Brand new, price and quality

I really like that this is packaged and it was on sale when I purchased. My nieces all like to read a little, and these are great chapter books. I purchased this set as an after Christmas birthday gift for a almost 9-year-old and think she'll really like these. They come in one case to keep them together and organized as well, which is nice.

Inappropriate- hard to read aloud as a parent

My husband, an educator, could not read this book to our son due to the bullying and name calling (“moron”) throughout. The story itself about the fish is entertaining but the older brother is such a mean bully that the book is unreadable. At least I’m only out $10 on the set but I’m very disappointed with these books- I’m hesitant to even donate them.

My picky readers new favorite series!

Getting my almost 9 year old son to read is really a challenge! He struggles with ADHD, and sitting still and being entertained by something that involves no moving isn't easy for him. We struck gold in the Bad Guy's series. However, we were buying two a week and he was reading them both in less than an hour leaving the rest of the week with him begging for more books and us wanting a quite time, brain-using activity. I was looking for a book or series with a little more staying power, and decided to give Zombie Goldfish a try. We got it yesterday and he spent the day, off and on, reading. The first book is almost 200 pages, and he LOVES IT! He told me it's his new favorite book. He also said that the author is "really pretty". 😊 The book has some really fun features. The bottom corner has a little flip-book of the fish. There are activities like puzzles, spot the differences, just really fun extras that delight kids. I haven't checked out the content, but... i don't even care! My kid is reading, and over time that will morph into other books and stories. I'm all about just getting our proverbial foot in the door.

Great books for boy readers

Fast shipping , great price, bought for a gift to donate to a children’s library . Beloved books from my own sons childhood will now be shared for years to come . He loved this set and couldn’t put it down !!!

Poor product. Pages all stuck together.

Very disappointed. Pages are all stuck together at the top. I started tearing them

Apart but realized this is ridiculous and a poor product. My son was so excited to read this book but now can’t without all the pages ripping as he turns each page since they are stuck together at the top.

Sons loves his zombie 🧟‍♂️ goldfish books

My sons is 5 and he enjoys me reading these books to him. We read the first book and so far enjoyed it. I would have like more pictures but these books are made for chapter readers so I can’t complain.
