Solid feel and performance, doesn't directly pair to XBOX, many features locked behind Windows app
This is an excellent 3rd party controller with a lot of customization potential. A well designed carrying case and a high quality and good length USB cable are awesome bonuses.
The out-of-the box configuration is perfectly adequate, but it's nice to have the options to adjust weight balance, and contact surfaces.
The hall effect joysticks are mostly a theoretical advantage, at least in the short term. In my experience it's only with significant age and usage that traditional resistance-based joysticks start to struggle with accuracy and drift. But it's nice to know that won't be a factor here even far into the future.
There are a couple of reasons I dinged this controller a star. Firstly, despite being sold explicitly as an XBOX controller, the controller has no ability to directly pair with an XBOX console. You are required to use the USB transceiver to communicate with an XBOX console. Despite having very low latency 2.4Ghz, the signals now have to pass through both radio translation and the USB bus, whereas a direct connection only has to go through the XBOX wireless bus. While it's a technicality and I had no detectable problems with latency, this necessarily introduces lag.
The second reason I dinged it a star is that a lot of the stick customization is locked behind a Windows app. In 2026 this is needlessly bad design. Web-based configuration would be simpler to use, and wouldn't tether advanced functions to a Windows app that will be obsolete and unsupported within a couple years (if it lasts that long). What's worse, this controller has a built in screen, and a dedicated button for accessing controller config mode, but for some reason it only has access to modify a tiny fraction of settings. That interface would have been perfect for managing every single setting on the controller. It is difficult to understand what they could have possibly been thinking.
Overall this is a great controller, and if you don't care about the long-term ability to manage settings like button remapping, dead zone adjustment, and per-game profiles then you probably will not be bothered by the fact that you cannot use the XBOX, or the on-screen interface to manage these settings. The physical customization options are great for dialing in the feel you want, and the hall effect sticks should ensure it never develops problems with drift.

There's a lot of adjustments to set up the way you personally want it.
This Controller is great. I love thevfeel of it. The way you can adjust everything from how the battery is used to the Sticks, the triggers it even haves a EQ for headphones. You can set up to 5 preset. Like with horror games I have less bass and a bit more mid and the light on the stick turns red. For shooters bass is up to make the sound pop when shooting and the light is blue showing me I'm using that setup.
My only complaint is with all the buttons. When I grab the controller and I squeeze during a intense part during the game I will hit one of those back buttons and mess myself up. But when I need a controller again I'm going back to Nacon. I Live it.

My son loves it — great presentation and accessories
My son has been playing with this controller and is absolutely thrilled with it. Everything has been as expected and matches the description. I’m not a gamer myself, so I can’t give a detailed technical review, but he’s very happy with it and hasn’t mentioned any issues.
I really like the white and gray design, and the presentation is lovely. It comes with a nice carrying case that keeps the controller and accessories organized, along with a charging stand and cable. Having those included makes it feel like a complete set.
The built-in screen and different customization options are nice extras. There’s a lot here for him to explore and adjust to his preferences. Most importantly for me, my son is delighted with it. Very happy with this controller!

USA, XBox, MacBook, or iPhone do not buy this
Controller is amazing hardware wise. It’s the best I’ve felt, but the software is hot garbage. Doesn’t work with iOS and you have to update it with a computer that runs windows. It works great on the pc but for console I would stay far away. I got this to play Xbox so it’s worthless for me. I can’t even play because I can’t update it. The screen for the app gets stuck on the screen on my pic posted.

Great Controller!
I love this controller! I will say compared to a typical Xbox controller, the center buttons (start/select and xbox) aren't in the typical area because of the screen. Takes a little to get used to button layout.

Comfortable, Well-Built, and Fully Customizable
The controller arrived earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. The outer box was slightly damaged, but everything inside was in perfect condition. As soon as you open the rigid carrying case, you can tell the quality right away. The controller, triggers, buttons, extra buttons, screen, joysticks, and lighting all feel very well built.
The grip is excellent. I have sweaty hands and the controller still feels secure and comfortable at all times. All the accessories were included: weights, interchangeable joysticks, cable, and the charging dock, and everything works perfectly.
The overall quality is outstanding and feels very reliable. The app for mapping and customizing profiles is very complete. It may take a bit of time to learn, but the level of customization for each button and trigger is amazing. I had never owned a controller like this before, and this was easily one of my best purchases. It is absolutely worth the price.
In summary, this is a very comfortable, well-built, and feature-packed controller. I would buy it again without hesitation and highly recommend it.

I was on the fence for a very long time, because of the hefty price of this controller. But I finally pulled the trigger and am 100 percent happy that I did. This is a top quality, beautiful to look at, an functional in every possible way. I'm an average player, but with this, I will never need to upgrade as I advance my game play. For a very advanced controller, it's relatively very easy setup. I was up and running with zero issues in a very little time. The Gamesir controller that I bought before this one, I was online with their support staff for three days and they still couldn't fix my connectivity issues. I ended up returning that and purchased this one. If you can afford this controller, get it without any hesitation. It's worth every penny.

Very High Quality
I LOVE this controller. The vibration is on a whole other level in comparison to the standard Xbox controller. The build is so high quality and looks really cool. This controller is so great that it makes certain games with excellent vibration a new experience. I’ve been playing games that I thought I was done with just to experience them with this controller. The profiles are very customizable and easy to use. The base with dongle works fantastic and never has connection issues. The battery life is insane too. You will not regret buying it.

Definitely worth the price.
I gotta say probably the best controller I've ever purchased. However it is very clicky so it you don't like the click feeling when you you hit buttons it's probably not for you. Adjustable thumbsticks, remappable buttons, wireless, Bluetooth and wired. The in-game app is pretty straight forward but you have to be wired to the PC in order to change the settings. Can swap settings on command and switch between console and PC relatively quickly. Definitely worth the price compared all the other ones I've bought for the same price.

Beware of abysmal support and stick drift
The stick drift champion.
TL/DR: Abysmal support. Great size for bigger hands. Good positioning of back paddles, built into the grip. Great profile setup selection.
This is my 4th "pro" controller after the MS elite 2, SCUF Instinct Pro and the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro. All are good, have their unique kinks, which this one eliminates, except for stick drift.
Even though Nacon advertises it doesn't have any stick drift, try to activate "shooter pro" mode within the software and you'll be greeted between 1-4% drift. This according to their "manager" is "normal". Yeah right.
I was an idiot for not sending it back within the first 30 days for a replacement, so I had to go the hard way, through Nacon support. Let me tell you straight away, they are the WORST when it comes to helping out. Their rep who ALWAYS picks up the phone, Amy (who contrary to his name, is a male), has no clue whatsoever he needs to eat and has random things to say when talking to him multiple times. I had to raise my voice to make "him" understand that the issue I face is not something that will make me back out just because he says so.
He says this one time, then that the other. He cannot tell you dates for sure, because he does not care. It took me 1.5 months to get a replacement, even after fulfilling everything he was asking for, such as video evidence, purchase date, then sending back the controller. They sat on my replacement for 2 weeks with no response, having my controller with their team the whole time. When calling him again, about the delay, I got some bs story that their "engineers and developers" are testing my controller and that I will receive it back once they are done with testing. The one I sent back. Then when asked about the replacement, he was not aware what I was talking about. It took 2 more weeks to finally send a replacement - which, surprise, still has stick drift.
If it wasn't for the ergonomics and variety of comfort with the controller, I'd give this product 0 stars and would return it again for a replacement. But since I don't have a backup one and don't want to wait a month and a half again, I'll keep it and rather advise everyone to think twice before ordering from them.
All of their controllers according to their manager, will have "some" stick drift when using the "shooter pro mode" even though that is touted on their website along with a "zero drift" sticker. It's laughable. Too bad I can't laugh about it now $200 short.
Also the nacon Xbox app is the biggest pile of crap I have ever seen. The pc app still did not recognize either controllers. I guess this speaks a lot about something that is also touted gamer friendly.
I have all voice calls recorded as well the emails and will raise a case with the BBB and will open posts on Reddit.

A monsterous controller. I personally haven't had issues with the app. I'm very much used to to the paddles on the xbox elite and I thought the back buttons on this controller would be problematic but it is perfect, no bs mis inputs! It feels really good and if you're like me who like heavy controllers, THEY HAVE WEIGHTS YOU CAN PUT IN(i was a little too excited) but seriously, so far it's the best "high end" controller I've brought. HOT GARBAGE!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
What does every xbox controller have in common no matter how much money you spend be it 50 or 200 dollars? The quality of critical components are all the same. This controller is no different. I have 2 issues i noticed before even playing a game with it. I was playing around with the different pieces that came with the controller. Added collars to the sticks, after that the right stick started sticking and could feel roughness in the movement. It literally will stick in position to the left, will add picture. Second problem is the charger. It is so difficult to get the thing to actually start charging when placing on the dock. I have to watch it and move it around till i see the red ring as a charging indicater. If this contoller would work properly and be reliable it would be a fantastic controller. In the meantime it is probabally the worst controller i ever bought because it already broke before even playing a game. I am not hard on my controllers. Quality just sucks everywhere you turn. Most controllers ladt just outside of a one year warranty.

Premium controller, works well, but tedious to set up and configure
This review is for the NACON Revolution X Unlimited (RXU) Wireless Controller. The controller is designed for both XBOX and PC. In the box comes the controller, hard shell case, charging dock, dongle, additional controller weights, joysticks, D-pad, USB-A to USB-C cable and instructions. The controller has a 3.5 mm port for a wired headset option.
I don’t have any Xbox consoles so this my experience strictly with the PC.
The RXU integrates Hall Effect Magnetic technology to “greatly enhance precision and durability through magnetic effect, preventing joystick drift". It has 1ms wired response time and 2ms in wireless. It has full and half trigger settings for L2 and R2 and well placed back grip buttons. The controller options are presented via a small LCD screen where you can select pairing, audio, joysticks, button mapping, etc. Starting off you’ll want to connect the controller to your PC and download the RXU app/software so you can update to the latest firmware. This part I found a little tedious and annoying because it wasn't detecting the controller at first. The charging dock works well and also allows the dongle to be connected, saving you additional port space on your PC.
The RXU controller is a very advanced piece of hardware. I would say it’s a bit over-complicated if you haven’t read up on it thoroughly before attempting to use. There are a multitude of options/settings on this controller that I won’t cover in this review but it’s something a consumer should definitely read up on so they can tailor the RXU to their liking.
I tested in both Bluetooth and Wireless dongle modes and my experience was the same. The response was very good with no noticeable latency. During gameplay I found that I really like the D-pad. It’s really smooth (and quietly clicky) and takes minimal thumb effort to move around. Both joysticks were responsive with no complaints. Y, B, A, X buttons were very responsive and required minimal travel to actuate. It’s been a solid experience using this controller over the last week or so.
One thing that really drove me bonkers with this controller was the switching from Xbox mode to PC mode. The instructions simply say to hold down the multi-function button for 3 seconds to make the switch. This did not work for the longest time in either BT or Dongle mode. I switched from Advanced to Classic, turned the RXU off and on, etc. Nothing worked, until it just did. It was frustrating but now it does switch back and forth from Xbox to PC. So it’s just things like that as to why I referred to this controller as a bit over-complicated. Once it’s set up, it performs well though.
Again, I’m not deep diving into this controller because there’s too many things (profiles, advanced/classic, microphone settings, etc.) to cover that you can read up on in the instructions or test for yourself. But I do want to say that I love the options this controller provides and is presented well. Overall, it’s a premium controller has the price to match. It feels great in my hands, the heavier weight (adjustable) feels good and solid, and the performance it what I’d expect from a premium device. However, the mode changing and app/software setup is finicky and can certainly be improved upon. I do recommend the controller but would wait for it to go on sale. 4/5 stars.

Amazing PC Controller, Customization Galore
This NACON Revolution X Unlimited is, without a doubt, the best controller I have ever used. It's super comfortable to hold, featuring soft rubber grips in all the right places. Every button feels premium, with incredibly precise inputs and lightning-fast response times.
There are tons of software and hardware customization options available. The accessory kit is very well put together too, containing a nice variety of parts. Additionally, the charging station holds the controller perfectly, and the included braided cable is a generous length. If that weren't enough, it even comes with a sturdy carrying case.
Thanks to the USB dongle, connecting to my Windows 11 PC was effortless, and the connection was seamless. If you have a PS5, this controller works with the Wingman FGC 2 Converter. Wireless randomly disconnects after a short time, but the wired connection is flawless. Just keep in mind that there's no touchpad, and the share button replaces it. Five stars all the way!

Well made and accessorized, but outdated internally.
This controller is made very well, and presented with all the accessories one could ask for: internal weights, joystick and D-Pad cap options, angle restriction rings for the sticks as well, a charging dock, braided cable, and a nice travel case. The controller itself also features some fun if gimmicky features, having a display for on-the-fly adjustment and GIFs, and a truly hilarious amount of macro buttons. The Omron and Alps switches present in this controller feel great and function flawlessly. Connectivity is issue-free, and the app works as it should. This is where I have to start getting critical though.
In 2025, a $200 flagship controller should have TMR tech behind the joysticks, and either that or force feedback in the triggers. Hall effect and 2 mode triggers have already bled down well into the budget controller market, and even TMR can be had for under 60 bucks. The sticks and triggers here do feel good and function as intended, but being behind the curve with what's supposed to be a bleeding edge piece of tech is what it is.
My final thoughts are: It's nice, but you can do better for its retail price. Catch it on sale if you can.

In my week of testing, I mostly love it (though the software could definitely use some work)
I'm going to get to all the reasons I really love this controller, but let me start with the thing that almost made me dock it a star. The software is kind of buggy. And could be more intuitive.
Before we even begin, let's start with the basics. There are two modes: classic and advanced. Classic is pre-programmed profiles. You can use the LCD screen to change certain aspects (more options than advanced actually), but you're locked into a lot of settings. To make big changes, you need to run in advanced mode. Advanced mode needs to be fine tuned in the software app (PC for me).
So those basics out of the way, let's start with the screenshots I've posted.
In the first screenshot, we have custom mappings I've applied to the back buttons on the controller. I really like the S1/S2 green buttons. They're genius. But as you can see in the screenshot, it's kind of confusing. Because you're looking at the controller backwards, everything is reversed. Except they labeled the left trigger/bumper, right in these screenshots. And the right trigger/bumper, left. Which you kind of have to ignore. Because if you want the left S1 button to be mapped to the left bumper, you need to end up with my settings in the screenshot. It just looks wrong. Even though it's right.
This also applies to the bottom back buttons. Which is why it looks like I have the right stick click attached to the left stick. I don't. It's mapped to the left stick click, despite how it looks in that screenshot.
I also wish there were more explanations to these settings. In the gyro setting, I was curious to see what config #2 did. Maybe it makes sense to some people, but I couldn't tell what that was doing. Spoiler: use config #1. I'm not sure what you'd want config #2 for. Maybe it's for racing? Explanations would be helpful. But if you want gyro for aim assist, config #1 is the only option.
While I'm on complaints, I wish you could configure the sensitivity of the gyro. You can't.
Also, while I was exploring the LCD screen options (trying to find if I could adjust the gyro settings), I hit the button to disable the gyro. You can’t toggle it back on with the LCD screen. Only off. Why? You need to hook it back up to the software suite to be able to turn it back on.
Negatives out of the way, I do love this controller. My main controller is the official Xbox One controller. This is just a big upgrade in every way. To me, the analog sticks are just way better. And responsive.
I’m not a big d-pad user, but it seems very responsive. It’s a very light d-pad. And it’s clicky buttons. So it’s very easy on the thumb.
The face buttons are nice and big. Bigger than my Xbox One controller face buttons. They’re also nice and clicky.
I love all the back buttons and their ability to be customized. As someone who’s never liked the traditional bumper button (I always rest my index finger on the analog triggers), I love that I can curl my index finger and still hit the S1/S2 buttons while resting on the analog triggers(when custom mapped to be triggers).
Speaking of triggers, the ability to go from analog to having it be a clicky digital button is awesome.
The build quality seems very high.
It’s a very expensive controller, but it does pass the test of being a premium controller in every regard. My only real complaint I’ve had in a week of testing is I feel the software could definitely be improved.

Very feature rich controller that has everything you need in a controller i love it
I have tons of controllers even one that has a small lcd screen like this one that also has alot of features but when i saw this one and seeing all the features it has that i wanted in a controller i had to get it and give it a try.
When i first received it which was on release day i was very impress how this controller feels in my hand it's very comfortable the coating and the rubber grips are really nice feeling the hall effect joysticks feels better than all my other controllers and pretty much all the buttons on this controller is mechanical and has nice tactile click sound and the triggers also feels great and you can adjust them to instant buttons which is great for shooter games and the d pad is the best i felt on a controller which also has micro switches in it and i love the rear s3 s4 and s5 s6 buttons which really i did not know there was s5 and s6 buttons cause they are hard to see on the photos and for me i have no issues with them or using them which i been using them alot.
Using this controller in racing games feels great and also fighting games and fps games really any game feels great while using this controller and i also love that you can change anything on this controller right on the lcd screen which is audio joysticks mapping and settings and you can change the sensitively of the joysticks also, And the feature that works great that i been using alot is gyroscope I'm a pc gamer and i never could get gyroscopes working on other controllers on pc but once configured it works great and it works by holding a button down which i used the s3 back button when i want to use it. The revolution x software was a bit confusing at first mostly on release day cause it wanted me to update the firmware and that took like 30mins to do but after that it worked but you do have to be in wired mode than switching the switch on the back of the controller to custom mode while also in xbox mode even if you on pc than you can customize stuff as you want it does tell you that in the app than you can switch it back on pc mode though most things can be done on the controller so the app is not always needed.
This controller also comes with alot of stuff one is a very nice hard case that holds the controller and everything in it even the charging dock and has alot of other items like joystick rings and weights if you want the controller to be more heavier than it comes with joystick heads and 2 dpads 4way and 6way which the 6 way is already installed and a very long 3meter braided cable and they even included 30 days of gamepass ultimate but for new accounts ony but I'm not sure if this will always be available with this controller or not. I can't say much for the battery life but it's been lasting me through my long gaming sessions each day for 6days now than when I'm done with the game i put the controller on the charging dock so it's always charged when i used it again but i believe their statement of up to 10 hours though which is not the longest battery life in a controller out there but for how much features and tech this controller has i say it's pretty good still.
More so i really have no cons to say about this controller it feels very premium and it comes with alot of extra items to customize it with and you can do alot of customizing on the controller lcd screen on or on the software which if i were to give it a con it would be for the software but i don't feel i should blame the controller over the software cause it's pretty new and the software does work decent after you setup the controller with it like the firmware so i do fully recommend this controller and it's worth giving it a try cause right now it's my favorite controller out of all my controllers i have so it gets a solid 5 stars from me i love it👍
