitive. Supports fast charging over USB C.
Overall, this delivered on all the claims! I'm blown away with this jump pack!

Jump starter
The LOKITHOR JPD400 made a great first impression right out of the box. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the layout of the controls is intuitive. The jump starter has plenty of power on paper, and everything about it suggests it’ll handle emergencies without breaking a sweat. I haven’t had a chance to use the deflator yet, but the compressor and overall design look thoughtfully engineered and reliable. The included cables, LED light, and power bank functionality make it a versatile tool to keep in the car. Very happy with the purchase so far and confident it’ll perform when needed.

Another Great Product by LOKITHOR!
We’ve owned several LOKITHOR products over time, and each one has proven to be top-notch in quality while remaining affordable. The JPD400 Jump Starter with Air Compressor is no exception—it’s yet another solid addition to their lineup that delivers excellent performance and value.
With an impressive 3000A peak current, this 12V portable jump starter easily handles jumps for up to 9.0L gas and 7.0L diesel engines, giving me peace of mind for a variety of vehicle types. The included 150PSI tire inflator is a fantastic multi-purpose tool, allowing for both inflation and deflation, which comes in handy for quick tire maintenance or adjustments on the go.
The ConnectMax Tech is a standout feature that ensures safe and efficient power delivery by adapting to the connected devices, protecting both the battery and my equipment.
Overall, this jump starter and air compressor combo is reliable, powerful, and thoughtfully designed. It’s perfect for anyone who wants a versatile, portable emergency tool without breaking the bank.
I’m happy to give this 5 stars and highly recommend it!

Great use
This device functions as a robust jump starter and a high-volume air compressor, capable of inflating a variety of items, including volleyballs, car tires, air mattresses, and inflatable pools. It stands out as one of the more versatile multi-purpose jump starters I have encountered. In addition to its positive pressure air pump capabilities, it also serves as an air vacuum, facilitating the rapid deflation of items such as air mattresses. The components are conveniently stored in a durable carrying case. I highly recommend fully charging the unit upon initial receipt. Although mine indicated a full charge upon arrival, it continued to charge for approximately an hour. These compact, combined jump starter and air pump tools represent a significant advancement over older models that required connection to the vehicle's 12V accessory port. This design allows for easy portability, enabling me to prepare my riding mower for the mowing season in my shed without having to drive my car into the backyard.

A worthwhile upgrade
I now take one star off because my recent experience of inflating the tires: I noticed it gets shut down due to the heat only before adding 20 lb of air. If you rely on it to inflate all your tires, you will have to take a lot of breaks. This is one of the limitations when you have an all-in-one.
I have debated if I should get this jump starter because I already have a Jump Starter Clore, which is very powerful and often used by professional roadside service. After many comparisons, I decided to go for an upgrade due to the following reasons:
Power & Performance:
LOKITHOR JPD400: 3000A peak, handles up to 9.0L gas/7.0L diesel
Clore JNC660: 1700A peak with 425 cranking amps, proven reliability
Design & Portability:
LOKITHOR: Compact at 1.85 lbs with lithium polymer battery
Clore: Heavy-duty at 18 lbs with 22Ah PROFORMER battery
Additional Features:
LOKITHOR: Built-in 150 PSI tire inflator, dual air pump system, 10000mAh power bank, LED lights
Clore: DC outlet for accessories, built-in voltmeter, industrial-grade clamps
Technology:
LOKITHOR: CONNECTMAX impedance detection for better connection
Clore: Traditional design with automatic charger capability
For my V8 older Escalade, both will work well. The LOKITHOR offers more versatility with its all-in-one design including tire inflation, while the Clore provides traditional heavy-duty reliability.
Only time will tell but I like LOKITHOR multi functions and light weight.

Excellent emergency tool, but needs better packaging/storage!
Excellent little jump pack and air inflator. Perfect for keeping in the car for emergencies and also for camping to help fill-up air mattresses. Only knocking it a star for the packaging as for the price point this unit should come with a better setup and case instead of the cheap bag provided and it doesn't even have a drawstring holder to keep it closed. Needs better packaging as this is something you are going to keep in the car for emergencies and you don't want everything coming out of the bag.

SOOO many uses....fill your tires at home, fill water toys at the beach AND deflate, or jump a car!
I got this because I have a 2 year old Tesla 3 with tires that can not seem to hold air very well. This allows me to fill my tires as soon as the idiot light goes on, in the shade of my driveway with a kneel pad, without having to get down on hot asphalt at the gas station.
They put just enough charge on the battery to show you that it works, then you will need to put a full charge on it--USb to Usb-C cable included. It takes quite a bit of power just to fill a tire, let alone, jump a car battery, but I trust them that it will. I was trying to add about 20 Lbs of air to a very low tire and it didn't make it all the way with the amount of charge that came with the unit.
I also have grown kids with inflatable paddle boards that will need portable inflating and deflating, so this is multi-purpose, at least for our family. I have a good feeling my son is going to want to borrow this when they go to the beach with his kids.
It has a very short hose on the tire inflator, so be sure your stem is at the bottom of the wheel, so you can set it on the ground instead of having to hold it, like in my video. The inflator has a locking lever to hold the air compressor female end in place on the stem, but it will pull off easily and disconnect if the unit is not kept close to the fill valve.
It comes with two bags of attachment tips...one bag is all black plastic for inflating larger items like paddle boards, and a bag of smaller tips for items like pool floats, basketballs, footballs, etc.
I especially like that it can also be used for deflating, which can sometimes take a long time if you are needing to do that manually. If going to the beach, you could recharge the unit in the car, so it is ready to deflate your paddle boards on your return.
And, of course, it comes with a very short pair of charging cable for a car battery. This is a great multi-use unit for many uses at the price of $120. It is fairly compact, allowing storage in your trunk, if needed.
I have not determined what the total battery charge time is, but with most things, one seldom gets the amount of time out of it that the manufacturer claims is the "max".
Charging the new unit after we quickly used up the initial charge included when shipped, was about 4 hours.
I think this is going to be a great addition to our garage with the many uses it is designed for.
