Works good for me.

This is a review for: MLOVE E80 Speakers Bluetooth Wireless, Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Aux Input, Micro SD Card Slot, Bass Up, TWS, RGB Lights, IPX7 Waterproof, BT5.4 for Outdoor, Car Music, Beach, Gifts, 30W, Black.

I ordered this for connecting through bluetooth to my phone. It does have a place for a Micro SD card but I have never tried to use it that way.

The controls on the speaker are easy to use. The speaker has a rechargeable battery and I've never had any problem with the battery life. I do however, have a bit of a problem with the light that indicates the battery is charging. It is a tiny light on the control panel of the speaker. I had to turn the speaker over a few times before I spotted the light. The same is true with the pairing. The light is so small I didn't realize it was trying to pair. I really wish they had made the light more noticable. The entire sides of the control panel and the ends light up when the speaker is on. Those lights you can't miss. Maybe they should have used these decorative lights for the pairing and charging.

The speaker comes with a really short cord with a small loop for attaching the cord. It isn't big enough to do much but to maybe hang the speaker on a hook. This could be handy for using in a tent. The speaker also comes with a charging cord that is maybe 2 1/2 feet long.

The speaker works good for me. I have also used it to listen to audio books.

The current price is $21.42. This is with a 5% discount and the reg price is $22.55.

Bluetooth speaker perfect Christmas gift or birthday gift

This was a Christmas gift for my son, this small black speaker has excellent sound quality, very durable. I think it is excellent overall for sound durability and price.

Great little speaker that is an outstanding value

The speakers on my laptop are pretty anemic so I was looking for something that I could take with me that had decent sound and could amplify the computer’s audio enough so I could hear it across the room. The M Love M80 speaker does all that and more. First of all, it has great sound. Although initially I was just interested in getting louder speakers for the computer, the fact that the M love has such good sound is a real bonus. Now I can listen to music on my laptop and get decent sound with an external speaker instead of using my headphones. The speaker is very solid and well-built. This is not a lightweight speaker by any means. It’s a very substantial speaker. It has two woofers on either end and when the music’s playing you can watch the membrane of these speakers vibrating like crazy. I generally connect using Bluetooth to either my phone or my laptop. However, you can also use a cable USB-C cable, a headphone jack cable or if you have music stored on a TIF card you can also plug that in and play right off the memory card. The speaker has the ability to put on a dazzling light show. If you’re interested in something like that it’s kind of cool. Also, the speaker is as waterproof as you can get these days. All the controls are behind a rubber membrane and the only open ports are the charging port, the TIFF card and the headphone jack. All are covered by a rubber plug protector that keeps it totally waterproof. The one improvement I could make right off the bat on this speaker and pretty much one of the few I can think of is the rubber membrane that protects all the controls from water is a flat black and the control indicators are on this black membrane. Unless you have enough light they’re virtually impossible to see. After using the speaker for a bit I pretty much know where the controls are but up until that point you might have to get out of flashlight to see where the on and off button is. The speaker itself is about 7 ½ inches high. The diameter is about three inches and quite frankly for $25 this is an incredible value. I already ordered another one of these so I can do stereo sound which is one of its features So it supports two of these speakers each on their own stereo channel to have 360 degree surround sound stereo. I basically just ordered this to get a louder speaker on my laptop and found this speaker does way more than that and it does it really, really well. I’m very happy with this speaker and my next one should be here in a couple days so I can get my surround sound stereo set up. Overall, a great purchase on a quality product.

Good bluetooth speaker with a few quirks

I like this little Bluetooth speaker and often carry it around the house when I need to step away from my computer and want the music to follow me. I have found a few small issues with it but I still enjoy the speaker and use it a lot, so I decided to give it five stars despite some shortcomings.

Sound quality is okay but there is not much bass - this is expected from a small speaker so it would be unfair to take any points off.

Switching between devices is fairly easy - a button long press disconnects from current device so another can connect (if only you can find the button - see below).

I like the colorful LED lights with different patterns - looks pretty in the dark.

Cons

- The button markings are black on black and I cannot read them in dim lighting which makes controlling it rather frustrating. This is the biggest issue for me.

- The manual is short (which is appreciated), but on the flip side I could not find some information in it, such as:

* How exactly does the battery level check work? (tried pressing the button - nothing happened)

* What is the best way to position the speaker for good sound?

- The lanyard does not fit in and I had to break the plastic seal on one of its ends in order to thread it through (not a big deal but where is QC?)

Tips

- I got a long range Bluetooth antenna for my computer, and now I can take the speaker anywhere in the house, basement, and the backyard without losing the signal.

- I printed out and laminated a small card that lists all the functions, and attached it to the lanyard.

Great sound, fun lights, and way better than I expected at this price.

I didn’t think I’d be this impressed with a compact Bluetooth speaker, but the MLOVE E80 surprised me in almost every category. I’ve tested a bunch of these through Vine, and this one immediately jumped to the “actually keep it” pile.

Big, clean sound in a small package

This thing gets loud—and not the “distorts when you turn it past halfway” kind of loud. The highs are crisp, the mids don’t get muddy, and the bass has real punch for a speaker this size. The DSP and the passive radiators actually do something here, and the outdoor EQ mode gives you a noticeable bass boost.

Love that it plays from anything

Bluetooth 5.4 is solid and stable, but I really appreciate the multi-way input.

AUX input for older devices? Yes.

Drop in a micro SD card and play music offline? Also yes.

It’s nice not being 100% dependent on my phone.

Durable and ready for the outdoors

IP67 waterproof and sandproof, so I didn’t have to baby it. You can take it camping, on the beach, beside the pool, or even in the bathroom shower without worrying. And the built-in mic actually works well for quick calls.

The LED lights are a fun bonus

I wasn’t expecting to care about the lights… and then I caught myself messing with all three modes.

You can switch from the RGB flowing effect to the “beats with the music” single-color mode, or turn them off if you want. Great for parties or just setting a vibe in the background.

Easy to carry, all-day battery

Battery life was solid. I got close to the advertised 10 hours. USB-C charging is a must, and the included lanyard makes it easy to clip on a backpack or carry around.

TWS pairing works well (after the first setup)

Once you connect two speakers together, they basically act as a stereo pair with shared controls. The very first pairing setup requires a specific button combo, but after that, it reconnects quickly.

Bottom line

Great sound, good bass, fun lights, rugged design, and multiple input options—all in a compact speaker. I liked this one a lot more than I expected. Excellent little speaker for the price.

High quality Bluetooth Speaker with tons of features

I've been on the hunt for a rugged, portable Bluetooth speaker that can handle everything from beach days to camping, and the MLOVE E80 Portable Bluetooth Speaker (30W, IPX7 Waterproof) absolutely delivers.

Right out of the box, the build quality stands out as truly exceptional. It's compact yet sturdy, with a premium feel that makes it perfect for tossing into a backpack without worry. The IPX7 waterproof rating is a necessity for me - I won't have to worry about taking it to the beach, camping, the lake, or leaving it outside on our screened porch in the humidity and rain.

Sound-wise, this speaker punches way above its weight. The 30W output produces incredibly clear audio with punchy bass (thanks to the dual passive radiators and bass boost mode), and it gets surprisingly loud without distortion, even at max volume.

Setup was a breeze - Bluetooth connected in seconds. That said, the controls rely on single, double, short and long presses for everything from volume to modes, will likely be forgotten, but the basics are straight forward. I've attached a picture of the manual for easy reference to the advanced features!

The LED light modes add a fun, atmospheric touch with three options (RGB flowing, single-color rhythm, or off). Honestly, though, I'll probably keep them turned off most of the time to save battery. I haven't had a chance to confirm the battery life, but even it if is only half of the advertised 10 hours it will be more than enough for my needs. They will also continue to play music even while connected to USB for charging.

There are tons of built-in features I haven't fully explored yet, like the AUX input, Micro SD card slot for offline tunes, and the built-in mic for hands-free calls. I probably will never use the included lanyard though. IMHO, the speaker is too heavy to be flopping around outside a bag via a lanyard.

Overall, the MLOVE E80 is a great portable audio, Bluetooth speaker that doesn't compromise on durability or quality and provides tons of features for a great price. Highly recommended!

Great computer speaker.

I have it paired via Bluetooth to my laptop running Windows 11 and this works great. I mainly use the speaker for streaming and this has been working flawlessly for the last 7 days that I have had it on for more than 8 hours each day. The sound quality is very decent, I love how the light glows and changes colors.

Awesome sound, small package, good price.

I'm impressed by this little speaker. It connected right up without any trouble. The sound quality is awesome, and it really pushes the sound out. Good volume controls too. The different sound reactive color modes are really cool too. I would upload a couple videos to showcase that but it's only allowing me to upload one video.

The battery lasts for several hours. For the price point, this is an awesome value.

I have not tried pairing it with another one for the 360 sound, but I might order another one to try that out.

I also have not tried the SD card option, but it's nice that it's available.

It sounds amazing

I'm very impressed with this MLove portable speaker. It's a solid portable Bluetooth speaker, and puts out amazing sound. The two ends of the speaker are woofers and the treble speakers are on the sides. There is a power button on the side panel along with a volume up and volume down button, additionally there is a equalizer button, which gives a bass boost or normal sound option. When you press the equalizer button it speaks, "bass", or "normal" to let you know which choice you've selected. I connected the speaker via Bluetooth to my phone very easily, and I also connected it to my computer Bluetooth very easily. As you can see from my one photo, the speaker lights up when it's powered on, and the colors are very cool. I tested the speaker for distance, I connected the speaker to my phone via Bluetooth, then left my phone in the kitchen and walked with the speaker outside to the back of my yard, the sound and quality was still steady and strong. The distance from my phone to the speaker in the back of my yard was 75 ft, I did measure it. When I charged the speaker for the first time, it took about 4 hours to charge. I am very happy with the quality, performance and value, of this MLove portable Bluetooth speaker. I would absolutely order it again.

Great volume, good sound

The sound is above average for a Bluetooth speaker. It's crisp and clear and the sound travels well. The volume was set at 25% and it sounded LOUD at 50 ft away. The lights are cool; the colors move while it's on. It also paired quickly, and the battery life is great. It came in at 80% charged and we used it for several hours and never got a low-battery warning. We're very pleased with the product.

Did my research

Great Sound and Versatile

I ordered this to use outdoors on our covered back patio. I appreciate that it’s waterproof so I don’t have to worry about humid air. It’s cute that you can use it in the shower, but I won’t be testing that feature. Mostly I’m about the sound, and this one is dramatically different from the first iteration blue tooth speaker I’ve been using that’s about 10 years old. The sound is phenomenal with a rich bass, crisp midrange, and crystal clear high notes - even at a high volume. I tested it first with Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” and it knocked my socks off (well, figuratively).

I was able to connect this MLOVE speaker with my phone instantly. It played a brief riff when it came on, and showed a rainbow light around the control strip. The light continues to flash while in use, but it’s not quite bright enough to see the raised buttons that are black on black. You’ll need a light source to see the buttons to make any changes. It makes that same little riff when turned off. This is a sturdy and versatile outdoor speaker that you can set on its side (but will roll), on end, or hanging from the lanyard. It’s a “go anywhere” speaker that would also work in the house, a car, bar, or anyplace it’s legal to produce that much sound! The prices have really come down on Bluetooth speakers, and this one is a great value at around $37. Currently there’s a coupon that makes it only $31.99 which is a real steal!

Good sound for the price.

This portable Bluetooth speaker sounds pretty good and has a good battery life. When I used it for the first time I thought it sounded a bit muffled but after going into my device settings and adjusting my equalizer controls it made the sound more crisp and clear and I was much happier with the sound quality. The overall sound is what I consider to be "good" and is perfectly acceptable for casual listening. I've owned lots of high end audio equipment in the past and this is what I would consider to be mid quality sound which is exactly what I would expect from a speaker in this price range so if you need a louder speaker with more high fidelity sound you will have to spend a lot more money than what you would spend on this.

The speaker itself looks sleek and modern and paired very easily with two different phones which consisted of one iPhone and one Android. The controls are very basic but simple to use but I did find the buttons a little difficult to see in dim light due to the dark color and the button presses don't feel very tactile. The speaker itself produces overall good bass and has a good bit of punch for its size but sound quality quickly starts to distort the louder you turn up the volume. The LED lights are pretty cool in the dark and give you a bit of a club/party vibe but I probably won't use the lights very much. The lights can easily be turned off with a few button presses or can just be left in flow mode or rhythm mode which is dynamically in sync with the music.

While I do like the speaker I am a little confused about the design itself as it is still not clear to me whether it is meant to stand upright or meant to be laid on its side. Both ends of the speakers contain mini subwoofers to produce bass so you would think that it shouldn't be placed upright since it would point one of the subwoofers down toward the surface which it is placed which would muffle the bass from that one side. There is a slight lip on each end to raise it up off the surface by a few millimeters but that doesn't really seem very adequate or effective to me. It also doesn't seem right that you would place the speaker on it's side since it is a rounded cylinder shape and would tend to roll on any type of sloped surface. The pictures on the product page show the speaker oriented in both positions so I guess you can technically use it however you want but it would have made more sense to have a beveled edge on one side of the speaker to prevent it from rolling while oriented on it's side. The included lanyard they provide isn't that great and is basically like an extra thick shoelace that you tie around things so I would have much preferred a thin lanyard with a clip to hang from instead. I do like that the speaker is waterproof and has a microphone to use for calls but the ability to play from a SD card isn't really a feature most people would ever use so I don't really care about that at all. Overall it seems to be a decent speaker for a reasonable price and will be great to take to the beach or to use in the shower.

Decent Sound, Not for Audiophiles

This connects easily to both Android and iPhone with no issues of disconnecting.

It has no flat sides so the design is meant to stand up. It has a sleek design and has physical buttons that allow you to control the volume and play/pause from the speaker.

It also has a button that lets you switch from normal sound to bass sound.

The sound is pretty decent and vocals are clear. There is no distortion when playing at maximum volume.

Sound quality for phone calls is fair, and the person on the other end has no issues hearing.

It has a sleek design and the lights give it a more polished look. If you double click the play button you can change the light settings from rgb, breathing, and off.

This is a good quality speaker for the price point. I would not recommend it if you are an audiophile or want a speaker that has rich bass sound.

Loud quick charging speaker

I ordered this MLOVE E80 Portable Bluetooth Speaker for my bathroom and I love it!!!

The speaker itself is very durable and nice to look at with the colorful led light show it provides.

The buttons on this speaker are easy use, with its (power button to turn the speaker on and off, up and down button for the volume, play and pause button for the music, and even have a dedicated eq button to boost the base of the two separate sub speakers, one on each end.

It was very easy to connect to my phone, just turned the speaker on for the first time and it went right into pairing mode, so I am able to play music right away.

For a speaker this size it is pretty loud and the sound is very clear.

It charges quickly by a usb c charger which is great since that is what most things use these days.

This speaker will also be coming with me to work so I can play music for my students while they're on the playground.

I absolutely adore this budget friendly Bluetooth speaker.

Great full sounding speaker with bluetooth, tf card, aux input that's well made and waterproof

The most important feature of any speaker for me is how it sounds, and this speaker sounds great. It can produce a good full bass for it's size that doesn't distort, has clear mid range that produces vocals clearly without being raspy, and crispy highs that doesn't sound staticky. It can also get pretty loud. It feels like it's well built with quality materials. I love the additional features of being able to play music off of a TF card, and has an AUX input for older devices, if you don't want to use the bluetooth connection. The led color lights are fun, but you can turn them off. It's great that it's waterproof, so you can pretty much take it anywhere.

Pretty good little speaker

Edit: I liked this speaker enough that I decided to get another to check out the TWS function. I REALLY like that they pair together and remember it even if turned off, so that if they are both turned on later, they automatically connect with each other...no repeated TWS pairing. I LOVE that. So I paired them up...was a little fussy but I got it done- had to reset. And these sound even BETTER paired with each other. They act as true stereo. I have songs that sound shift from side to side and I tried those and it was perfect. And even better, once paired, what you do on one also is auto done on the other one, like volume for instance. PERFECT! Now take note, the one that you push the buttons on to pair the two becomes the "main" speaker. So if you connect with BT while they are paired together that BT will connect with the "main" speaker. So that means if you want to use the "slave" speaker individually sometimes without the other, you can, but you'll also have to pair it to your BT as an individual (since when the speakers were a unit the BT paired with the other speaker) do that and you're great, use either/or or both. I raised it another star because of all of this. I need TWS to remember..it's not like I'm gonna have a million speakers...at best I'll have the one other one to pair one of these with, and I'd love that to stay that way unless I say otherwise- it's just stupidly fussy to have to repair each and every time. I am using these in my anciently old minivan whose radio doesn't have BT and whose speakers are far less than desireable, one on one side in front hanging from the air vent, the other on the other side on that air vent every time we go somewhere, I even got a case to hold the two in between trips and keep them nice and in good condition. Turn off the lights if you wanna get more battery life out of them.

I was excited to get this speaker, has been awhile. Let's just say that I have a slightly irrational, LOL, level of affection for all manner of bluetooth speakers to go with my HUGE love of music.

So....it isn't a BIG speaker or anything but it sounds pretty decent for its size. On normal mode the treble and nuances are really clear, on Bass you lose a touch of that treble nuance but it's not bad at all. The lights are really attractive and it has a little fixture on the side at one end to put a little lanyard or carabiner through and I appreciate that. They give you a boot shoestring type cord to put on the holder on the speaker...ehhhh. I just used a small black split ring in that holder on the speaker and then put a small carabiner through the split ring and it looks good and works even better. The only thing is that the control buttons are hard to see all the same material and color, but you can feel them with your fingers. If you're one that clicks the buttons alot this could be a touch irritating. It wasn't too bad for me as once it is on and connected I don't mess with the buttons much. Also, it is round and will roll, but you can always use it upright too. The covering is a perforated METAl and not fabric (like another reviewer claimed) for those that care. It features EQ settings for normal and for bass modes. You switch the lights by double clicking the play button- wait song changed and it's TOO loud for me now and I have partial hearing loss- ok, the lights are the attractive flowing rainbow colors and a morphing solid color that responds to the beat on the side lights. Both are attractive. And the second song sounds even better..nice- the silences in the music are nice and super clean, you can hear the singer intake of breath to begin singing and the fine details of syllables. Very respectable.

Just so you can hear what it sounds like (and it's a bit better in person but I can only do what I can do). I am a lyricist in my free time and I create songs- so here is one of my newest creations over on Suno. I did the first part on normal and the second on bass mode.
