Awesome little transmitter, battery didn’t make connection out of box

Pretty awesome little radio. 8 model memory, nice screen with all needed information, tons of options, button mapping works, binds to hotrc/rlaarlo (non dumbo style) receivers. Out of the box the battery wasn’t making connection to the door and wouldn’t turn on, so I docked it a star. I added a little blob of solder to build it up and works fine. I bound it to a rlaarlo omni terminator. Works as it should, controls the lights and gyro as it should. The menus make sense. I used the button mapping to put steering trim on the dial next to the wheel. I enclosed a quick video. You can long press the roller for gyro adjustment without having to go through all the menus, and how to map the dial for steering trim. I’ll be ordering a few more, I have a lot of cars and I like this one the best of the cheap transmitters with cheap receivers.

Doesn’t work for redcat ascent or typhoon grom

Product didn’t come with an instruction manual. Every video on YouTube is about the controller. Not about how to connect receiver and esc. Will be sending this back to get my money back. Couldn’t install receiver to any of my rc cars because none of the plug match.

Excellent transmitter at this price. Extra receivers are cheap too. Great value.

I've had this radio for several months, and I can't complain about anything. Great value, feels like it's built pretty well, good battery life, lots of features. It's great. Would be better if it held more than 8 models.

Just get it it's not that expensive and will work for what u need

Works perfectly for what I'm doing little confusing on how to set it up but once you read it a few times you'll understand and good things I can use this on other vehicles too

This System Is Dangerous!

This thing is dangerous! I decided to upgrade from my old flysky and radiolink systems, this remote fit all of my requirements so i ordered it and several M-06AT recievers, I tryed them out on three different models, my crawler immediately started overheating the servos, so i tryed it on my slash 4x4, not only did the steering servos go crazy but so did the throttle, thinking I made some kind of mistake, I swapped back to the flysky and everything was fine. The video shows me trying it on my E-Revo and as you see, it is scary. I will be putting all of this stuff away and going back to what wont hurt me, my pets, or someone else

Must have .. best bang for the buck

Love this remote i use it on all kinds of stuff .. only compliant is directions are not the best.. but yes you can adjust literally every thing if you know what remotes do then you will figure it out but ... Meus make better directions or make better on line i had to go to you tube college to see how to adjust and videos on there are limited .. but with that said i use ut in a crawler all the time i use it in my arma felony and .. it has so many diff controls .. i just used used ut for the first time in a air boat i had 3d printed .. simply awesome !!! Scrolling thru menu one day on it i seen boat controls .. amongst it tank controls .. hmm ?? I have dropped the remote but in grass and worked .. it fits my hand and feels pretty good .. love the fact you can changed the color of the display as well and its a nice screen

Wont-work with trx4m

You can't connect the receiver to a traxxas battery on trx4m and I can't find any solution also the throttle came stuck at 1551 and not 1500

Good but coulda been perfect !!

Great unit. I love the screen and all the functions it has a ton! The only downside is the bottom of the handle it should have been a base like almost all the others. I took a chance on it and I will keep it but man even they know they missed the mark with this one they already updated it to one with the appropriate base on it. I’ll probably buy that one next! Found a 3D print base for it !! Now it’s perfect best budget transmitter.

For $50 this controller is awesome. Lots of features and adjustability. Plus you can store multiple models in it. And it's small and easy to drive one handed

Nice controller with plenty of accessory channels

Very nice controller for upgrade or to replace a non functional or even just for a more visually appealing setup. Lots of channels on the receiver for accessories! Setup is a hair technical but not hard. Really like the included thumb control it is easy to reach for one hand driving which I do a lot of when crawling. Shipping was slow but not a deal breaker

Lots of potential

The good:

- All the features you need to go racing: trims/reverse, endpoint adjustment, model memory, and steering exponential.

- Some high-end stuff you wouldn’t expect: Adjustable trigger hook size and spring tension, TX calibration, telemetry, “trainer” mode, an auto-start timer, and an easily swappable rechargeable battery.

- Bonus stuff for drifters, crawlers, and bashers: lighting modes, gyros, channel mixes, one-handed steering nub, and excellent range.

The bad:

- The English translation in the menus and manual is not great. Some features may be confusing to set up.

- No “servo speed” feature to slow down a twitchy car or to reduce brake lockups.

- The buttons, switches, and knobs can pretty much only be used to control the additional channels, which is inconvenient if you’re a racer who only needs two. The dials are analog potentiometers, so if you bind them to trims or range, it’ll mess up your other model settings when you switch.

The ugly:

- The trigger hook sits proud of the face of the transmitter body, so if you lay it down on a flat surface, it’s going to get bumped and apply the throttle unexpectedly.

- Adjusting channel trims shifts the entire range of the servo, including the endpoints. This means you need to adjust the steering trim first to get the car tracking straight, then take it off the track and fix the travel.

I used it for a day of racing, and it performed admirably. The battery voltage telemetry actually helped me diagnose some problems with my car. I did end up making some basic ergonomic modifications over the course of the day, which I will post a picture of, but I really enjoyed the compact size and light weight.

Most of the issues I have with this radio could be fixed with a firmware update, except for the trigger bumping problem and the analog dials. Here’s hoping they continue to support this radio with updates in the future.

All in all, for $50, this radio offers a lot more for your money than some of the more expensive brands. I’m definitely going to pick up some more receivers and start using it more seriously.

Not a seamless translation among languages

There is a language barrier in some of the menus that can potentially get confusing. For the price it is totally worth the money/hassle. The screen plus the amount of adjustment make this a perfect budget remote with expensive functionality.
