NEEWER

These ms150c models are really nice and bright I use just to light my room with different colors but they also have yellow white and blue white led along with the RGB ones. Sometimes the app won’t recognize lights but I just unplug and plug back in and the app recognizes not big deal bc it also works. Quality is nice and so are the leds

No complaints about light quality, but the knob holding vertical position broke the very first time I used this light with a softbox, so now the light always looks down, I had to use a chair for support to make it through the photoshoot

This light is what you need to get the job done! It has power and its LED lights are brighter than expected. You need this in your life!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
I'm really impressed with the versatility and build quality of this light! The fan is super quiet and impressively successful at keeping the light cool. The app is good enough, but that's not what I bought it for. I haven't figured out how to get the music FX working to my liking yet, for example. But that's just an extra feature and not the reason I bought the light. I have it in the corner of my room, and I shine it at my ceiling to provide a soft ambient light that makes it easier to see my face on video calls. Using a lightbox or lantern would probably be better, but it works. I bought a 16.8V battery to go with it, but am waiting for the D-tap to DC cable before I can report on that. But just know that there are compatible v-mount batteries on the market that will work with this light. I bought the Neewer PS099E.
Functionality:
1) Brightness is plenty for an individual light. 2) Large spectrum of white options. 3) RGBW. 4) Quiet fan
Fit:
I LOVE that it came with a carrying case. That's why I bought this one over similar models.

As with most Neewer gear, you get what you pay for. If you treat these lights well, they will last a long time and will provide a great qulity of light! the bluetooth control is sweet! This light provided the perfect aount of light for interior headshots using an 85inch octo with grid!

This Neewer light is fantastic for adding vibrant color to my photoshoots! While the attachment didn’t come with it, the light itself more than made up for it. It’s strong enough to create a bold, colorful background that really makes the images pop. The range of colors is impressive, and it’s been such a fun, affordable addition to my creative setup. Perfect for photographers looking to add a little extra flair to their work!

Awesome light. As a musician I wanted something quiet, RGB with good presets, and that was app-controlled. The fan is so quiet in auto and low mode. If you set it on high, it is noticeable, but it’s a soft noise. I don’t think I’ll ever need it on high. With the power supply outside it runs cooler than most.
It gets extremely bright without a filter or soft box, and is still powerful enough with a soft box. It has a lot of presets that are nice also.
The only thing I don’t love is the interface on the light itself. It’s ok, but not super intuitive. I’m sure I’ll get used to it more or just use the app when I need to fine tune. This is the only reason I give it 4 stars.

Worked great for a rim light to assist in adding a school color option to media day photos. Battery life held with no issues. I love to easy feature mode to change colors as well. Not super expensive for the quality.
