Perfect adjustable accent piece
I needed these. Great for recording- and I find myself going to it more often than I thought I would. It is not overpowering in terms of sound. Perfect for timekeeping, accents etc. Lots of options for adjustability - to tweak it and garner different sounds. I use them fairly open for a unique somewhat sloshy stack sound. Tightened, sound like closed mini hats as you'd guess- medium dial gives a cool accented swish. I might experiment with it a bit, too- adding different 8" splashes I have. Great artist concept model- pricey (hard to part w that much cash) but needed for upcoming projects. Not disappointed at all- worked out perfectly. These crashers are staying in the arsenal- Ive sold too many things only to regret that later- these are keepers. Great work, Meinl and BG.
