Snapped putting it on a slipper after a few days…. Mienl needs to secure it btterer.

It was great until the cheap straps and staples broke. Mienl, why would you make a decision like this, staples in plastic, for something that is supposed to go over shoes? I played bare foot until I decided to put on slippers then it snapped. I’m really starting to question o f quality of Meinl as this is my second purchase in three days from their vendor that failed upon or quickly after delivery. It’s a higher end budget product but come on.

Design flaw: Breaks extremely quickly

This tambourine sounds great. Unfortunately, it will fall apart on you. My first one lasted a few months. I bought a second one which lasted 2-3 hours of playing before breaking.

There's a design flaw where the pins that hold the jingles will slip, and then the jingles will fall out. Often in the middle of your performance. This has happened to both of my tambourines. I don't recommend this tambourine if you want something that will last more than a single performance.

Update: To make it worse, I contacted Meinl about this product, to get a replacement for the one that lasted a few hours. They offered to send a replacement, but 8 months later they haven't shipped it. Absolutely terrible customer service from what I thought was a high quality company.

Great percussion practice piece!

Love this little portable foot tambourine that has ground sound and simple to use.

Cheap garbage

The strap is "attached" by a tiny staple into the plastic body. One of the staples pulled out the instant I tried to put in on my foot. This is the cheapest piece of garbage I think I've ever seen.

Broken strap

Strap was broken on delivery. They’re just staples on the body with what looks like paper-quality staples.

Honest Opinion

Great invention - Worked perfect for me!

I am loving this. Shoul practice more. For some reason I am better with my right foot.

I also tried it on my (doum) wrist and it worked great. I bought 2 of these with idea to use on both feet or foot/wrist combination. I am glad I did.

Silly and fun for a beat boxer

My musician giggled when he opened this for Christmas. He tried to guess all month long what this present was. We also gave him a cajon. Little ones love running around with it strapped on their feet. I think it would be perfect for a preschool teacher’s instrument collection.

Horrible construction quality, falls apart with a quickness.

I have had so many of these pieces of garbage fall apart mid-set over the past couple of years. There is nothing quite like buying two foot tambourines right before a gig and watching both of them come flying apart by the end... jingles flying everywhere. I just kept buying them because it's all my local music shop has in stock. I wish Meinl was as embarrassed about this product as I was when the things fell apart in the middle of a song at a show. This product is so bad that I would go back to duct-taping a regular tambourine to my foot before I purchase one. I guess I'll try the LP version now.
