Simple install. Holds up well. Quality board.

Easy setup. Nice writing surface. Works great with the Maxtek neon glass markers. I like how it has a small gap (~ 3/4") in the back and doesn't sit flat on the fall in case you wanted to run wires or clip a small light to the board. Shout out to the people involved in the packaging, shipping, and delivery process. This board is glass and I was thinking it was going to arrive damaged somehow.

Exactly what you’re looking for

Came with the needed mounting hardware and a stencil for wall placement. I hung it by myself but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Two people and a drill could get this knocked out in 15 minutes

BEWARE: GARBAGE SCREWS

The screws provided are the worst screws I've ever worked with. They are so soft they strip immediately.

Such a small thing to cheap out on ultimately wasted hours of my time and completely ruined my experience.

Go with a different manufacturer or go to the hardware store to get your own screws before installing.

Chic but no magnetic ability

4/5 because although it is beautiful and looks so chic and clean, the magnetic ability stinks. We can’t get any magnet to stick to the board.

Looks nice, easy to install, The only issue I have with this one at this moment is damage on the glass

Fine board, but it’s a bit of work to install it.

It’s a bit of work to install it. You’ll need a drill, 1/4” drill bit, a level (I did it with a 24” but would have been much easier with a 36”), a tape measure, a Phillips screwdriver, and two people. It requires precision-located holes to be drilled, as there is very little margin for error.

The “template” it came with was an unmarked piece of low-weight paper which wasn’t cut square, I found it to be completely useless. I had to measure to the exact location of each screw, and when I say no margin for error, your holes can’t be off by more than 1/16”. It took about 30 minutes to hang it and I’m somewhat handy.

The board itself seems sturdy. It gives a bit with any pressure but it didn’t impact my writing. Writing on it is easy. The black and blue markers work very well. The red ink isn’t concentrated enough so it does not show up well. The eraser works well. The tray seems solid and looks fine. 5 magnets were included, it took all 5 of them to hold up a sheet of paper that didn’t sag. It says to use neodymium magnets if you want to use it for that. Standard magnets will not hold anything to this board.

I rate 3-star because it needs a proper marked template with predrilled holes for marking the wall, made of heavier stock, and it’s a comparatively huge job without a useful template.

If you can get it installed, it seems like a fine board to me.

Looked Great

Came into my office and it looks like the white is all blotchy. Can’t return it now because I have to have a box and I don’t have it because it looked good when I installed it.

High quality

The quality of this board is exceptional. This board is what I would expect to see in an executive conference room, it looks fantastic. The board comes with everything to mount, and it's a matter of a few screws.

The board came with a bag of magnets, an eraser and markers. The picture I took was using the markers straight out of the package. You can see that the markers darken up as they're used. You can see the bottom "N" has been wiped on one side with the eraser and the great job it did with one swipe. This board is a little more expensive up front, but the longevity makes this a great value.

Fantastic Board

We were looking for an erase board for our treatment room and came across this one. The glass look is great and definitely makes it stand out vs a regular board with metal edges. The writing is smooth and erases easily. Magnetic capabilities are great for posting quick notes/flyers too. Everyone has complimented it. We installed easily with provided anchors-board is heavy but very worth it.

Beautiful glass whiteboard

I ha my husband come to my office to hang the whiteboard. It comes with a large piece of brown thick butcher type paper. This is to be used to mark the holes from the board and transfers to the wall to make the correct hole placement. This process definitely takes more than one person. Use a level to make sure the sheet is level before making the holes. Insert the hardware into the wall. Have at least one extra person available to hold the glass while the other person places the top screws. That is really all there is to having this.

Writing on the board can be done with dry erase markers, but liquid chalk looks best. I ordered a heavy magnet marker holder. I am using the tray that came with it, but like the extra storage. Magnets will only work if they are specifically the high magnet rare earth ones. Regular magnets just are not strong enough to hold anything.

BARELY Magnetic

The price of this board was much less than competitors and now I know why. First, installation was awful. Both my husband and I are engineers, in shape and arguably considered physically strong. It was a struggle with both of us, to get this up. The instructions are a bare minimum and one key thing that should be mentioned is that the screw alignment WILL be off for the remaining screws until the first screws are tightened down fully. This is important to note bc typically it is recommended to only tighten down screws once all are engaged and hand-tight. Also I am not sure if the thread profile of the screws is to blame or perhaps the material of the screws, but they were very hard to twist into the pegs. They kept cross-threading or getting stuck. There is very little knob head to grip when twisting, which was another issue. We ended up lubing the screws with a little pencil graphite which helped some.

Regardless of the installation issues, once the board was up, I started noticing little defects- surface scratches, the backing gaps around the screw holes. This is perhaps nit-picky and not the end of the world. The big “ugh” for me though is the lack of magnetic strength. I knew going into it that the magnets provided would not perform, but even after grabbing ridiculously strong magnets from the fridge, they barely stick to the board by themselves. Trying to hold a single sheet of paper they slide a few inches down before finally coming to a stop.

The packaging of the board is great. This thing arrived in one piece. The plastic pen tray arrived with light scratches and a chip in the edge. I haven’t decided if I will use it yet or not.

The included markers work fine but I did purchase liquid chalk markers which show up very vibrantly. The included red is a smidge translucent, but not terrible. The tips are very thick and not good for detail. For comparison the chalk markers purchased separately are 3mm and 1mm.

When erasing the center of the board, it flexes a little which is scary. I have not used the provided eraser. I purchased cleaner and a microfiber which has been erasing cleanly without ghosting or too much force being required.

If the magnetic attraction was stronger, I could over-look everything else. As it stands, I would not recommend the board.

Safe Packaging

My whiteboard came in today! Packaging kept it safe and I was able to bring it into my office without any issues. There was a substance stuck to the front of the glass, maybe glue and some scratches beneath it. I was able to remove glue. I am a little bummed about the scratches but also don’t think it’s worth returning over. I haven’t hung up the whiteboard yet so pray for me with installation … will update after!

Chose to go ledger boards over plastic anchors

This is a heavy piece of glass. The anchors that it comes with should really be thrown away. It seems best to use thin strips of strong wood as ledger boards and attach them across the studs, then screw a temporary plank in under all that to prop the glass up while you screw it into the ledgers. The thing is going nowhere now and is super stable. The marker holder is junk and did not adhere well, so will not be using it. The holes do no align with standard stud widths, which was the most frustrating part since the board is really heavy. Because of the odd measurements and hole placements, such as things like 1/16 inch offsets, all the measuring to have this mounted perfectly was a challenge. Now that it is up, it will be very useful and looks good. I had to invest in strong magnets and board spray. Tissues with spray seem to work better that the dry eraser. I notices an imperfection in the corner of the board once it was up, but it would be too much of a hassle to exchange to fix that since it is very hairline.

Edit: HELPFUL SELLER! - Gorgeous but HEAVY AS HECK, needs tweaks.

Edit: I am updating my review from 3 to 4 stars for the seller’s excellent customer service. Given my feedback they reached out to discuss the product with me, how they can improve, and worked out a refund with me. They mentioned that going forward they will reach out to the factory about including a paper template with the drill holes for ease of installation. Hopefully they do! Thank you.

Original review:

Looks lovely and can confirm that works with heavy duty neodymium magnets. Love the accessories it comes with.

Unfortunately even with help I almost threw my back out trying to mount this, mostly because I had to physically hold it up to the wall to figure out where to drill the anchors. And after hours of work I still got it a couple degrees not level ):

SELLER please please PLEASE include a paper stencil with holes for mounting! Also, I would recommend providing bigger + stronger anchors for drywall.

The screw mount cover caps say to “squeeze” into place but that’s ridiculous & prevents access to the screws if I need to make adjustments. Instead I used 4 tiny magnets to keep the caps attached to the mounts, no problem.

Love the accessories it came with, especially the dry eraser which is compact, cute, and magnetic. The acrylic marker tray is also nice.

Seller was meticulous with how carefully the board was packed and labeled, had no issues with any breakage during shipment.

Looks great, was easy to install, good value

Overall happy with this white board. It arrived quickly, took less than 15 minutes to install, and looks great. I installed it vertically and preferred the slightly smaller width than the name brand, so that’s why I chose this board. Only minor complaint would be the small discoloration spot on one of the edges. It’s not really noticeable and I placed the tray and magnets over it anyway. The magnets seem strong enough. I folded a piece a paper so it was four layers thick and one magnet held on the board just fine. The markers also seem to work well.

It’s only ok for what we want it for (see video)

Regular magnets DO NOT STICK. So- it’s not ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ for what WE wanted it for. It’s fine as far as ez installation and cleaning. But, I bought two of the boards as home decor to put side by side. Plan was to hang pictures of friends and family vacations/visits to our house and encourage visitors to sign/write on/ leave messages. It included a few magnets with it, so I bought a 20 pack of additional magnets. Regular magnets/even the ones I bought that say “extra strong” don’t work on the glass boards (?!?!)

Regular “fridge” magnets fall right off, too. Had to buy a pack of plain black industrial strength 1/2” round magnets to use and glued decorative tops on them. We still like the boards, they’re just weak magnetically. (4x6 pics aren’t heavy)

Fantastic board! Use your own anchors.

Overall this board looks fantastic, very visually appealing and cleans off great. Far superior upgrade to my little old metal one. It is metal backed so technically you can use magnets on it as in my picture but even the strongest magnets I could find tend to slip on it unless the surface is pristine. I suggest really cleaning it behind the holders if you want to prevent any magnetic holders from sliding down.

It does come with a 3M sticky marker tray but I opted to go with the magnetic cup and a magnetic eraser instead.

The only complaint really for me is that the plastic drywall anchors that came with it are really shoddy. I suggest not using them and using your own. Two of mine wanted to spin in place despite using the instructed bit size. Changed em out for two I got from the hardware store and those were perfect.

A Most Excellent Purchase!

I bought two of these 3 ft. x 2 ft. glass whiteboards to stack in order to take advantage of the only wall space left in my office. I was flabbergasted at how well they were packed for shipping by the company. The delivery company (UPS) punctured the boxes during shipment, so I feared the glass boards were damaged. My fears were unfounded. These glass whiteboards are the newer design, with the mounting holes within the glass, rather than support brackets, so it was easier to stack them. I did not use the plastic tray to store markers that comes with each board, attachable by 3M sticky tape. The magnets that came with it are strong enough to hold a piece of normal paper on the board, though I wish the colors of the magnets were stainless or silver, to match the mounting hardware. The supplied markers worked well, and I purchased extra of the EXPO brand, which also worked well.

It takes TWO people to install the glass boards so that you can ensure that the holes line up properly. I used some of the enclosed protective cardboard to make a template because that cardboard was the exact size of the glass boards. I drew the holes on the cardboard that corresponded to the holes in the glass, put a center mark on the cardboard with pencil, and then held it up to the wall to mark where I needed to drill. Holding cardboard in place was easier than trying to hold the heavy glass board up to the wall to mark whiteboard placement, and minimizes the risk of damage. Wall anchors came in the package; however, to be extra safe, we used more heavy-duty ones we had on hand that fit the supplied screws. These glass whiteboards exceeded my expectations, and so did the company's careful packaging! Do not be afraid to buy them just because they are glass. I imagine these will last a very long time and will not have residual marker coloring over time, like traditional whiteboards.

Worth the cost

So more better looking than your regular whiteboard. Fastenings are a little loose how I installed it, so the board shook every time i wrote on it. Solved by sticking some tissue paper behind it.

Great value for money

I chose this glass whiteboard because

1. It looks more elegant than a usual whiteboard

2. It has the fixing parts on the edge so they don't get in the way when you're writing. Usual glass boards have the fixings in the corner and it reduces the writing area.

Mounting the whiteboard is a 2 person job but we did it in less than 10 min.

Pros:

It looks elegant, comes with a practical mini shelf to store pens and sponge and is easy to clean. Plus the above mentioned position of the fixings makes it more practical than other glass whiteboards

Cons:

The red marker is not as visible as I would want it to be but maybe it's just this particular one. I also don't understand why the magnets that we're included had to be pink and not a more neutral colour.

Instructors, you need this in your classroom.

Very easy to install, easy to clean and I prefer the glass over the traditional white boards. There's no residue and you can clean it with Windex or if needed, acetone.

Looks very nice and fancy

I am a middle school teacher. I have a big whiteboard in my classroom. I needed a small whiteboard to write some announcements and lesson objectives. It’s my first time using glass whiteboard. I would say the original whiteboards are better than glass because writing with marker looks better on original whiteboards. But I like this product too. It’s so nice and looks fancy to have a glass whiteboard. I have not install it yet but it doesn’t look like difficult task. You need a drill to put it on the wall.

Great purchase if glass is for you

Glass is not the same as standard whiteboard. Understand the differences.

Pros for glass:

- it cleans much easier

- never gets the perma-ghosting stains

Cons for glass:

- markers don't show up quite as well

- glare is more of a factor

As for this board in particular, it's certainly worth the cost. The mounting hardware is adequate if a little ungainly. It comes with three markers, a couple pink magnets, and a magnetic eraser. Note: the distance between the writing surface and the metal backing (thickness of glass) necessitates strong magnets. Even the eraser that comes with the board has a tendency to slide off. Even so, this is a whiteboard. If you want to stick things to your wall, consider a cork board. (-:

Great board for darts “chalking/marking”

Bought the excellent glass board for the sole purpose of scoring dart games when friends are over. Writes very clearly and wipes off perfectly, so it’ll always look brand new. Can’t recommend this glass board enough.

Heavy duty and chic

I wanted a whiteboard that didn't look like cheap and this one is great! It's very heavy (duty) and easy to understand how to hang although you'll need two people. I like the silver hanging pieces, makes it even more chic. Now to start using it for work in my home office!

Update: You can't use normal magnets on it, you need heavy duty ones I guess to get through the glass. All my magnets just fall straight off. Also, very hard to see any writing except in black ink.
