It’s the best of the best out there being sold.

This amplifier is used to connect my turntable to some new speakers. It does the job very nicely. My only complaint is that the amp puts out too much power or doesn't regulate it properly. I like my music loud just like the next guy but this unit goes from 0 to LOUD in 3 clicks of the volume knob. It reminds me of my friend Henry Z. when he's drinking. He goes from wallflower to Belushi in 2 drinks. Other than that, this receiver seems to function well. The Bluetooth and FM are nice features that I probably will not use much. The unit is small, which was another reason I like it. It fits perfectly where I put it. I am happy with the sound produced and that's all that counts. The controls are clearley marked and the display is bright.

My Lepai mini amps finally kicked the bucket after almost 10 years of daily use. I needed a budget stereo amp to power my monitor speakers at my computer for video and audio production. What I discovered from previous products was that I needed a front mic port at the minimum—this was my search prerequisite for why I purchased this one from Moukey. So far, for the price, I'm happy. But there are some pros and cons to consider:
Pros: Front mic port; relatively compact design; no discernible noise coming from unit when powered (e.g., buzzing or humming); finger-turn speaker wire ports (or plugs if you have that type of speaker wire); packaged really well (something notable these days with damage during shipping)
Cons: Always-on, bright blue display; odd pop/click sound when powering on (listen to uploaded video); default mode is USB when turning on (I've read other reviews that say you can use the remote to bypass this, but I don't like the remote—it's super cheap); radio is a joke, don't even bother

It's a nice home audio amplifier. It sounds great and not bad for on the price. It's very loud. Love the way it sounds with the speakers I have connected to. Sounds great also when I connect it to my tv. Easy to connect to with Bluetooth. Very happy with it. I give it 5 start.

Got this for my shop wanting to run Bluetooth and FM. Also tried to hardwire iPhone lightening to RCA inputs. Using decent Polk indoor/outdoor speakers that have served me well for quite a while. Bought this unit to replace an old tuner that finally crapped out. Every input method digitally clips (depicted in my video) unless you are playing at a whisper volume. It does ok with talk radio, but it will not tolerate music. Has decent power for my needs in my shop, but it’s unusable as is. Sending back today.

I hated to knock off one star because for the price this thing seems well built and extremely powerful for it's size. But I do listen to FM on occasion and wish it had a normal tuner instead of searching every time you change the mode to FM. Although I mainly got this so I can listen to flash drives in the garage and it works stellar for that. Never tried the remote or bluetooth because neither are important to me. Paired to my Pioneer speakers I am literally blown away and the wife the house keeps telling me to TURN IT DOWN! I seriously cannot for over 1/4 volume without the entire neighbood hearing it.
edit: I found I had to use the remote to get on the FM channel I selected. Plus it will stay on that channel everytime I turn it on. So since I only use a thumb drive and one FM station, I just hit the mode button on the remote to go back and forth between FM and USB. Super easy although I still wish I did not have to use the remote. Because it is now so easy, I gave it another star. I still cannot express enough how much power this little thing has. In the garage with my Pioneer speakers, I don't dare go over 1/4 volume without fear of annoying the neighbors...........and wife!
edit: Ok after playing around with it some more, I do not need to use the remote to go from USB to FM. The mode switch does it and takes it back the station I had it on. Now I REALLY love it for the price!
edit again: Got around to mounting it on the wall and it kicks butt. Just love this thing for the price even though the volume is very sensitve.

Just hooked it up to some old speakers my buddy gave me and I’m pretty impressed gonna be nice out in the garage

THE BLUETOOTH IS GARBAGE. THE BLUETOOTH IS GARBAGE. THE BLUETOOTH IS GARBAGE. THE BLUETOOTH IS GARBAGE. DO NOT PAY MORE THAN $45 FOR THIS. THIS IS NOT A QUALITY STEREO. THE BLUETOOTH IS GARBAGE. seriously it is THE WEAKEST radio possible and walking near it will interrupt playback. I'm altering my review here because I want people to be super clear: THE BLUETOOTH ON THIS DEVICE IS GARBAGE. COMPLETE GARBAGE. If you walk between the receiver and what it's connected to, it'll freak out and you'll have to restart the whole thing.
Worth the ~$40 price I paid earlier this year. NOT WORTH WHATEVER $80 PRICETAG THEY'RE TRYING TO SLAP ON IT NOW AND PRETEND THEY'RE GIVING $30 off. NO. THIS STEREO IS A THROWAWAY. IT'S CHEAP FUNCTIONALITY.
it definitely is weak in regard to bluetooth. I did struggle to connect to my computer at first, but followed another reviewer's advice about line of sight which corrected it, but compy sits at 2' tall, reveiver at 3.5', 10 feet apart...why is this an issue in 2024? still very satisfied, and my vinyl is no longer lonely.

I’m glad I bought this! I bought it for my restaurant it’s the perfect size. Great quality! Perfect size for the counter so it don’t take up much space.

This product has excellent price Performance ratio. I have connected a pair of Bose 301 speakers, and they sound great. At high volume they deliver well although dynamic range could be better. It surprise me that the unit did not get warm even when performing at medium sound levels.this means that we probably have a longer lifespan.
I connected a DAC lightning to 3.5 mm dongle and then I connected a male-to-male 3.5 extension cable that goes from the dongle into, the aux input in front of the MAMP1 then I switch the input selector to the right position MP3 W and there you can start listening to your HD music.

Will be using this to emcee a dance competition, using music tracks I mixed in audacity and put on SD card. Easy to use, Bluetooth to phone works flawlessly, outputs let you connect to a "proper" hifi, two mic inputs. No complaints, works great paired with a solid pair of speakers.

I wish i never boight this thing. This 2 channel Moukey radio never worked correctly. From the start It would never store/save the programed radio stations. Every time I turned the radio off all the programmed stations would disappear. I tried to contact the company about it, but no reply from them. Do you realize how annoying that is?
Then after about 1 year of use the volume controls started acting up. The sound would blotch in and out. It would randomly dip and then blair really loud. Anyone nearby would jump and have to cover their ears in discomfort. And the only thing that made the volume go down again was to turn the whole radio off. I tried changing out the speaker wire to see if maybe that was part of the issue.. But nope. The radio just lost volume control.
Total piece of junk quality and crap company service. Not a recipe for success. I will never buy another Moukey product.

I got this for the purpose of practicing my guitar with music off of my phone. I ran my guitar to my line 6 pedal then into the mic 1/4" input. I connect my phone via bluetooth to the moukey amp. Main volume controls the bluetooth and the mic volume controls my guitar. Both volumes work independently for both devices. Super loud with very little input volume. I maybe should've gotten the 100w but this 200w is a beast!! I'm only running out of this 75w 6" mtx bookshelf speaker and this 6" speaker I pulled from an old projection screen tv. Definitely loud enough for me to play a show at a club or bar tho.

I have to admit I wasn't expecting much from this receiver. I mean, what can you expect from a low-cost stereo from a manufacturer I'd never heard of. I just wanted to add some extra boost to the bass and cleaner highs. I figured I'd have to deal with some quirkiness but I would try to overlook it. After unboxing, I set it up and connected my speakers, turned everything on, and it all actually worked! And its still working a month later The included remote was just icing on the cake. I congratulated myself for my shrewd purchase then sat back and enjoyed some tunes.

Purchased this to pair with my Bluetooth HeyDay turntable and two large vintage speakers. The wattage is perfect for the speakers that have a limited max output. Paired with my turntable in about 4 seconds. For those wanting mega bass lows, this is probably not what you're looking for (no subwoofer input). I have the bass at max with minimal treble adjustment and would be more satisfied with bit more. There is more at higher volume levels. However, the better half is not yelling upstairs for me to turn down the bass when playing through this amp; Bluetooth phono, CD, SD card, or USB mp3. Overall, great for what I needed, playing music at lower volume levels. Just to note: the speaker drivers I have with this unit are are the old Alnico type. I have plenty of volume at about 1/10th of max. This little amp has a lot of power. If I turned it up to even half of max volume, it would probably blow these older speakers.

First a couple of thing to say before I give you my honest opinion of the Moukey MAMP1 Amp. I just purchased this for my own use and have not received anything for posting this review. I was looking to replace an older amp and 50 CD Pioneer music box that shot craps in my garage. With all the new technologies out there I did some research on converting music CD to MP3’s. I found a program called Express Burn to convert the CD’s to MP3’s. Very simple to use and does not take a long time for the CD to convert. I would create a folder on my computer by the artist name to save the MP3’s in. I did this some time ago to be able to play in my car. But now that my garage Music system took the crap I started searching online for something I could replace the CD’s with the MP3’s. Which leads me to this review.
I found the Moukey MAMP1 Amp and reading the current reviews most people had positive reviews. I seen where it would play MP3’s and has a folder knob but not a lot of info on how it all works. I tried to find the user manual on line with no luck. So I am in hopes that I may be able to help others with this review.
Here we go. I got this new Moukey MAMP1 all hooked up to 2 speakers in my garage. I configured a 15gig USB Drive with over 500 songs within 44 folders. Installed the USB drive in the Moukey and turned the Input Selector knob to the MP3/W. And this thing just started playing music. Loud music for my 2 stall garage. Crazy good sounds for the money. The user manual was not much help so I just started pushing buttons on the remote to see what all this Amp could do. The CH- button will take you back to the previous folder, the CH+ will forward you to the next folder. The 2 arrow button to the left takes you back to the previous song and the 2 arrows to the right will take you to the next song. When it hits the last song in the current folder it will move to the next folder. The only thing I wished it had was a LED screen with the song name. It just shows the running time for the current song. It does also have an EQ button that has a few preset EQ channels to change the sound of the music. The volume button will only go from 0-30 on the remote but if you set the Master Volume knob to a higher setting then you can play with the remote volume up and down. The knobs on the unit will do the same thing as the remote. I have not tested much more than this.
Bottom line is if you are looking at a reasonably priced Amp that will do the MP3’s this might be for you. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking. Obviously it is not a Yamaha Amp but it is a powerful little amp. Still early in my testing so I am in hopes it lasts a long time.

Bought this to switch out a ten-year old mid-range Denon 7.1 receiver used for vinyl and phone music via aux, which we moved downstairs for the home theater.
This thing puts out clearer, louder sound and is simple to use. I especially appreciate the knobs for bass and treble (not needing to step into two levels of menus using a bad OSD is a plus).
Speaking of, the OSD here is lackluster and I don't know of a way to disable it. Alas.
If you have two halfway decent bookshelf speakers and have ever wanted to get into vinyl, or have some old CDs stashed away, I'd argue this is the best value receiver you can buy.

I bought this to replace a twenty-five-year-old Sony receiver that I paid 10x as much for when new; the left channel finally died on that one. Everything has changed since to '90s...we used to buy music, now we rent it. However, we still maintained the old Sony stack, because the cabinet speakers were great, and because it was easy to just roll with it as set up so long ago. We do like to listen through these speakers in the living room, so I junked the Sony stack and replaced it with this Moukey fed primarily through a Dot for streaming. It sounds great, I can't tell the difference between this and the old Sony. Wile I was at replacing it, I took the opportunity to remove the old Sony matching tuner and tape deck. I wanted to junk the Sony jukebox and the 300 CDs it contains, but my wife wouldn't have it, so it still sits there unused and hooked up with the tiny Moukey sitting on top of it. This is an EXCELLENT VALUE. It does have a couple of quirks. Though the FM tuner receives fine, station selection is very awkward. When new, it scans and catalogues all receivable stations, and keeps them in memory designated P01 through P50. But accessing them afterward is frustrating. You can access them directly by entering a frequency with the little remote, but it's a cheesy little thing, and often misses a depressed digit. Still, it's the best way to get the station you want. We don't use FM anymore, so it's not really an issue for us, but another quirk is that the station will randomly switch not relatable to any other action. I only know because I can see that the display has moved off 100.3 where we keep it set. It's not a big deal, and only happens once every week or two, but it is weird. ***Edit: this turns out to be interference from a Vizio sound bar remote. Every time we use that remote, it changes the FM station.*** The Moukey runs VERY cool, barely warm to the touch. The Sony ran a lot hotter. Hopefully, that will result in long life. We've been using it daily for about a month, so I can't speak to durability. It seems solidly made, there's nothing cheap about the appearance or the feel. The old Sony had scads of inputs and sensible input switching control, and the Moukey has many fewer, and some of the sources aren't separated on the rotating source knob, but require an additional soft key press on tiny buttons. I knew about this in advance, and since I just wanted an amp that worked reliably to stream music from an Echo device (Dot, in this case) it's ok for me. For that (streaming), it seems perfect. Ideally, I would wish for a better input switching scheme, a better station selection scheme for FM, and a better remote, along with at least two additional inputs. But this was a great alternative to another $1,000 amp or fixing the ancient Sony. If I ever wanted to listen to various FM stations regularly, I would probably get the old Sony tuner out of the basement and reinstall it ahead of the Moukey, but that's not going to happen in my case. I like this little thing, and it's unbelievable that it's under $100.

Works great other than the Bluetooth cutting out constantly if more than 5' away. It's annoying as hell. Advertises a much better range. Photo shows how far away from receiver u am. 8' give or take. Constantly cuts out. Bought it to listen to music on my deck and can't be more than a few feet away. Not ideal.

Saludos

I bought this for home practice, plugged a mic into the front. It sounds decent and has good output, even with the small speakers in the picture. ( on top). I haven't hooked up a karaoke CD player yet to use with the ones I have. I was able to use the bluetooth from my computer to get the music to play through it, and then sing along with. That worked well, and I likely will use it that way most often.

Bought this as it supports dual voltage and I plan to use this abroad in Asia. Currently, using it with 2 bookshelf speakers and the sound quality is pretty good. I use it mainly with Bluetooth and did not face any issues. It works great.

Took this overseas, changed the voltage switch to 220V and it works without any issues. I am using this with my old sony speakers as seen in the video and it is solving my purpose.

This is my poor man's studio. I have a Yamaha mixer that I hook up to my computer, iphone, keyboard, guitar, and I needed just a simple amplifier, since these speakers that USED to be amplified are no longer. Long story short, I use the output of my mixer to the input of the amp, with the output to those speakers. Sounds quite good. I also like the quick bluetooth hookup for my iphone alone. Nice. No complaints. Great price!
