The device has a spring loaded mount and soft suction cups. One of these immediately broke off during the first brief use. The makers need to redesign it with a more secure mount, either a d’Addario tuner type lock or a padded screw mount like most chin rests.
During my brief trial I found the tone was good. I will update my review once I manage to attach the device sufficiently securely to use it more than a few seconds.
The first update is that close inspection of the attachment point of the broken suction cup reveals that the rubber is hollow. Was it designed that way or is it a bubble in the rubber material? The question still remains as to how the device itself performs, to be answered after the replacement device arrives. I'm also researching alternative mounting methods while I wait on the replacement.
The second update is about the replacement device. Its suction cups aren’t coming off but one has to be very careful to ch it while playing as it will detach. The flexible arm is not quite long enough to center the microphone over the strings. My final rating is three stars but I’m looking for a better type product.

Amazing sound, easy set up and a must have if you play instruments.
I got this for my sister-in-law. She is a solo guitarist playing at coffee shops and bars. She did a solo performance for the family last night to try this microphone out, and the sound was amazingly good.
The setup was easy for her. The construction of this piece is excellent after watching her play for an hour. I wish I were as talented as her.
I am very happy with this purchase. My sister-in-law is happy to have this. I recommend.

Good pickup
I had been looking for an instrument mic that I can use when I play with my band during performances. We've been using stand mics, but I tend to move around when I play, and I don't like to be stuck in one position all the time. This mic has good pickup. It sits on top of a goose neck and is attached to what appears to be 'springs' which act as a vibration dampener. It's easy to pair. The downside to this is the size, it is rather big especially with the windscreen attached, so you can see it while you play. The instrument clamp is spring loaded and is rather tight. I had to be very careful when attaching as I did not want to scratch my instrument. It has 2 small suction cups on the top and bottom of the 'clamp' and a piece of foam on the inside. It's also made of plastic and I'm not sure how well it will hold up in the long run. Set up was easy and it worked right away. The trick was finding the right gain and volume levels on the amp to avoid feedback. They also included a nice case to hold everything.

Portable & Quality Sound
This ACEMIC VT-5 wireless violin microphone system uses advanced audio technology to project sound up to 130 feet and has recording-quality sound. We noticed it the built-in mic delivered clear sound and an adapter is included for various audio equipment. The mic features 16 adjustable channels and the ability to support 4 systems. It has a gooseneck and spring clip to easily secure to my violin without damaging it. The device can be used for 6 hours and has a 2-in-1 charging cable. It is super lightweight and portable, making it easy and perfect to carry around for shows.

BEST amazing mic for violin
My son is the violinist at our church. This wireless mic is the best system we've found. We have found another great clamp on flexible mic similar but he was dragging a wire around. This gives a true to violin sound unlike those cheap piezo pickups thats requires bridge modification.
This being wireless also gives the freedom to move around as if not being amplified. The church has 8 other wireless mics and instruments. I also play guitar on my own wireless kit ( LEKATO Wireless Guitar System 5.8 GHZ ). This makes a total of 10 wireless items. not to mention the church's wifi system and the internet they are live streaming with. There has been no bleed over of signals on anything item there.
My son also stands in front of a very loud floor monitor. I had the floor monitor volume bumped way up for me over to the side to hear. With him standing directly in front of the floor monitor as of yet we've not had any feedback problems.
When he is done playing for the song service part, he turned off the transmitter and there is no boom. Its a silent off.
Others have said the suction cups doesn't hold up too well. We haven't had any issues yet, but, i can see where this could be a future issue. He is 13 and I've instructed him to be extra careful with them. This system also came with a nice carry/storage case.
