I can't see why anyone would hate on this??
This groovebox is awesome and has essentially piqued my interest into the synth world. The format is just so intuitive that it has allowed me to push past the DAW-wall that has prevented me from music production in the past. I am still 100% a beginner, but I am at the point where I fully enjoy the process of making a beat, and that is all I really want out of this hobby. There are definitely some limitations and curiosities (can't use synth engine on 2 midi tracks, so you need external device(s) to use all 8 tracks??), but I don't even know what else I would really use within this price range that has all these features in one device. I know if I started with [let's say] the volca bass, which also can sequence and make some limited beats, I would have probably gotten bored with it and given up with no creation of delicious beats ever being made. I needed a clean and intuitive format that encompasses all aspects of edm production to truly dip my feet in the synth world. I can't recommend the Circuit Tracks as an expert, but I sure as hell can recommend it as a beginner just learning the hobby. 9/10
*tip: the korg NTS-1 is a great addition with the added FX and arpeggio beats.
