Bought For 1 Use, Found Another
So. Bought this to use as a teleprompter. Good reason right? Well, once we started making videos I realized I didn’t really need it because we typically improvise most of the conversation and we only put the outline in the prompts.
One issue we did have though was that when the videos were complete we found that many of the participants were constantly looking to the monitors to check that they were in frame. Solution? Replace the prompt screen with the monitor. Result? Perfection! Our participants love it and our shots could not be better. As for the quality of the video you would never know there was a piece of glass in the middle. It goes together really easily and is built like a tank. It has 2 side mounts that you mount any cold shoe accessories on. It’s fairly compact yet still evades the shot even with my 28mm lens. I will war though, it’s a decent weight and requires a larger sturdy tripod. Mine is a SmallRig AD-1 video tripod and it’s perfect.
