Affordable lighting for tabletop macro work

Perfect for entry-level tabletop lighting and photography of small parts. Run time at 25% output outlasted my patience with the work, about five hours. Photos are before and after these Neewer basic lights. Also great for lighting stop-motion video with Lego figures.

I like that the light is very lightweight durable easy to change the colors as many features and special effects. I highly recommend buying this magnetized light. It’s made out of great quality material and it’s easy to function and I couldn’t be more happier that I bought it.

Valuable product

It is great light with power and different functions, wide variety of tones and hues. It is just tedious to need to press the bottom 40-50 times to change the hues or the power. It is a great product for the price though.

Best value for money on these SUPER bright, colorful lights

Love these handy little guys. I’ve been using them in the background of my streams and they have been excellent! They provide very concentrated colors and add a nice layer of ambiance. They do get a little hot, especially when plugged in while running, but it’s never been too much. The white/yellow light is VERY bright, so they’ll be great for a portable kit as well. Super small, affordable, and just a REAL bang for your buck.

Quality product

Neewer makes good products. I find these low power lights very handy for a weak fill on my video camera. I'd like if the controls were knobs and not just push buttons but it works well. Decent battery life. The magnet is good and nice to have but I really don't know when it would be used-

Small size, great power

Got the promo with discount when buying more than 1 and was a good decision. Small size, good amount of light, easy for recharge. Don’t feel it overheat or anything. The magnets on its back make it versatile.

Would buy again, but…

Wish there was an app but it’s cheap so I also understand why there isn’t. It’s bright and has good modes. Might need a cheat sheet on how to get this thing to do what you want. If I was in a pinch and needed another practical, buying another one of these for sure. In the video I shared it is the reddish orange light off camera.

Llego a Perú sin problemas

Me parece un producto perfecto para iluminar en cualquier parte del mundo, lo puedes llevar en tu bolsillo. Tienes todos los colores, lo que sí debería mejorar es la duración de la batería, por el resto todo ok.

Neewer as a brand is fantastic and I have 4 of these bad boys

If you can't tell by the headline, I really like these lights. I don't have 4 because they aren't good - I have 4 BECAUSE they are that good and I use them for so many things outside of photography/videography!

For example these make incredible lights if you have a power outage!

1) They have a strong magnet on them so you can put them on magnetized metal, a totally awesome feature

2) They have 3 cold shoe mounts for other accessories/other lights - I've used them for everything from the main lighting source to background accent lighting

3) They are USB-C - a must for me in 2025

4) They have many built-in modes such as ones to simulate lightning outside or static from a TV

5) They are completely customizable as far as color and brightness - 1 to 100 percent brightness and any color you can imagine

6) They are incredibly light (and still well built). They're only 126 grams or 4.4 ounces.

I've never been disappointed with a product from Neewer and these lights only indicate to me that their quality and care has only gone up. (Keen eyes will also notice the two Neewer cell phone mounts on the other two lights ;) )

Useful little light

Well built, brite and great features. RGB settimgs and buycolor settings are helpful. Can be conected to 2, 3 or lights. You could make a light pannel out of 2 or lights linked together. Yes I would recommend to a friend.

Nice and convenient, with multiple options

I was kind of skeptical when i got this for my DLSR cameras, but after learning the functionality of it and all the lighting capabilities, I was truly impressed and will probably be buying another one. A perfect item to have in your camera bag for all your creative photography. The lcd screen on the back to show the settings is a big plus 5/5.

Esta luz pequeña es fácil de transportar y usar, muy eficiente para esas ocasiones en las que estas apurado y quieres una luz al instante para no perder ese momento tan valioso por capturar en tu imagen. La crítica que doy es que no es la mas potente en brillo y la bateria no aguanta al 100% de brillo 1 hora completa en eventos

Wow! 4 stars only because I just got it

So I ordered one of these to use in the desert during a night shoot. It is so bright, & 100% is a ridiculous amount of light. I got it today & just ordered another one because you can connect them! Small light but it packs a big punch! Love the settings and effects too!

Fantastic Light For Handheld Video

I really like the Neewer products I have, and this is another. So far, Neewer is batting 1000 in my camera bag. This is a nifty and inexpensive video light. I'm really impressed by it.

Pros:

- Very light weight

- Long lasting battery

- Accurate CCT

- Powerful for its size

- Great value. Really impressed by how nice this is for the price!

- Cold shoe slots on 3 sides

Cons:

- None. Really. It's awesome.

Awesome for accent lighting

My video does a comparison with other similar RGB accent light options. This Neewer model however is a little brighter, has multiple functions (cop car, tv, candle, disco, etc) and also has the added diffusion for an even softer light. Obviously the more diffused it gets, the less "bright" it will appear, so it's not going to pump out a ton of light if you are trying to use it as your key light. If you are able to get it close enough however, it could still work for that purpose. This thing works awesome for accent lighting when you have a tight spot, need to just stick it to something metal, or don't have much space in your bag, then this is a great option. Kind of crazy that a light this nice and be sold for such a good price.

This video light works perfectly on my GoPro

The light is very well built and comes with three cold shoes, it has over 20 scene modes that I am still playing with, and the battery is actually respectable at 20mAh. There is about a 5 minute learning curb where you are trying to find your favorite color. Reading the directions is actually beneficial

The back of the light is magnetic so you can attach this to anything that is metal: an rv, chain linked fence, etc. It takes about two hours to fully charge and then it will give you roughly three hours continuously on the highest setting. My light came almost fully charged, which really impressed my because that tells me how long it can hold a charge.

I'm using mine behind the couch on the blue light setting to give accents to a backdrop. The build quality is very solid and I have seen similar lights cost 4x as much. When you receive the light it comes with the diffuser already on it, so you can see if you like it on it or not. If not, it just pops right off and you can play with other settings and colors.
