My (22 month old) son loves it but it is terrible to read since it's so repetitive. (Probably why he likes it so much!) Fun pictures and he loves pushing the buttonsand hearing the fun snappy popping sound.

My daughter loves these poke-a-dot books and the five little monkeys book is no exception! The poke-a-dots are super interactive and can be used during independent time which I love. However, the book is very heavy, but I can understand why because the pages are thick to hold the pop materials. Overall, very unique and gets used frequently in our house!

The binding is bad. I bought one of these previously and it fell apart over a few months. I was hoping it was just that one book, but I just opened this book out of the package and the binding is already falling apart without being used.

My 1 year old LOVES this book, but the pages were stuck together upon arrival and caused it to peel when we opened it the first time.

I requested a replacement for a book because the pop buttons didn’t work, and I was giving an extremely used falling apart book in place of the newer book. Extremely upset!!!!

I was very hopeful for these books after seeing a tiktok about someone's child not being able to take them apart. I have couple of toddlers and after 3 weeks these books are being held together with packing tape and have completely fallen apart.

Love the book, love the concept, however because of the weight of the book it pulls apart from the seam easily. I was also disappointed that the last bit of the song wasn't in the book. Where momma calls the doctor and the doctor says, "put those monkeys back to bed!". Which is my son's favorite part of the song. Yes I can just add it, but I was looking for him to be able to read it.

Purchased the 10 little monkeys jumping on the bed. Cute book my 3yo enjoys poking each pop and counting along. It is a heavy thick book. Can’t review the longevity of the book we’ve only had it a week, but so far so good.

Terrible product. Opened the package for the binding of the book detached and flip to the back cover to a sticky note saying "damaged." Do not purchase.

I want to love this book as it is fun and attractive to my toddler. HE LOVES IT; BUT I can get over the fact that it is too thick for its binding. Don’t get me wrong, the thickness of the book is fantastic, and normally I wouldn’t address it as a negative feature, but this book definitely needs more than just glue to hold the heavy board pages together.
I bough this book from my local toy store and since the first day my son played with it; we have been glueing and taping pages back on to the binding.
Not a good quality of product, not a book that I would recommend based on the poor quality of the binding.

My daughters BOTH loved this book when we got it about 2 months ago.. they loved poking all the dots on the monkeys bellies but after about 2 weeks the binding started to split away and the first and last pages are peeling away from the cover.. my 2 yr old still uses it but constantly asks me to "fix it" and my 4yr old ASD daughter loses it everytime she sees it's coming apart so she cant be calm enough to even finish the 1st page.. I want to buy another one so my oldest can still use it but I feel it would be a waste of money and this might happen again so I will not be buying another one to replace this one.. the rest of the pages are fine and if it weren't for the front and back pages I would say this book is very sturdy and well worth it but I only give it 2 out of 5 stars for the binding

My son absolutely loves this book but as others have stated the binding is terrible. After not even 2 months it began falling apart and just continues to crumble. I was debating buying a different one hoping mine was just a fluke, but after reading other reviews this is a common issue. For over $10 for a book, I can’t justify it for it only lasting a couple months.

There were so many of these cute books to choose from. I decided on 10 Little Monkeys to help with counting. It does start with 10 and works down to one. For counting purposes they do not all climb back into bed… It just ends with one falling off.
On the top right corner is the number so they can both see and hear it.
I agree that this book will not be durable for little kids to read by themselves. I love books so our books are not toys. My 2yr old has a few board books that he can read by himself that are slowly getting ruined. But the rest we read together or supervised.
We bought this book for $12.99. I would not pay any more for it, due to the fact that it would not last long unsupervised with toddlers.
I do believe it is durable enough to survive a five year old and up (Who understands how to take care of Books )
The binding is not connected to the back so it can move easily without breaking the binding, and the pages are cardboard thick.
We will likely buy another one.

This is my second copy of this book. I had a copy from a few years ago that got warn out. I am disappointed in the lower quality in this book (once Melissa and Doug picked up this series in books they must have changed). The binding has torn and I have only been using it for 2 months now. I have the old McDonald version from the old manufacturer that I have been using for over a year and the binding has not torn. I love these books but will not be buying more if the quality does not improve. I guess I can tape it but I should not have to even think about that. I would have given this book 5 stars with the old manufacturer. On the other hand, the book is a great tool for learning to count. It’s educational and keeps kids engaged as they can look forward to popping when the page is done.
