Cool and Complete Block for Sleep

I bought this sleeping eye mask because I need total darkness and no pressure on my face at night. It delivers both without fuss.

The silk fabric stays cool against my skin for the whole night. It gives full 360 degree coverage that blocks every trace of light. The zero pressure design suits me as a side sleeper and never digs in. Lightweight padding keeps the mask from adding bulk to my pillow.

The strap adjusts easily with a soft velcro closure that does not pull my hair. Because the strap has no elastic it never causes tension headaches. Extra padding at the nose creates a secure fit without gaps. The mask contours gently and lifts clear of my eyelashes so I can blink freely if I wake.

No more light

This review is for the silk sleep mask. Sometimes the smallest amount of light at night is too bright and makes it harder for me to fall asleep. Like if the blinds are open, the street lights feel like they are pointed at my eyes. Or even something as small as the light on the printer can feel too bright. I used to cover my face with a pillow but now I have this! This turns the room dark, even during the day.

No instructions, not that they are needed. It comes with a pair of ear plugs and a small pull string pouch. The design is nice but I don’t think that really matters.

The quality is very nice. Good stitching, good Velcro, super soft, and the weight is perfect. The size is bigger than I expected, which I thought would be weird, but it actually makes it more comfortable. I don’t feel the strap around my head. It is very comfortable on all aspects of my head and face. The silk is very soft and feels good. It is adjustable and I can have it loose, but it will still float on my face. It is like a little cloud.

It really helps me fall asleep at night. For $10 this is a great deal. The quality and comfort are worth the price.

The sleep mask is a good "dream" mask.

So glad I happened to come across this Musicozy Silk Sleep Mask. I've had sleep masks in the past and they were nowhere as nice as this mask. It came well packaged and had no odor to it. I like the little planetary design.

When I first felt this mask in my hands, it felt like the softest, smoothest and silkiest texture you can imagine. It also felt cool. I couldn't wait to try it. I hand washed it in cold water and air dried it. It came out perfect.

It is so easy to put this mask on. Just wrapped it around my eyes and it fastened to itself. I tried putting it on in my backyard, and it completely blocked out the bright shining sun. It felt nice and cool and comfortable. The nose area is tailored so that it cushions your nose but does not block your breathing at all.

There are a lot of light sources I need to shut out depending upon where and when I sleep, including: cable boxes, TV, modem, router, computer. air purifier and sunlight. This mask shuts them all out. If I need to remove it for any reason, it comes right off without catching, scratching or pulling.

This mask helps me get a great night's sleep. It will be perfect for daytime naps too!!!

I have other sleep masks that use a narrow band, which can be a little annoying to be felt around my head. This MUSICOZY mask uses a wide, pillow-soft band that is almost unnoticeable.

The mask comes with a pair of generic earplugs that might be useful to lower the decibels a bit in a noisy environment, but they feel cheap and are certainly not 'noise-cancelling'.

The hook and loop Velcro-like fasteners are also soft, that is, they hold but are easily separated. The hook part does not stick to the mask fabric, but does catch slightly on the thread.

The mask also comes with a silky-feeling bag (probably polyester) for storage.

Soft sleep mask for headaches

I get really bad migraines so I saw this product listed and I thought I’d give it a try to see if it helped. I put it in the refrigerator for two days and took it out and it doesn’t get ice cold but it’s cold enough where it’s comfortable to relax with. I have a migraine cap where I first put it on and it makes things worse so this actually helped a lot vs that. It’s made out of a silk material and in the back it’s got elastic so it’s pretty versatile with head size. For some reason, I thought it was one of those wraps that had speakers inside of it to play music, I got thrown off by the listing, but I’m glad it didn’t have that. I think for the price it’s very reasonable and durable quality if you’re looking for something to help with headaches or sleep. I attached a picture to show the width of the back elastic part

Y'all. This thing is awesome 😎

So, I lost a few of my sleeping masks at my mom's when I went to visit and all the kids were using them, so I was in need of a new one anyways.

So when I saw this Musicozy Ice silk sleeping mask, of course I needed to give it a try and am I ever Grateful I did. 🙏🏼😔

So,as soon as I opened it. I noticed the pillow like thickness and softness, super cute design and sleepy vibes, I really love this. I notice it has a different style than the typical eye masks I use for sleeping and I really love it because of how cozy and comfortable it is. It's almost as if you melt into the mask and once your eyes are closed then nothing else bugs you like the nose or eyes your having to constantly adjust. Non of that during sleep or before. It's perfect !

It's silky soft and ultra pillowy but not so much that it interferes with sleep, I noticed some other things about it, like how it has a nose flap that isn't irritating or does it leave gaps so that light comes in. Pure darkness and I love it. It's got a long Velcro attachment on both ends that overlap each other to fit your skull snuggly and comfortably.

This also came with two earplugs for that added silence and peacefulness

And a silky tie bag which is super complimentary and I didn't know.

Now I just realized the name on here and music is in it. Which is leading me to believe I may be able to sleep with earbuds or something with this. ? I'm not sure. Maybe I didn't read the description that well, but I will now after I end this review.

I am already very happy with this, so it would be an added bonus if it's got something to do with that. If not it's ok. I don't listen to music while I sleep much at all anymore as it is. So, it's no big deal .

All in all. I most definitely would get this again. And I most definitely would recommend this ! It's awesome.

Great for those with sensory issues, curly hair, or wishing to prevent eye wrinkles.

I like this mask a lot more than I expected to. Typically, I opt for a mask with convex areas over my eyes to prevent pressure on my eyes when I sleep, which has been a past issue. Not so with this mask. It blocks the light completely, without needing to be too tight.

This is REAL Silk. Not the 1/2 smooth, 1/2 scratchy feeling of satin. This mask gives 360-degree silkiness. I am someone who changes sleep positions often, both while asleep and while trying to get comfortable to get to sleep. This mask moves well with me, and the slight movement of the mask that comes when changing to a side-lying position is not distracting or irritating due to the 360-degree silkiness.

The mask is filled with a "cloud-like" filling (yes, the product listing mentions it being like "sleeping on a cloud," but truth be told, they kinda got that part spot on - I cannot think of any other way to describe the filling).

There is a small unfilled piece of the mask that covers the nose. The lack of filling in this section allows it to mold to your nose easily, blocking all of the light.

This kit comes with earplugs and a small drawstring bag, both of which are nice additions.

There is an opening (lined on the inside) on each side of the mask appropriately, where the sides of your cheeks would be. The listing doesn't specify what this section is intended for, but it could be used to store earplugs. Alternatively, if you are a back sleeper, you could place your earbuds into them and listen to music or a meditation while using the mask. This would be uncomfortable for side sleepers, but it provides a safe option for earbud use while sleeping for back sleepers.

The whole circumference of the mask is wide and fully covered in silk, which, as a curly-haired girl, I appreciate because it kept my curls looking smoother and prevented them from getting stuck or wrapped in the mask while I slept. The mask is adjustable, and the velcro is well-centered in the wide width on the back of the mask, so you would have to be doing something terribly wrong to get any of your hair stuck there.

The overall footprint of the mask is larger than I would personally use for travel (for context: I am the kind of girl who can spend three weeks traveling across Europe with one small hard sided carry-on and an under-the-seat bag.) However, I may miss the luxury of this mask if I leave it at home, as it has been my go-to mask since I first unboxed it weeks ago.

I would recommend this mask to anyone wanting a luxurious eyemask. It would be especially great for those with curly hair, women wishing to prevent eye wrinkles (as the silk doesn't tug the delicate eye skin), and individuals with sensory issues, as there are no seams touching your face, and the pressure of the mask is adjustable and, more importantly, consistent around your head so there are no pressure points.

Didn't Fit Me Well

I've been using a sleep mask for decades to aid in my nightly rest and have tried quite a few iterations over the years. There's a lot to like about this design, but they come with some caveats. First, it's large, which is a plus in a world of smaller and skimpier products looking to cut costs. This may be a detriment to people like me, though, who are side sleepers, as the padding in these areas can become uncomfortable over time. Second, it's silky smooth surface feels good on the face, but also brings with it the tendency to slip on the face while turning or moving. Third, and most important to my experience with it, the velcro strap on the back is about 4 inches long, and it didn't accommodate my larger head size well, I was only able to overlap about 1/2 an inch of the velcro and that made the mask too tightly. I tried stretching it by pulling on the ends, but the material doesn't allow for that. I'm probably bigger than average for a man's head, so women and those with smaller head sizes won't be affected like I was.

Overall, this is a nice mask and it comes packaged with a storage/travel bag and a set of ear plugs. It doesn't mention it, but this mask type usually recommends hand washing only. I think you'll be fine if you wash it in a fine mesh lingerie bag by itself without any bleach. Might be a good idea to air dry it or at most low heat in the dryer. The price point, ~$10, is reasonable. I'd recommend it for those with average to smaller head sizes and it would most likely work best for those who sleep on their backs, as the thick padding around the mask might pose a problem for side/stomach sleepers.

Comfortable and Cool

There are some pros about this sleep mask. I've tried A LOT of sleep masks and I'm always looking for one that's more comfortable and blocks out light better. This guy accomplishes a chunk of that. The fabric is smooth and cool against my face without sacrificing the black out. The nose section has to be adjusted a little when you put the mask on but ultimately keeps the light around the edges of my nose efficiently. I like the strap that allows for rolling up the mask and securing it for easy stowing. I'm not a fan of the bigger sides that cover my ears. I'd rather have a thinner strap to let me ears breath. This is a personal preference which I can not fault the mask itself for. There are some odd little pockets on the bottom of the mask that I'm not 100% what they are for. They measure at about 1.25" (3.2cm) in diameter. Perhaps to install a cold/warm pack or some kind of fragrance holder.

Light blocking silky eye mask

The eye mask is 26 inches long, with a ~4" loop and ~4.5" hook as fastners. One end has a little loop to secure the mask when rolled up, so it can store in the bag it comes with. Also came with a pair of earplugs.

The outer fabric (also the part that touches your face) feels like smooth silk. If you look along the nose side of the seam, there are two "pockets" where you can see how the inside is lined with black fabric. The mask is filled with some of batting. I was able to throw this in the washer and dryer in a mesh laundry bag for delicates without any problems.

The mask is large enough to fit my big head. I'm mostly a back sleeper and with my big head, the seam where it fastened was a little bothersome. It does completely block the light and it feels nice when sleeping on the side. The other eye masks would shift to the side and off of my eye area when I move, but this didn't have that issue since it wraps around the whole head.

The downside is that because it is silky smooth all around, it was also likely slip off when I would switch positions at night. It also did feel a bit hot for these summer nights we've been having, but I'm pretty sure I will reach for this mask once the weather cools off.

Comfortable sleep mask but needs instructions

This mulberry silk sleep mask is extremely comfortable but honestly could benefit from an instruction manual. There are 2 different pockets – one opening on each side that runs from the ears and connects in the center after crossing the cheekbone regions, and a small nasal area pocket that has much thinner padding on the inside than the outside. I assume these could be used for inserting various cooling or scent packets, but without any instruction a first-time user would have no clue what they’re for. The Velcro fasteners on each end are very sturdy, but there is also no explanation for the elastic band that is attached to the right-side end, leaving users guessing until you realize it is for keeping the mask rolled up for storage. The sleep mask also came with two drawstring silk pouches and a pair of cheap foam earplugs. There are no washing instructions, leaving one wondering what you should do with it after wearing it once or twice because in a warm room, you can sweat a bit while wearing it. It was very comfortable to wear overnight and blocked every trace of light, making it much better than any other sleep mask this side/stomach-sleeper has tried in the past.

This thing is so soft and luxurious! Really nice soft silky feel, and comfortable to wear. I hadn't used a wide one like this before and I have to say, I am now totally converted! Much better that the small ones you usually get with the elastic that stretches out after a while. This thing also totally blocks all light, which is impressive. Comfy to sleep in, doesn't move around, and the velcro is easy to stick / unstick and won't get your hair caught. Comes with a cute little pouch for storage / travel, and some ear plugs. I am genuinely impressed by this eye mask, and would highly recommend it.

Not exactly what I expected

With the words "ice" and "cool" in the title and description of this item I was under the impression that this would somehow be a sort of cooling mask - like I could chill it or it would have somewhat a cooling effect. My fault for not reading the description closer. The only "cooling" thing about it is that it is made with a soft, silky-like material which they call "ice silk cotton." To be honest, it feels like legging material which is typically polyester which retains heat and that is exactly what this does for me. It feels cool when I first put it on but then after about 20 minutes it heats up so much that I have to remove it. This could also be due to the padding (which I cannot find what type of material the padding is). The description also says this is a "dual texture experience" with exterior cooling side and interior cotton side. However, both sides are the exact same material.

Other than how soft the material is, this mask was NOT comfortable for me. I had to tighten it on my head so much in order to prevent any light from coming up on the sides of my nose which made it uncomfortable to wear. It wraps around the head so I was hoping it would help block out noise but it doesn't do that at all; however, it comes with a set of earplugs for that purpose.

I suppose some might find this to be a good mask which is why I gave it 3 stars - it is larger than most, has the potential to block out more light than some other masks, is soft to the touch. But it can be tight and it definitely is not cooling at all.

Extremely plush/artful eye mask w/lousy carry satchel; blocks out 100% of light if seated correctly

This sleep mask is super plush, full-bodied, and soft. There is an adjustable Velcro strap in the back. There is NO eye socket channel but that is to be expected with this type of cloth mask. As long as I pull this down lower on my eyes so it touches the bridge of my nose, it blocks out 100% of light. If I do not put the mask on my face correctly, then sometimes I can see just a hint of light peeking through the bottom.

This mask is super comfortable to wear. It fits me very well and is not too loose or too snug. It does not move around when I lay down with it. Overall, I really love this sleep mask and the fact that I can adjust it to fit comfortably. The material is also cooling and I especially love the artful galaxy design. In addition, this comes with a cloth carry satchel.

The current price of $9.99 is reasonable for a mask like this.

Love this eye mask. Helped me sleep

I needed a mask to help me sleep through the night and those other eye masks with the strap tend to bother me. I do love how you can Velcro the mask around the head. It feels soft and plush. I feel no damage done to my hair while I’m wearing it. The mask is super dark while wearing however you could slightly see some light from the bottom of the mask near the nosepiece, but that’s not such a big deal and shouldn’t affect your sleep.

The design is really cute and I do appreciate the satin storage bag and the strap to roll the mask up, It was a touch difficult to get it into the bag, but it can be done. If I could change one small detail at want the little dips around the eyes so it doesn’t feel like there’s fabric pressing against the eye, but if you don’t put the mask on tight, it’s not gonna bother you.

Great quality, Help me sleep all through the night and into the morning and would recommend for anyone else looking to get a comfortable mask.

Sleep Mask

Soft and fit around the eye area. Literally no sunlight is getting in unless you want it. Not flimsy like regular sleep mask. Happy purchase for me!
