Worked for over a year, then decided to combust wires.

Broken and look used

I will be returning this product. The box was already open when I received it, looks dirty like someone used it before me and it was completely broken apart!

The type C port doesn’t work

Conceptually it was a great idea…all the types of cords you could charge, but it didn’t work. I have not been able to charge the type C plug since I got it. I’ve tried various cords, brands etc and none work in that outlet. I should have returned it but I like having the usb and standard outlets on one.

You can feel the quality!

I was very surprised at the weight when I opened the box. It's very good quality! It also has an attached band to keep the cord in place. This is exactly what I needed for travel.

Cruise compliant?

I bought this for a cruise. We used it in the hotel the night before. I liked how easy it was to have everything charging at once. Boarded the ship and one of two suitcases showed up at our room. I had to ask about the 2nd at 7 pm, and it showed up with a note inside that they confiscated my extension cord as a prohibited item, so I wasn’t able to use it for my cruise. Other reviewers stated it was great on a cruise. Maybe it was an overzealous security guy at the Miami port? There were quite a few similar units on the table when I retrieved it. I’ll have to find one that doesn’t have a cord for future cruises and use this one at home.

Super handy. Packs in a bag without adding too much weight or taking up a lot of space

I use a triple monitor attachment to my laptop when I travel, and it requires short cord access to external power supply, so this helps make sure I always have a socket nearby. With 2x 3-prong jacks, 2x 2-prong jacks, and 3 USB-A jacks, it offers the right balance of size, capacity and versatility for what I need, and it is lightweight and compact enough to easily stow in my carry on bag or backpack.

Great traveling extension cord

I got it to use on a Carnival cruise. Since it has 3 USB ports, it's perfect for the ship. It's my go-to extension cord when I'm traveling and can be used every day. This is a great find and I can't live without it. Get one too, I highly recommend it.

A small fault

This product is an absolute life saver and is extremely convenient, but the cord seems to be easily damaged, but i could hardly call this damage. It doesn’t effect the quality or anything like that, it just raises concerns for future damage because of the inner cord being exposed.

Travel necessity!

This is essential for travel.

It is the most compact and lightweight I’ve found, as well as having good extension to it.

You can see my three current varieties in the photo. The PowerAdd 3.4amp, and the Anker PowerCube.

The PowerAdd has a very short, stiff cable, and only 2 outlets and 2 USBs.

The Anker has 3 outlets and 3 USBs as well as a long cord, but not nearly as compact.

This one (in the middle) has 2 grounded outlets, 2 ungrounded, and 3 USBs. And the long cord wraps around the device for travel. Absolutely love it.

While this is still good for travel, others are more compact.

I like that the power strip packs up neatly and has a band to stretch around it to keep it packaged as small as possible. I have other power strips that aren’t as thick as this one but they also don’t stow the cord. I guess it comes down to your personal preference. This power strip by NTONPOWER provides you with two USB A ports, one USB C port, one three prong outlet, and one two prong outlet. That makes it fairly versatile and the three foot cord helps make it easy to plug in in most situations however, I really wish it had a six foot cord!

Great Compact extension cord

I am constantly in search of good extension cords to use when I travel. I think I found a great one with this. I liked that it is very compact and allows me to charge up to five devices. I loved that this is very ideal when traveling and you only get limited electrical outlets to use. This is specially great when I go on cruises. For me, this is so worth it. By the way, there’s two regular usb and one c-type usb plugs. Great to charge my iPhone, iPad and iWatch …without bring the bulky usb plugs.

Watch the marketing hype, but it is a nice product.

I like the small size of the Pocket Power which is a travel sized power strip with two outlets and three USB ports. It is small but they unnecessarily exaggerate their marketing claims on the second bullet. They say "... NTONPOWER travel power strip with usb c ports is 20% smaller than a credit card". I don't think this is true, see my photo of their product next to a credit card. If anything, it is larger than a credit card and much thicker. But it will still fit in my pocket.

I frequently travel and do know that cruise ships have restrictions on power strips with surge protection. I plan on taking this with me on an upcoming trip to South America and then another after that to Hungry and Romania. I do recognize that when in a hotel, I may also have to have a voltage converter since that is not part of the electronics on this device. My primary need is going to be the USB charging port of which there are three. One is a USB-C and the other two are USB-A ports. These USB ports provide up to 5 volts and 2.4 amps and the unit comes with electronics to handle the needs of your devices. For me this would be two phones and a rechargeable flashlight or dental flosser. I can plug my Steam Deck into the outlet, so I'll have everything I need.

Nice, compact travel charging power strip

I travel a lot for multi day bike rides and usually have 4 or 5 things to charge overnight. This power strip is fantastic for my needs.

The strip is VERY compact and is about 4.75 inches long (with the plug inserted for storage), 2.5 inches wide and 1.75 inches high. Perfect for throwing in a handbag, pocket or backpack. The body has a lip so that you can wind the cord around the strip and keep it nice and neat. After it's wound, the wall plug is inserted into one of the outlets to keep it in place. To make sure everything stays in place, there is a built in rubber cord that wraps around the whole thing. Very nicely designed.

You can plug 2 devices into the outlets, 2 USB-A devices and one USB-C cord at the same time.

For under $15, you can get a nice, compact and well designed power strip.

Handy charger with cord slot and elastic for storage

Handy little charger for travel. Has two USB-A, a USB-C, and two A/C plug ins. The cord power it is stored by wrapping around the unit, plugging the end into one of the A/C plugs, then wrapping the attached elastic around it to hold it. I love that it's contained like that. Works great, and isn't too big for my travel case.

The Final Test

Definitely Small, Know Your Needs!

UPDATE March 22, 2023: The two USB-A ports have stopped working. Adjusting my review accordingly.

I ordered the NTONPOWER Portable Power Strip with 2 Outlets 3 USB Ports(1 USB-C), 3ft. It is February 20, 2023. Let's see if it passes The Final Test!

+1) The cord self wraps and is held in place with a fixed elastic band. This here is key. If the cord doesn't self store, I might as well pack a power strip.

2) DC power output peaks at 15.5W. That's fast charge for a lot of people. Me, i'm going to still pack my GaN brick.

3) Ports... seem decent. Three USBs total, so one for a phone, one for a watch, one for earbuds? Then you've got a place to plug in a laptop. Seems enough for one person, with one outlet to spare.

-4) But that 4th outlet.. So it hides on the side of the device underneath where the cord wraps. That's not a terrible place to put it because 99% of the time when you're using it, you won't have the cord wrapped up. But, there are lips on either edge that could potentially interfere with some charging bricks so keep that in mind. It only fit a handful of mine. Definitely not my GaN.

5) Love the angled flat plug and the ability to simply lock in place into that top outlet.

$$) This thing goes for $15 right now.. guys, gals, and others, this is a crowded segment. This NTONPOWER strip is pretty small and definitely portable. But there's competition from Tessan that gives you the same USB ports but 4 fully grounded AC outlets for $19 and it's only a touch bigger. OR, if you need speed, Anker's GaN Prime gives you 65W of power for $70.

The "box" for this device measures roughly 2.5" x 3.75", and has a depth of 2.75", all measurements exclude the cord.

This item earned a C for Meeting Expectations.

Slim design Not fast charging

Picked this cord up for an upcoming vacation. I like the slim design even the plug is slim so it'll fit behind furniture if needed. My only issue is the USB and USB-C ports are not rapid charging. If you want a quick charge you need to pack your charging block as well

Power strip

I liked that it is small with the different adopters, feel

Sturdy. The cord should’ve been a little longer

good for domestic travel

Even though its mentioned the most important detail is the 125 v. So you can’t use this in many places outside the us. Also as a travel charger its major challenge is the 3 prong socket so won’t fit in some outlets. As such I find this a useful basic device buts its limited.

Best for someone travelling to hotels throughout the US.

Can charge all my devices, laptop, simultaneously

My new power block has a quality build, and creative design, and i have been able to charge all my devices and PC at the same time using this device, which i really like. This power block has an attached short extension cord, which I like as this avoids me having to plug a large power block directly into my wall outlet, keeping other outlets unencumbered. The power block has 2 usb-a and 1 usb-c plug, for my phone, smartwatch and headset, and 2 plugs for power cords I have been using for my laptop and also my lamp, which I like. I like this power block / power strip, and recommend it.
