I love how kid friendly the terms are in this book. I really like the different terrains that it uses to show where God is and how he won’t ever leave us even when we’re home or we’re on vacation or wherever! The drawings are beautiful and they really add to what the words are saying so kids can understand the psalm and Bible better!

Psalm 139 was a psalm I read daily as a new believer, so you could imagine how excited I was to see a children’s book that shared the same message!
I took a picture of the page with the North Pole as some people have left reviews about the inaccuracy of polar bears and penguins living together. They must have created edited versions, because there aren’t any penguins on the page! Wanted to include that in case that was swaying anyone’s decision in buying the book!
Overall, VERY pleased with this book!

I read a few reviews mentioning the inaccuracy of penguins living at the North Pole, so I was pleasantly surprised when my copy arrived to see that they removed the penguins from that illustration! This book is beautifully written and illustrated. Definitely recommend!

This is a lovely book and would have garnered five stars were it not for the inaccurate illustration showing penguins living with polar bears and walruses at “the North Pole.” We should strive for accuracy in communication and representation to young children if we want them to believe the book’s central message of God’s nearness. Even my two year old knew that penguins do not live in the Arctic, so this discrepancy was confusing. While it provided a chance to discuss how we are all humans who make mistakes, I’m surprised no one caught this error prior to publication.
