DECEPCIONANTE.

Great Audio Board for ALL by MAONO

I like this unit a lot and use it almost everyday or everytime I turn on my computer. It doesn't matter if I am live streaming or editing and pre-recording, it is fun to have! I recommend this unit for all!

Works For PS5

This soundboard is a beast for my PlayStation 5, great for live streaming, soundboard, playing music in game or party chat, the ability to customize the way you operate this board giving you the ability of different inputs and outputs you can do. For the price and the features I thought it was a good buy! If I found this on sale it would have been even better!

Great product and service!

I just stopped using it for a month or so and the pads and most dials did not function. The team reached out to me and suggested I reset the thing. It works fine now!

Great for beginners or seasoned pros

I was gifted one of these for my classroom when I was starting up a podcasting club. It was easy to set up and use (plug and play), and had a lot of good features. We had a condenser mic and a dynamic mic hooked up, and used the 48V phantom power to get that extra juice. Used the touchpads to program in some stings and sound effects, and were able to mix on the fly while streaming.

It was so good, I got another one for my personal use at home.

It's lightweight and portable, too, using an internal battery good for 8 hours or so (less if you are using it pretty heavily). Be careful with the battery; like all components with internal batteries, leaving it plugged indefinitely could cause problems later on. All in all, this is a GREAT product with some good features.

Not a good product for the price

This was used for video editing and sound production. It was great at first but now nothing on the panel lights up anymore to indicate what settings you have applied or the volume unit levels when the microphone is activated.

The device still works but in the photo the device is clearly on with none of the buttons lit to indicate settings. The power-on post test buttons light up when you turn it on but nothing stays on after that.

I had a much much cheaper similar sound board that still works and I felt the need to upgrade but I would not recommend this product for serious users.

Home Run for Vocalists and Musicians looking to start Recording

Records great audio, very easy for me to mix my high, mid, and lows in my EQ. A great option for people wanting to start recording themselves singing, playing instruments, or both! Can send your audio out to 2 different devices as well. Gets the job done for podcasting, but there is a touch of reverb that you hear in your headphones, but it does not show up in your audio recordings. Definitely 5 stars for content creators looking to start recording their own music and singing at this price point, and can get the job done for podcasters. If you are only looking to use this for spoken word and clean and crisp audio in your headphones is important to you, may want to move up in price to get that with these features still a part of your interface. Amazing features for musicians & vocalists for sure, just a little give and take to get the price this low for beginners if you want to use it for other projects as well!

Low quality and Too complicated for beginners

The product is too complicated to figure out as a beginner. I needed to buy so many other cords and connecting items to get this thing to work. I want to find something that has everything I need to record and have fun so I need a different product. Having to figure out how this works step by step sucks the creativity out after so many hours of trying to get everything to work. I have a brand new computer to start my YouTube channel and i thought I had everything I needed. The Bluetooth doesn’t work which was the reason I purchased it in the first place.

The second picture is the Maono headphones that are low quality and fell apart and never used the product yet. I’m not having the best experience with this brand. How can I speak with someone about these products and get the appropriate kit for starting my YouTube channel/podcast?

Great entry level device!

Great device for the me! I am very new to this pod casting and recording for my videos. I have had it for a few months and have used it a few times to do some recordings for work presentations etc. It has great I/O and the included accessories are a plus. The box includes a USB cable to connect to the computer and charging cable, just remember the charge port is separate ( I don't know why they separated the ports, so you should pick up a extra cable and charging block to charge while in use). Two 3.5mm audio cables to connect phones, mp3 player, or other 3.5mm device. There is a quick setup guide and the user's manual.

All the ports are marked and labeled with either words or a icon of what it is for. All the pads light up and when turned on it does a nice little start up sequence. I really enjoyed using this device and I while I am still learning how to use all its functions there are a few things I don't like. First is the plastic. I know its is entry level but a metal chassis would have been nice. Some of the knobs and sliders feel a little loose, makes it feel cheap. Other than that it is a solid buy. All in all it is a great entry level device (For me, I am "noob, entry). The interface can be a little overwhelming but there are many videos on the internet to help understand the ins and outs of this machine.

+ Value

+ I/O

+ Labeling

+ Back lit pads

+ LED level read out

- NO Charging cable or brick

- knobs feel loose

Hope this was helpful!

Amazing Upgrade for Streaming

The Maonocaster has been a huge surprise for me (the good kind). I didn’t know how large of an improvement it would make to my audio and overall quality of life when it comes to creating content. The sound is rich & very controllable. Makes my live streams SO MUCH EASIER. Pair it with a Stream Deck, and a nice condenser microphone & you’ll be looking and sounding like a pro. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Affordable Option for audio management

I have limited desk space in my office, so I wanted something affordable that I can use for managing my mic access. It’s very easy to adjust sound volume, and switch between my desk speakers and music. Perfect for gaming, using Discord, and watching movies on my computer. I really enjoy this item and would recommend this for someone looking for Podcast Management equipment!

The audio monitoring is bad.

I purchased this audio interface to get something a little more portable than my Behringer Xenyx Q802 USB. My Q802 is also old and my dogs kinda messed it up a little. I purchased this because is it had a good price point. There are features that I really like... however. All of the audio that I run through this is controlled by the monitor knob. There is no way to independently control the audio from you computer and your Mic monitoring. In addition there seems to be a 10-15 ms delay for the mic monitoring that is absolutely distracting. The reason the delay in the mic monitoring is so detrimental, is because it makes it hard to actually tune this thing to my voice to make sure that my outgoing product is good. I can't properly put reverb in, and I can't properly adjust my EQ because of this annoying delay. The built in noise gate is nice and the EQ adjustments are good, but there seems to be a huge oversite to the Streamer/Content Creator use. Mic monitoring and pc audio, should never be tied to each other. And in addition the delay on the mic monitoring needs to be addressed. I have a $50 Behringer uphoria that has a better mic monitoring hooked up to my PS4.

Overall, the product is not bad enough to send back, again, it has some good features, but the focus seemed to be in flashy gimmicks instead of audio control.

Not bad for basic use.

I am not an expert sound engineer, but I know enough to know good from bad. This device is good for what it is - beginner's use. If you are looking to get started with a podcast, this will get you there.

I spent enough time with it to know what I like and what I do not.

Here is what I like:

1. It is a portable, rechargeable unit.

2. It is rechargeable via USB-C.

3. Decent sound and recording quality.

4. Multi microphone/aux-in input....(but sadly, only one XLR input)

5. Bluetooth connectivity....(but only one BT device at a time)

6. Easily recognized in Win11.

Here is what I did not like:

1. User manual was sparse. Recommend watching the video on their website, which explains in more detail how to use certain features, then playing with it for a few hours.

2. The programmable sound buttons are not able to be loaded with edited sound clips. You have to time your aux-in recording to the button with a little guessing. There is no fine tuning or "exact button press" when it begins the recording. It just starts 3 seconds after you initially push the button and begins flashing. This is perhaps my biggest complaint.

3. The controls are not particularly "fine tuners". The difference between "low" and "full" is hard to tell sometimes. The pre-programmed reverb options are nearly indistinguishable to my ear.

4. The USB-C for computer interface does not charge the device, that is done through a separate USB-C port.

5. Only one XLR input.

6. USB mic's are not supported, though that is clearly known and stated, I would still like to see that as a feature.

Bottom line: For the price, it is a fine beginner's tool. If you read all the reviews, it is easy to see - no one really hates this thing, everyone likes it - it just leaves you wanting all it offers and then a little more.

Good interface, wish it had 2 XLR ports

This is a great quality and well made audio interface. It had a bunch of different options that are great for audio production. The knobs have a satisfying feel when turning them. With the XLR input it also has 48V phantom power built in. I like that it has a built in battery so you don’t need to have it constantly plugged in. It also charges with USB-C which is great.

There’s a couple things I don’t like:

1. I wish it had 2 XLR inputs for 2 mics instead of one being a 3.5mm port.

2. The buttons sometimes don’t react to a press unless you apply extra pressure to them.

Other than those 2 gripes, it’s a well made audio interface that works very well and is easy to use once you get the hang of it.

For all ages.

The Audia Interface is very easy to set it up. The instructions provided were very easy to follow. The E2 has some modifications from the previous version. It doesn't look very confusing to me. I thought it came with a microphone when I looked at to the video installation. It has great quality sounds. I use a condenser Microsoft for my live stream with it. This podcast audio Interface can be used by anyone. No experience needed. I really like it, and I will recommend it to my peers.

Cool , but not the most user friendly

This is a wonderful tool for Podcasters, and musicians who are looking to do their own recording.

Something worth mentioning is you will have to buy the cord to connect ANY EXTERNAL MIC separately (and for each mic you connect) also the soundboard is not exactly what I anticipated.

It is more for if you want to record your own sounds you can Bluetooth input your own sounds -

though I was unable to figure this feature out as the drivers and YouTube videos I was able to find to input your own sounds to the soundpad were more for other models ~ so I'm not sure if this model just doesn't utilize that method of uploading ,

but I would've loved to be able to just upload them via connection to the computer.

I also wanted to be able to integrate this into OBS and found it to be particularly difficult to figure out..

As in 2 hrs in , I gave up.

Usually I am pretty tech savvy and can figure things like this out even if I'm unfamiliar initially.

I honestly left this feeling frustrated and like maybe this is just more technical and for someone more audio-tech oriented.

Like I said - Podcasters and musicians I see TONS of uses for something like this, however if you're looking for a sort of stream deck equivalent,

you may want to look elsewhere.

Feature Packed

This console is truly feature packed. If you are starting out podcasting, as I am, this will make your life easier. All the controls you need to mix the sound and get the sound right are contained in this one small unit. You can output to your phone, tablet, or even a computer - but you don't need a computer to use this.

My background in sound is from the audio booths in television - so I thought I could just start up and everything would make sense, but no, read the manual!

The Aux and Output knobs are very smooth and have enough travel to have very fluid adjustments. The Aux is where you control the background music or inputs, including bluetooth inputs. Directly below that is where you control the mic levels. The Output is where you control the overall levels of all inputs.

It has many level monitors so you can see if any input is too hot. The soundpad in the center allows you to record 20 second sound effects and if you use the A B C buttons, it allows for a 1 minute recording time - perfect for intro's and outro's.

The 2 monitor inputs are at the front which are very convenient. It has Auto Tune and good reverb controls. It is light and portable. This is a solid buy.

Excellent podcast console, especially for beginners

A friend of mine started a podcast, which kind of made me want to test the waters myself when it comes to podcasting. After watching some online tutorials and reviews about this console I decided to get it myself.

The console is portable, battery operated, although it can still be used while charging. Based on what I’ve read, this is an upgraded version with some important changes when it comes to using microphones, and monitoring each of them.

The console can be used with XLR microphone, USB-C or 3.5mm microphones. The XLR microphone can be phantom powered as well. Each microphone can be monitored independently.

There are a good variety of output and input connections, for live streaming, reference speakers, etc. It can be operated with mobile devices and with computers. Since this is a battery operated console, and capable of being used with smartphones and/or tablets, this makes it portable, allowing you to use it on the go anywhere you want. This brings me to one impressing feature which is the noise canceling. As you will hear in the included video, I switched from my phone’s audio while I was recording the video to the console’s audio, the noise reduction is amazing.

Also, another feature I really like is the auto volume adjustment while music is playing on the background. Once you start speaking, the music will get lower to allow your voice be heard, and as soon as you stop talking the music volume will go back up.

In general there are many other features that can help anyone create great quality content with ease. I can definitely recommend this console.
