Fantastic unit highly recommend.

Very simple to setup. Totally accurate. I measured the temperature with my gun and it was exactly the same for over 24 hours! The signal strength is strong. I have it in a metal building in a low spot. All 4 bars stay lit. I have peace of mind when we leave the dogs inside. I posted a photo of the signal strength.

Necto Cellular Temperature Monitor is AWESOME!

Bought this for my RV to monitor the temp and to know immediately if power is lost because we travel with our Doodle. This thing is spot on and I like the fact that it works off cellular and comes with a two year subscription. mounts easily or can be portable. Has its own backup power that is rechargable so you can move it wherever needed.

Works Great

Device is relatively small and very easy install. Downloading the app and setup was easy. Very straightforward.

I like the fact that you can alert up to 5 phones and emails. And the fact that this device chosess the best connection out of multiple service providers is incredible. (we use Tmobil and it is one of the recognized service providers)

I just installed this device today so I will update if things change, but my impression so far after testing it multiple times is that this one is a definite 5 stars.

Note: I emailed their customer support with a question and the contacted back within an hour... 5 star Customer Service !!!

Life saving product that works!

Works great. It’s saved my dogs life in my RV twice. At work I always know what the temperature at home is. It will text me when the temperature I sat for a high has reached that. Once my electricity went off and it texted me as well. The only thing I don’t get is what do you do when your 2 yr subscription has expired.

Nova Approved!!

Ian an Owner Operator TruckDriver, and I have my dog with me. Keeping her cool in the summer heat is my priority, especially when I’m away from the truck. With Necto I’ve been able to enjoy the confidence and peace of mind knowing I have the ability to get CUSTOM alerts.

Super easy set up

I’ve traveled most of the US and a large portion of Canada, and never suffered with connectivity issues.

Alerts are super fast, but I have had a couple of instances where the text alerts (I have AT&T cellular) are delayed (2-3 minutes).

User interface is super simple and straight forward.

No more worries

Do you travel with your four-legged friends? We do, and worry that 5th wheel might lose electric, AC or heat turn off and would hurt dogs. This was recommended over a more “popular” monitor and I am VERY pleased with it. Super easy to set up. Free for first year the $29 a year after that. It alerts if temp falls outside of parameters I have set; as well as as humidity or if electric goes off.

A LIFESAVER (literally)

I am eternally greatful for this device. My dog and I live in a truck camper. I left him with the ac on to go to an event and got the notification saying that the temperature was exceeding the set limit I rushed home and the ac had unexpectedly turned off, still not sure what never happened before and hasn’t happened since, but without this monitor I don’t know what could have happened to him. I will forever be a thankful and loyal Necto user. On top of this device literally saving lives I love that it tells me when there’s a power outage and has battery backup. For rv life this product is truly irreplaceable

We travel for work and purchase with product for our Rv. There are parks that don’t have adequate power or your propane can run out unexpectedly. We have pets that travel with us so not knowing the temperature inside the Rv allows worried me. This gives us such a peace of mind knowing we will be alerted (text and email) if the temperature drops or exceeds your set comfort zone. I also love that there is no subscription fee! This product does run on cell service and a rechargeable back up battery so if your Rv does loose power your stilling get notified. I really can’t say enough good things about this product!!! My new adventure with it is going to be in the car when I run errands with my cat I won’t have to worry about if he is hot in the Truck.

Also guys you could use this in your home! Vehicle! Boat! Tent camping! And RV!

Camping Game Changer

We spent hours scouring Facebook groups about camping with dogs to decide on how to monitor the temperature when we would leave our dogs in the camper when they could not come with us. We were confused on how people would have a wifi camera set up at a campground watching a cheap LCD thermometer when most campgrounds don’t have wifi or if they do, wifi is abysmal. We wanted something more reliable and sturdy that would be able to be used boondocking and in more luxurious campgrounds. The Necto is the best!

One person in a FB group recommended Necto so we started looking into the business and we loved that cellular is included for the first 2 years whereas competitors were more expensive and you had to pay for cellular.

We used it for an entire weekend in the mountains of Colorado and it worked the entire time. We used it both when we were hooked up to electric and without electric at a wedding venue and we were surprised it barely loses battery over 5 hours of not being plugged in. From monitoring the temps at night for sleeping to monitoring the temps when we went to a wedding and had to leave the dogs behind, it worked flawlessly.

I appreciate the minimal packaging which felt more environmentally friendly and love that they had the QR code to register in the instruction manual.

UPDATE: living in a warm climate and camping at my state parks, this device has potentially saved my pups life twice as the campground power has gone out twice while I was away, both time I was able to monitor the temperature to make sure it don’t reach dangerous levels. I highly recommend this is you travel with animals.

Only used for one trip. Setup was pretty easy did have issue with setting the temperature and humidity high and low settings. Contacted them by email and because it was the weekend took few days to get back to me.

I was out paddle boarding and approximately 2 hours away from being able to return to my camper and I got a text saying the power went out. I called the campground and they confirmed it. I was able to keep an eye on the temperature and made sure it didn’t get too hot for my pup. It updates every 10 minutes. The power did come back on after 45 minutes and it texted me again. I was once again able to check and watch the temperature go back to what I had AC set at knowing the air was cooling the camper.

In this campground cellular is poor and this device had no problems keeping a constant signal.

I’ve owned other devices that check for temperatures and you can only check them a few times before they start to charge you a fee on top of their monthly fee.

This device has no monthly fee for 2 years and then I believe it’s $29.xx a year.

I love my purchase and would buy it again.

Monitoring with no Wifi required.

I was looking for a cellular enabled sensor to monitor my vacation home which doesn’t have wifi all year around. Necto was the easiest choice because it was the only one I could find without ridiculous monthly fees.

Setup was super simple and the device was able to connect to the network within a minute. So far the temperature and humidity readings seem very accurate.

I tested the power outage alert, by unplugging the sensor from the outlet. It took 1 minute for me to receive the power loss text and email alerts. I also tested the high temperature alert by changing the high threshold on the online dashboard, and I immediately received alerts.

I’m very happy with the purchase, and I highly recommend the device!
