BRIGHT

This light is bright. Mine is more for decoration than use, but if you want to light up the dark this will do it. Mounting was easy and installation was, too.

I've had it for a while now and it works great. I have had no issues at all. It took about 5 minutes to install and is super easy to adjust.

Looks good - nightmare to put together

The light itself seems pretty quality for the price, however i am now 11 hours of total time into installing this and still am not done. I spent all day friday just mounting it on a nissan frontier, and almost all day saturday trying to wire it. The “instructions” suck, and i have it wired the exact way the wiring diagram tells you to, and it still does not work. Now i have to research this and figure out why. Absolute nightmare to put together despite its relative simplicity. If you’re thinking about getting one just have some time set aside. Also important to note that ive spent around 50 dollars on extra parts and tools i needed to get it done. I had to get a package of red and black 16 awg to splice and extend the power lines to the battery, which is on the passenger side because the firewall opening into the cab is on the driver side.

It took me a little bit to mount it, I drive a Jetta. It was pretty straight forward and easy to install. It’s super bright. I got it because it was about the same price as one of my bright bulbs (my headlights have two bulbs each and one bright is out). Will update my review after my 3k mile roadtrip.

Very bright!

I installed this led light bar on my Honda civic. It was very easy, the kit comes with everything you need. Only other tool I used was a drill to drill it in my bumper. It’s amazingly bright at night. Overall I’m very impressed.

Yet it didn’t include a male connector to hook the light cable to the installation cables. Few cents extra expense but a main in the neck nonetheless

Worst customer service

So over all the light is ok it performed well for a few months then the lens started to get condensation inside which the light is supposedly waterproof definitely isn't never took it through deep water only rain while driving so I tried to contact customer service 3 times no response at all. Buying all my lights from them now I won't anything from them which is really disappointing because I was happy with the lightbar at first but now they don't even respond I even waited a week to write this since the last time I tried to contact them

Nice light, Installation was somewhat difficult for me.

Like the way it looks and works on my 2009 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. It was a little difficult to install. Part of that reason is I installed it upside down on my grill guard, which made it pretty difficult to tighten the mounting and adjusting bolts. I did this so as to not block the air flow into the radiator. I also got shorter mounting bolts and nut caps for appearance purposes. The wiring wasn't too bad overall, but in order to get the plug on the harness from the engine compartment into the Explorer I was going to have to drill a BIG hole in the firewall. I resorted to cutting the connector off, drilling a hole just large enough for the cable to fit through, and then reconnected the plug with butt connectors. I also ordered a mounting piece for the switch, also from NiLight. The switch did not fit into the mounting piece. I had to modify it slightly to get the switch into it. I also tapped into the instrument cluster lighting for the backlighting on the switch. I may wind up changing out the switch because I thought this one was green, as are all of my dash lights, but it's blue. I checked and don't guess there is anywhere to select what color switch lighting you get when you order, or maybe I just missed it. Anyways, I spent most of my day doing this. I was in no hurry, and and pleased with the outcome.

Great product except…

Great light, bright and easy to install. Only issue I’m having is the back end of the wire harness, from the battery & relay to the switch. It’s too short and I don’t see any extensions on their website that would solve this problem. My battery is on the passenger side, which is the main reason for the issue. I’ve tried reaching out to the Contact Us email/form twice in almost 4 weeks with no response back. With the way I have the switch, I’m not able to really use it, which is super unfortunate. I’m only able to turn it on when I’m standing still.

Great product so far. Been on my truck for over a month and still holding up and bright.

Edited(11/26/21): Light has began to have moisture inside. All lights still work. Moisture really isn’t a big deal to me as long as the lights work.

Nice lightbar for the price

Light bar was easy to install with some basic tools and understanding. Everything came in the kit to fit my sxs. The bracket is sturdy, and the light is nice and bright!

Might not get the rocker switch

Light seems to be ok. Wiring kit is a little on cheap end. Low rating as other reviews description says you get a rocker switch. That is not the case with mine cheap switch sent. Have asked the company for correct part waiting on response.

Update 2-10-21 — emailed twice no response called number on company website goes to warehouse that just tells you to email the number. So frustrating

Very easy to install, light is bright. It is a little thick for the space I have infront for ford E -150

Nice Light Bar for the Xterra

Bought the 20” light bar with harness kit for 2008 Xterra. Ended up not using the harness kit as I wired it directly off the fog lights. Was able to handle the amperage since I converted the fogs to LED and they only draw about 2 amps. Much easier to install without doing the harness if you want the light bar to be on or off with your fogs. There is plenty of hardware in the kit and had a little modification in the bumper to make it work. I would recommend using clear silicone sealant around the inside of the light bar lens to prevent any water entering as I saw a post that it had happened to another buyer that water had gotten behind kens. Overall very nice and bright LED product and would recommend.

It works 100% of the time 50% of the time

Works half the time. Have to toggle the light switch a couple of times before the the complete lights bar lights up. Otherwise only half turns on. Install was simple and is pretty bright when working properly.

You pay extra money for the switch and they send you the cheaper one.

I paid the extra money for the square rocker, and they still send you the circle cheap one. No the one in the IMAGE! False advertising.

It’s a great light but did not come with the switch in the picture it came with a little cheap round switch I. The harness I had to buy another harness with the rocker switch like I thought I was getting

Well put together and simple installation

Overall I am very pleased with the light bar. It is extremely bright and seems well put together. Very simple installation, the most difficult part was figuring a way to cleanly run the wires out of view but I found the perfect spot to do so. The switch seems sturdy and is very distinctive when clicking on/off. We will see how it holds up overtime but as of now I am impressed.

Great purchase

Very easy to install, Super bright , they came with everything we needed to install. Came with enough wire to run the switches from The battery all the way to the above head spot where the garage opener is in my truck.
