The story of teamwork on the construction site! Review from a dad and 2 year old

Storyline: 5/5 - This story is about the construction team working on a brand new skyscraper. The five trucks realize that they need a lot of help to get the job done and they call for help. A whole bunch of other trucks come and save the day. Each truck teams up with one of the new trucks. I love the fact that the characters are both male and female.

Words: 4/5 - My son loves the rhymes and has memorized parts of the book. The author did a good job with using simple and advanced words. My son often asks what does this word mean and it’s a good lesson.

Artwork: 5/5 - We love the artwork and drawings. It’s fun and has a Cars look to it where each truck has a face and there's lots of expressions. There are lots of details that my son notices too.

Lesson: 5/5 - This book teaches a great lesson about teamwork and collaboration.

Verdict: 5/5 - YES!! We love this book and it is part of our regular rotation. We read it at least five times a week!

Reading tip - At the end of the story, I'll ask my son a few questions like what was his favorite part or what happened on the construction site.

Immediate favorite for little construction enthusiasts

Do you take your child to construction sites during the pandemic for entertainment? Then you need this book. My son’s favorite truck is the excavator, and as you see from the picture, he looks at this book and practices moving it.

We take long trips to grandparents, and this book is essential for keeping my 16 month old happy and entertained in his car seat. The noises aren’t too loud or too annoying. I highly recommend this book!

Torn cover upon arrival

I like the book, but it arrived with a badly torn cover sleeve. Purchased this as a gift unfortunately.

Fun read!

Wonderful illustrations and clever rhyming. Also recommend "Goodnight, goodnight..." by same author.

The book just arrived and we have been so excited. It arrived completely bent. Unacceptable.
