THIS IS a solidly built radio that does everything it promises and does it well. There is only one thing missing, and you don't find out until page 2 of the brochure, "The AC adapter is not included in the package." The radio functions well with the Built-in Rechargeable Battery and its two methods of recharge, solar panel or hand crank; or the AAA batteries .Hiwever, if you want to kept fully charged and plugged in until you need it., you have to purchase an AC adapter.. At least they tell you what you need ibu purchase. Other than that, I really like it.

We got this for emergency purposes. This hand crank radio is the perfect size to carry incase we need to evacuate. I love that there are multiple ways to charge this up- there is the solar or hand crank. The radio is clear and it can charge a phone. This was a smart buy.

I bought this is November 2025, and as of May 2026 I can report that it absolutely works as its core function: a weather radio. We had a tornado touch down, I knew bad weather was forecasted today so I turned it on earlier in the day. As soon as the tornado warning went out this thing went ballistic, it threw a siren and started flashing a very bright red light, all while reporting the weather band read outs. So there we are in the basement, because this thing worked. Grat product, I reccomend it.

Really neat features. My husband love the several weather band channels

Small but large enough. Has nice volume, can get many stations, and the light is bright. Purchased for emergency in the event of power grid going down. I also like the fact it can be recharged via solar. It also runs on three AAA battery’s along with a hang crank charge. Came with adapter but no plug hub to plug in. I have many so it was no problem.

Works as expected. Smart purchase. Timing is everything!

Only had it for a few days got it for the winter storm and day 2 of using the crank to charge and it not charging my phone in the said "3 minutes of cranking to charge" not only that got to only got to crank this twice once on the day the power went out then the second day aka today where the crank broke off while I was winding it is easy to use and the size is alright and the radio runs pretty good in the 3 minutes of cranking I only received around 3 to 5 percent back and it even lead to my phone being drained from 8% to 0% I'd recommend making the crank thicker as of how thin it was it broke

This is a life changer to many people like my family who live in another country and lose electric power frequently. Love the design. Have everything you need, lights, alarm, radio and more. Worth it.

Very nice little emergency radio. It does everything the description says. It feels sturdy, has some weight to it, and all the knobs and switches have a quality feel to them. Highly recommend.

Love the flashlights it is like a spot light.
The radio ..the speaker is very clear.
Charge fast.
My only complaint is you won't know how many still charge left. It is only one red one green light
Highly recommend.

This radio has everything you need for emergency and non-emergency situations! It came fully charged right out of the box and with a charging cord. LED flashlight, 9 bands AM/FM radio with great sound and 7 pre-programmed emergency alert channels with an SOS button. The solar panel is on the back and is a good size, flips out and is adjustable to the sunlight. Crank for generating power is on the bottom if you are out of battery or electric power and the carrying strap is sturdy on the top with the antenna tucked in below. 3 different size inputs and an audio input are on the side. It is well made, compact for portability and camping. Where I live when the power is out it is a very handy radio to keep in touch with weather alerts. I was without power for 2 weeks during the Helene storm! There are many any uses for this radio!

If you’re looking for an emergency radio that delivers when you need it, the CR1030 offered by Mesqool is an excellent choice. With 7 NOAA Weather Bands and AM/FM you’ve got access to the latest news and weather reports. It’s built solid – this is no cheaply built knockoff! And don’t worry about running out of power as it offers 6 different ways to charge the radio, including solar, batteries (both AAA and rechargeable) and a powerful cranking handle. Built in features include ports to charge your phone or tablet, flashlight, reading lamp, and an SOS alert siren that can be heard for miles. My only issue is I wish the AM/FM dial was backlit for easy use at night. The bottom line - this one sits in my house ready to help me when the next hurricane hits us here in central Florida! And the price is right.

I really love this awesome emergency AM/FM radio. It is so cool. You can use solar power, batteries or the hand crank to power this must-have tool. It even has a little flashlight and charging ports to charge your phone if necessary. I'm so glad I have this. I live in Florida and it is hurricane season. I feel so much better knowing I have this on hand. I think every family should own one.

Lots of features in this little radio - I was impressed. The one feature I wish it had was an alert feature for severe weather but it does not. However, you can choose from the seven NOAA bands for the one closest to you and the sound quality is okay. The reception was good outside with the antenna up but it might take some adjusting of the antenna to get it right if you live a ways from the transmitting tower.
The great features are that it has a built in battery that charges with a USB-C cord, but you can also charge that battery with a hand crank or with solar. The solar is meantore as a maintainer than a full charger, but it has the capability. It also has the option for regular batteries that you install, so you can use regular batteries and then have the built in battery as a backup. There is an SOS feature, a flashlight, and a reading light on the back of the solar panel. It does receive am/fm radio signals, although this is a small radio and the speaker is a little lacking for music, although it isn't terrible. But that's not it's main purpose, so no big deal.
This is really a camp radio. It's very lightweight and is clearly a cheaply built radio, but it gets the job done and is as described, so still worth five stars, mostly for the features, not the build. Good radio!

Great tool to have on hand for emergencies. Multiple power sources are great! First time I’ve seen one with rechargeable batteries, solar/usb/hand crank for recharging AND a place for regular batteries. Easy switch selector to find NOAA weather stations. Much easier than dialing an analog tuner.

This emergency radio is smaller than it appears in the description, and that's a good thing. The small size makes this perfect for putting in an emergency go bag or for putting in an emergency supply kit. It has a solar panel to charge the built-in 12,000mAH battery, or you can charge it via USB-C. It has USB-C and USB-A outputs for charging other devices, and the built-in solar panel means that you will not have to worry about recharging it during a power outage. It also has a hand crank in the event that you are unable to use the solar panel, as well as the ability to run off of three AAA batteries. The sound from the speaker gets plenty loud and the AM/FM radio tuner picks up stations loud and clear. I also had no issues picking up a few different weather stations with the built-in WX tuner. The flashlight is bright but the beam focus is a little narrow and you cannot adjust it, however there is a second area light on the back of the solar panel. It also has a built-in SOS alarm that is quite loud and would be very handy if you needed to signal rescuers.
