Not worth it to buy anymore...

April 4th was the day that all the other apps disappeared off there and now it's just a Facebook webcam device. Just not worth it now to get it. You have a phone? Well it does waaaaay more than this product now.

So great, I had to buy 2 more!

Perfect for videocalling. I was able to connect it to Alexa too! I purchased one, then purchased two more as gifts for family. I wish the price was still at $49.99 though!

META Portal

Easy to setupp and use on a TV. We use it for virtual exercise group and taling with friends and family.

Complete Garbage!

This device has never worked properly. I constantly had to restart, refresh to factory settings, and re-enter all information. It currently will not link to WhatsApp. It will not show my contacts and if you click on the contacts tab it will flash and go back to the main screen.

The remote control has to be constantly reconnected to the device (if you can get it to do so). The portal refuses to recognize the remote control at times as well and this leaves the device completely unusable.

I would recommend purchasing this garbage device if you enjoy being frustrated. One star rating is too high for this.

Good performance FB TV Portal

We don't use on cell phones as we bought to use on TV so that we could get better views and feel.just like we are together. Like it a lot and have used more than on Thanksgiving (got just before) and Christmas. So nice to share my day with part of family ( others not have yet)

I did not rate Alexa as we both have Google speakers which work with system well. Mine is actually a JBL speaker. I give it an A! Happy to have in this time of mostly isolation and being a widow.

The best thing to video calling on your tv!!!!

Thank you Facebook Portal I can video call my family overseas. I set up Portal in 5 minutes. The only thing took litlle longer was the update ( no big deal ).

I got mines today. I have the 10' in my office but I wanted one in my family room. I love it. A great buy!!

Great new way to keep in touch with friends and family

Having spent more than 8 weeks at home and what feels like weeks of holding the phone up for video phone calls with family members the portal TV is an amazing relief. I can make calls directly from it over WhatsApp or Facebook messenger. The camera quality is amazing, there is no lag in video/audio. The one thing I missed is that while the camera follows you around the room if my one-year old walks up close to the screen, as kids will do when they see people on the screen, the camera can't see her any more. If you were buying it for your kids to be able to talk to their grand-parents etc, don't buy this unless your kids are old enough to understand that they can't step up to the camera. Otherwise it is a great gadget.
