MUBVIEW Q8 Wireless Outdoor Security Camera

Decent camera system

For the price, these things are great. Clear picture, excellent sound quality, effective alerts and very simple setup. The attached picture was caught of someone dumpster diving across the street, in the dark, in the fog.

At night it looks clear

These cameras been working great it’s worth the money

Cheap trash DO NOT BUY.

Terrible product. Doesn’t load. They sold AI tracking with this. Wasn’t available for the model. Support says to reset Every time it would freeze. That entails climbing a ladder and then adding to app again. It’s just clunky and has terrible connectivity. Don’t buy.

Cost Effective Solar Camera for Job Site

We can easily connect this camera to 2.4 Ghz WiFi, while our phone stays connected to 5 Ghz WiFi. This is an APP improvement since earlier versions. The solar charging is display in APP. We had 5 continuous cloudy and rainy days since installation. The battery at two installed cameras is still maintained at 99% and 100% respectively. We use them to monitor job site. Even a person movement inside the house is detected through the window. The performance is pretty impressive.

Can’t access videos

Good camera, sharp quality, but for some reason, I can’t access my videos at this moment

Two work great.

I have two of these. One on the front of the house and one on the back. Shows up on dual screen. Easy to install and set up. They work great. Would buy again.

Easy setup.

Setup was easy with the Mubview app. Make sure the camera is turned on and push the reset button and the app should find it right away. Located the camera about 75 feet from nearest wifi access point and haven't had any problems with connectivity. Solar panel cord is long enought so that you should be able to find a location suitable for charging the camera. Push notifications seem to real time when activity is detected. Like the fact that I haven't had to purchase cloud storage even though the option is there if wanted. Camera is located by my utility shed which is in the corner of our property.

HANDS DOWN BETTER THAN ANY OTHER CAMERA!!!!

This is so amazing. Omg. Blink has nothing on these guys right here. They are amazing in every single way!!! Worth every penny and even customer service is amazing. They respond so quick and will help you instantly. I am so glad I bought these. It really is 247 recorfing but you have to figure out how to navigate the Mubview App first lol. I didnt think it was 247 until I messed with the app awhile and figured it out! They've been up about 3 weeks now and my battery has been at 100% charge since i set it up. Lol everything is what I expected plus more. I have literally nothing negative to say about the cameras or seller as of now. Let's hope it stays that way! I recommend these 100009%

Better than Blink and Wyze!!! Get this one if you're looking. Soo many awesome features on this app that I dkdnt even expect. I dif purchase the 4$ basic Ai monthly package so I can easily detect my cat during all hours if she's outside. Worth every single penny. The mubiew app is what I use to watch the recordings on. Get it Get it Get it !!!!¡

Far exceeded my expectations

I installed two of these security cameras. I already had six security cameras. These two are a bit more expensive than my other six. But these two are hugely better performing. Here is a list of what makes these cameras better:

1. These cameras come with 10W solar panel instead of just 2W solar panels. This is important for overcast climates, shaded spots, and high-traffic zones.

2. These cameras come with a 9000mAh heated battery. Standard lithium-ion batteries cannot charge safely when internal temperatures drop below freezing (32°F / 0°C). If a solar panel tries to charge a frozen battery, it can cause irreversible chemical damage or force the camera to shut down entirely.

3. True 24/7 Continuous Recording: Unlike typical battery-powered cameras that only record short motion events, the Q8 leverages its 10W panel and 9000mAh battery buffer to provide continuous around-the-clock timeline recording.

To expand on the third item, my other cameras have a delay before they start recording. They sit in a standby more and have to wake up before they can begin recording. They work well in short distance areas, but fail to capture a person approaching from a long distance. If you need to capture activity 30 to 50+ feet away (like a long driveway or street traffic), this camera fits the bill.

Finally solar powered 24/7 cameras available!

I was looking out for this option for a long time as I have many solar powered cameras installed but none of them is 24/7. They are just recording motion detection which you all know fail some times. So I was happy to see an affordable option being available and I have to say I am happy with the purchase. The battery capacity is great. Image quality as well and the app is easy to manage. Would buy it again!

Surveillance camera.

Review revision;

Though I initially thought this camera was suitable for my needs, I unfortunately have to revise my initial review due to the camera constantly powering off by itself, and unfortunately missing important recordings. I will have to return it.

False advertising

False advertising! Not 24/7 recording! Only clips when it detects motion.

Great night time coverage !

I've owned several security cameras. This has the best night vision recording of any of them. Very clear and responsive. Also the snap in camera to bracket feature is great. You won't be disappointed. Look at the clarity of a shot during the night. And the beautiful clarity and colors of the day time video. Outstanding cam.

Mubview solar cameras

These are the best i had so far……

Great camera at a great price

This camera has been a really good buy for the price. The solar panel connects directly to the camera, which makes installation super easy, and setup with the app was fast. I like that it has car and human detection, since it cuts down on false alerts. The camera rotates smoothly with no lag, and the motion tracking is actually very good — it even picks up my neighbors across the street. The app is responsive and easy to navigate, especially when switching between pictures and videos. I also like that it automatically creates a folder on my device for saved videos and screenshots, so everything is easy to find and share. Overall, this camera works better than my previous wireless cameras and is definitely worth the price.

An amazing high-tech camera, with an amazing price!

First off, this camera is AMAZING. Not only is it a fantastic value, but it’s a fantastic camera with lots of advanced features for the price point. The feature that stands out to me the most is the 36O degree angle, with auto tracking.

As you can see in my video, the camera follows me from my driveway, all the way to my front door with ease. I filmed this at night to test the spotlight feature, and it lights me up with a very bright spotlight, and follows all of my movements. And it even returns to the original spot I had the camera pointed at before it started tracking me!

The sound quality is pretty good as well. It picks up sounds very well, and the intercom function works great! You’re able to go into the app and control the camera yourself anytime you want, and speak to anybody through the app/camera. It has a siren button in case of emergencies, full HD/SD recording, and can record 24/7!

It comes with a sizable SD card for storing footage, and reviewing alerts and saving the videos to your phone is a breeze. There’s optional cloud storage as well! This camera is a solid 10/10. I’ve tested a LOT of security cameras, and this is by far the best one I’ve ever used.

It comes with a solar panel, that can be mounted on top of the camera, or mounted separately to maximize sun exposure. The battery lasts quite a long time, and of course the solar panel is a game changer! No need to take the camera down to charge it, let the sun do it for you!

If you’re in the market for a fantastic camera, with good range, good quality and an exceptional price point, look no further. 10/10!!

Perfect outdoor camera.

Great Support.

New at learning how best to use. Seemed like I was not fully recording activity at the front of our house. I sent an email to support - and received a response in a very short period. I was not accessing my data ,

I am very happy with this camera and its support.

Added a few months later. This camera is perfect. I am notified before anyone gets close to our property. The recording is clear. Great focus. The camera follows every person near and far. Could not be a better outdoor camera.

Highly Recommend

Absolutely love this camera. I've only had it installed for 1 day now and when I tell you this thing captures everything in the clearest picture I've seen in a while. I will be ordering more for my home.

Very Impressive!

Reliable, Easy-to-Use Security Camera with Great All-Day Performance

I love this Mubview 24/7 Continuous Recording Wireless Outdoor Security Camera. Installation was quick and straightforward, and connecting it to my WiFi was hassle-free. Within minutes, I had everything up and running without needing any complicated setup.

One of the standout features is the solar-powered design, which means I don’t have to worry about constantly recharging or running wires. The 360° movement is another big plus. It gives excellent coverage and lets me monitor a wide area of my property without needing multiple cameras.

The video quality is impressive both during the day and at night. Daytime footage is clear and sharp, and the night vision does a great job of maintaining visibility even in low-light conditions. Motion detection works well, and I like being able to check in anytime.

I’ve purchased several cameras from Mubview before, and they’ve consistently delivered reliable, user-friendly products. This one is no exception—it feels well-made, dependable, and designed with convenience in mind.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an easy, effective outdoor security solution.

A+ battery life and options

I have purchased 6 of these cameras in the last 2 weeks so this might be the second review I have posted. I purchased them to replace cameras I bought last year. The selling points for me, the 9000mAh battery and the camera gives you the option of watching the feed all night without the camera/feed shutting off. In the morning after 8 - 10 hours of watching the feed the camera still has 60% charge. I would give them a 4.5 stars if it was an option. I never give anything a 5 star rating, there is always room for improvement for everyone and everything.

Great product- PTZ Camera 24/7

I’ve tried a handful of outdoor cameras, and this one really stands out.

The biggest win is the true 24/7 continuous recording. Most wireless cameras only capture motion clips, but this records nonstop, so you can go back and see everything, not just triggered events. That alone makes it feel much more like a real security system.

The solar panel is a huge plus too. Once installed, it stays charged with normal sunlight, so there’s no hassle with batteries. Setup on 2.4GHz WiFi was quick and stable.

Video quality is sharp, the 2K resolution makes a noticeable difference when zooming in. The 360° pan and tilt with auto tracking works really well and gives full coverage instead of a fixed view.

AI detection is solid, it cuts down on false alerts and actually recognizes people vs general motion. Night vision is clear and detailed.

Nice bonus that it comes with an SD card, so you’re not forced into a subscription, though cloud storage is available if you want it.

Only downside is you’ll want decent WiFi where you install it, but that’s standard for any wireless camera.

Overall, great value. Reliable, easy to use, and packed with features you’d expect from a more expensive system.

This is very easy to set up and a picture quality is amazing

I absolutely love this camera. I manage a self storage facility by myself, in a not so safe area. I do not know self-defense and I had asked the owner to put a camera in front of the house to capture anybody breaking in since I am in my 60s and I did not feel safe but he never put one up there and they sold the property and I still don’t have cameras so I read good reviews about this camera security system and I’m happy so happy I purchased it because I feel so much safer. I will probably have to purchase one for the back of my house, since my house is on the property at the ground level not above an office.

The gate to enter is where I pointed the camera in case someone breaks in after hours or if it’s dark, and the quality of the pictures are perfect. You can see very clearly and I put this up myself and I am a woman in my 60s so if I can do it, you can do it and I even screwed it into the post right in front of my front door, so I feel safe.

Great camera and nice upgrade from previous models.

I have a few of their older cameras and I must say this is a nice upgrade. You get everything you see here including the micro SD card which was a nice touch. The video quality and motion tracking are much improved as well. In general the quality seems to be better even down to the plastic casing.

Wire free install

If you are looking for an easy to install security camera that does not require hard wiring, this is it. This camera has the ability to fully run off of solar power. It looks nice and the images from the camera have nice clarity. It works with my smartphone so that I can have peace of mind that my home is safe. The solar panel is such a nice, environmentally friendly feature. This is overall a great outdoor security camera choice.
