Music playback was great after some tweaking. Connected to my phone with zero issues. Loved how I could control the volume and forward and back buttons without reaching for my phone. Unfortunately, it broke with light use after 2 months. Trying to contact the seller, but feels impossible. Went to their website so hope there is an actual warranty.

Fell Apart!
*** Update ***
Updating this review to 5 stars for the customer service. Reached out to manufacturer, and even though it was past the 1 year warranty period, they kindly sent me a replacement, and it works perfectly. Excellent customer service, would purchase from them again.
Original review:
Went to plug it in today, and it literally fell apart! The piece that plugs into the AC outlet just broke apart into several pieces (see photos). I was always careful with the adapter, never dropped or otherwise abused it, so there should be no reason for it to fall apart like it did.

No Frill FM-Bluetooth Transmitter
This is really a no frills FM-Bluetooth Transmitter. But there are some faults to this. Let me share the bad then move on to the good. But let me share this major tip. Set the transmitter volume to maximum.
While this is a FM-Bluetooth transmitter, it is really is not meant for phone to phone conversation & this product isn't it's strongest feature. Why? Let me explain. When making or receiving a call. You have to press your preset radio station if it's not already chosen to make or receive calls. Especially if you are listening to another preset radio station. It can be annoying to hit that FM Transmitter station. This has happened to me on several occasions. But it'll be repetitive soon.
Now several users has mentioned about the feedback noise. While this is true and it stems from the alternator. It's only when you are on a bluetooth call and the radio volume is on a very high setting. However, this does not affect during bluetooth music streaming or using the USB Drive. What I mean is that, when you need to hear someone from the other end of a phone call. The transmitter isn't as strong to produce the sound to all speakers. Even when you have your phone bluetooth volume on maximum. YOu need to turn up the volume from your radio head unit. But again this also depends on your own car speakers as well. So that is one feature that could be improved if the manufacture decides to do so.
My other annoyance, is the USB connection. Depending on the cable or USB drive you use. It can be somewhat a tight fit as you can see in my pic. Sure I can buy a right angle cord to charge my phone. But why add more cables to my collection?
Now for the USB drive. This can be somewhat a good thing and a bad thing. Upon start up. It can either be recognized or not. Sometimes while playing it'll just go to "unrecognized" for several seconds. Then it comes back again. This product only plays MP3's. No wav, mp4. I cannot comment on AAC or ALAC as I don't have songs in those format. So if you going to bring your music onto a USB Drive. Be sure it's in a format that the KM 30 can play. I haven't tried the SD card feature as of yet. So I will make an update at a later time.
The good.
The Bluetooth streaming is great. Providing you set your equalizer on your phone correctly or neutral. Most modern Smartphones has an EQ feature. So I suggest you play your favorite song or a song that has a balance of bass, treble and mids. This will ensure that whatever streaming music you use. You will get that sound great. Even with the OEM speakers. Once that is complete. You will want to adjust your stock your radio sound settings. Most stock radio has bass, mids and treble. Set those at neutral and adjust accordingly. Then move onto the KM30 bass and treble and adjust accordingly. This will take some to get the sound you are after from your .
Using a USB Drive? Well this all depends on your music library. If you have a library of music on a hard drive, not all music are set a particular bit rate (kbps). I know I don't. I have bit rates ranging from 92kbps to 320kbps. So the best method from my 2 week experience. Again find a music that is really balanced with bass, mids and treble and have a 128kbps. I actually used Metallica- Hollier than Thou and Delinquent Habits - California. Yes I have a wide range of music taste when I cruise. When you play you will have to make adjustments to the bass, mids and treble from your stock radio and from the KM30.
So music lovers between normal radio stations, music streaming to music on a USB drive. You will need to find that balance of sound. While this might be a pain. It's so much better than making a phone call.
Again this is a no frills FM-Bluetooth Transmitter. This works perfect for older cars once the sound is dialed in correctly.
My only suggestion that this product would have an edge over the others. If this could pivot left and right. But that is a small pet peeve on my part.
Enjoy!

works great in my truck and brotehrs newer car
Very good qaulity and is easy to use. I gave it to my brother so he can listen to music off of his phone and it connects very easy. The lights are actually awesome and gives a bunch of information when using it. I seen this in stores for double the price so the price is great for the item.

Sound quality is quite good but lack of position adjustability could be improved upon.
Things I like:
Sound quality
Display brightness and size makes it very easy to see
Bluetooth connectivity was easy
Buttons are easy to see and use
Things I’m not crazy about
Adjustability for the position of the unit. I drive a 2002 Miata and it’s very cramped when hitting 5th gear. Bumps my knuckles if I don’t remember to open and shift with my palm.
The position of the USB port is on the side of the unit towards the stick shift. Again very cramped. I realize not all vehicles have the 12V adapter on the right of the shift, but for those that do you might want to think twice about purchasing if there isn’t much space between it and the stick.
Bass boost doesn’t seem to do much.
I would buy again as it seems to be of good quality and meets my needs.

Good for the price and design for my vehicle.
This fit like a glove in my 2003 Forester. My phone works well with it. I was going to use the analog out but the FM signal is so strong I just left it with that. I left the Analog in with my old Garmin MP3/Map since it has a bigger screen to better shuffle my collection. I usually use the Nulaxy for radio talk of books on tape, podcasts. It handles phone calls very well and the caller can hear me very well. Only gripe is I wish it would wait just a bit more after power on to attempt to connect to the phone. When I start my car from accessory mode, the quick on and off doesn't always re-sync. However this is minor and I've trained my self to hold the key on turnover one more second :-) . As other have noted you can power cycle the device by holding TREBLE.

Low play volume
Didn’t work for me. I don’t know if I had a bad one or what. I have a 2012 Nissan Armada Platinum 4x4. You can see from the short video, I turn the volume knob on KM30 up. The sound and the equalizer graph both go down when they should be going up. You can also hear the sound through radio seems to clip when adjusting volume on the KM30. I tried both FM and AUX. I tried pulling out KM30 and putting it back. Removing device and reinstalling it on Bluetooth. I tried both iPhone 11 and iPad Pro 3rd gen. Trying multiple music apps and YouTube. Tried multiple radio stations. Changed all the EQ settings. All with the same results. I could only connect one device at a time. So if you have multiple users.

Awesome Little Device
I purchased this for my 2002 Escalade after having a difficult time finding a decent head unit that fit the 1.5 din space. This is by far the most excited I’ve been to spend around $20 in a long time. It connects instantly and the added bass, treble and volume controls are awesome. No wiring, no frustration. Just music from your smart phone and hands free calling for older vehicles!

Lasts about a year
I purchased the device in late December 2022, and it lasted until early February 2024, so I got about 13 months of use out of it.
I exclusively used this with a USB stick and shuffled songs from there. The "Shuffle" feature has a tendency to pick the same songs in the same order each session. It will always start with the last song it was playing, but the next song up will always be the same next song each time I drive. A workaround for this is to press the "previous song" button while the first song is still playing. The system will then pick a more randomized song, but still only stick to 1-2 dozen songs for the second song chosen. It's up to chance whether I wind up with another set of songs in the same order or some actual randomization from there.
Some of my songs were missing some of their instruments. I'm not really sure how this device managed to do that with mp3s, since instruments aren't on separate tracks like they are for midis... Most of the songs were fine enough though. I did have to edit all the files to be louder internally than I have for other systems in the past, but that was easy enough to do and didn't really effect usability so much.
The weight of the head pulled itself down, making it hard to keep the display upright. I eventually duct taped the joint to keep it from drooping. I occasionally had to replace the duct tape, as the weight would eventually work its way through the integrity of the tape.
Today was when actual parts separated on the device. It just took a small bump to happen (a small pothole in the road). My car and tires took no damage (as it was a very small pothole), but it was enough to jostle the tip of this device to separate into pieces.
Still, it was at least worth having for the time I had it, even with all these issues.

Great for older vehicles that don't come with bluetooth capability
I have 2 "older" vehicles that don't come with bluetooth capabilities so once i found this product I was so relieved. Me and my daughter love to listen to our own music from our apple music library and don't want to have to listen to the radio and commercials. This product is easy to hook up and easy to use. Once I turn my vehicle and my phone is within range, the transmitter automatically hooks up and I don't have to do anything else! I can't say enough good things about it! Its small and compact so it doesn't take up a bunch of room!

Strong FM Signal, clear music but very flat ...lacking BASS !
It covered up any static on the chosen FM freq , i tried Freq's around 88 mhz . Using this in my shop, I walked away with a portable FM radio and there was no FM static until around 45 feet away . At 45 ft there was a slight FM hiss but the signal was still good out to around 75 ft with occasional static spots . After 75 it started dropping and by 85 ft the signal was gone . I think if someone can (for testing purposes only) open this thing up , find the solder point where the internal antenna is and m0d this by adding a piece of wire 28 in to 33 inches , this would send out a solid signal that could cover your entire house and yard . Only thing i could complain is that although it produces a very clear and quality signal, it is a very lacking in bass . I went into it's setting and lowered the treble almost all the way ...and boosted the bass to +5 and while the treble control works, the bass control does seemingly nothing. If you don't have ability to boost the bass ALOT then pass on this one. Granted I am listening on a few small panasonic RF 2400d portable radios around my shop which only have a single 3" full range speaker and are not bass heavy ... but another fm transmitter (non BT) i have sends out a much more full signal with actual bass . Buttons and dial feel very solid and quality .... Bluetooth format is already a pretty comprimised medium so you cant expect audiophile grade sound but for bluetooth and FM and 22 bux it's not bad , just very lacking bass .

For some android if you don't detect the KM30 in your cellphone bluetooth connection try to delete one those old bluetooth that you are not using anymore and then try to refresh.

Perfect for Non-Bluetooth radio applications!!!
This unit is compact, and fits in almost any location with an aux power outlet. I am an audiophile and require quality sound for my music. This unit does the job, and offers adjustable treble and bass. Easily tune to a lower fm frequency, match it to the transmitter and VIOLA!! Once paired, you can skip through your playlists with the fwd and back buttons, keeping you hands off your phone. Phone calls play through the cars speakers and the unit had a microphone which does the job nicely. Song playing is displayed on screen and also shows which device is connected. Long push of treble button turns unit off, to avoid constantly removing and installing. HIGHLY E

Worth a buy, but don’t have high expectations
I bought this for my 2006 Lexus IS250 because my aux port went bad. I had a Bluetooth transmitter using my aux port that had way better sound quality than this item…
This item will not be just as good as using your aux port no matter what anyone says. I have to crank the volumes on my stereo to max to get the same sound volume as my other transmitter.
The bad side of cranking the volume that high is that you can hear the high pitch frequency white noise through your speakers.
The plus side is that this is very convenient and it works well, but don’t expect it to be on par as playing a CD in your stereo. This does give you some additional volume settings that you can mess around with. The sound is still decent and for what you’re paying, you can’t complain.
If your vehicle never came with an aux port than, this is a good pick up to solve that issue. I have a replacement aux on the way and what’s I fix it, I’ll be taking this out of my vehicle, but it’s good to know I have a quick backup.

Vicsting vs nulaxy km30 FM transmitter comparison
I was very stuck between this victsing transmitter and the nulaxy km30 after reading SO MANY positive reviews on both. I decide to try them both out and compare; nulaxy won for me.
Victsing Pros: Majority user friendly. The biggest Pro is it takes all the fuss out of matching white noise open channels by simply hitting the Channel search button. Then it finds an open channel for you and you simply match your radio to it. No need to pull over, easy peasy. It is quality made, even the bendy neck, much better than I expected. If your hookup is low or far away, the added tenth from the bending neck make it more accessible to reach. The channel, skip buttons, and green call knob all light up to easily find them in the dark as well as multicolored screen. If the screen is too bright at night, simply bend the neck and turn it away. Aux input cord, USB port, and SD card slot for music and also acts as a phone charger port.
Cons: Biggest and my personal deciding factor; Sound. The Mic is literally one single pin hole so it doesn't pic up my voice well and those on other end of call have a hard time hearing me, even worse on highway. Even with my radio on full volume, my phone, and this transmitter on blast, it's not that high or great sound quality. The music sound was good, but again not that great. The lights on buttons and screen can be quite bright causing you to turn screen away. Sometimes when turning it by bendy neck, you can accidentally pop the whole unit out of the lighter adapter.
Pros of the nulaxy:the Mic on the nulaxy is much larger and picks up my voice much better even on the highway. I can always hear others clearly. Playing music is FAR more supreme with the nulaxy and I can even adjust bass. It is very well made and even a rubber piece on the end of plug in so it NEVER moves or gets budged while plugged into lighter port. The screen is colored and goes with music but not to bright to bother my eyes at night. I can move it up a bit as it moves up and down(not side to side).
Cons:What I still don't like about the nulaxy is I have to find the open white noise channel on that and then adjust my radio vs just hit channel button and the device finds open channel like the vicsting does. If you travel out of your area a lot, therefore needing to adjust to open stations, that may be a real pain. I do not leave my area often so this was something I could live with. Also, there only no lights on the the buttons, except the bass button, making adjusting channels/skipping a pain in the dark. You kind of have to get used to where the buttons are and it becomes memory so you don't need to even look or have lights on buttons. Due to lighting/having to find channel yourself; many may have to set up before they drive or pull over when changing states to reset up safely. So if you need the lights and channel search option the nulaxy will probably be a problem for you. Also it doesn't have the extra couple inch length to stick out of the lighter port that the vicsting does with it's bendy neck; so if you need that length, the nulaxy is not the better choice for you.
For me, the winner was the nulaxy for sound quality. Added pics of both for reference. Hope this helps :)

Factory radio without AUX or Bluetooth? One stop fix for both!
I have had owned several Bluetooth FM transceivers and this is my favorite. Strong FM TX. Bluetooth is quick to connect. The rubber 12/24v socket is stout however I do see it wearing out with extended plug/pull. Harmonics are as good as AUX directly connected. The active spectrum analyzer (even on Bluetooth connectivity) is nice and not distracting unless looking at it. Big button for play/pause is great so I don't have to fumble around with little buttons when driving. Side 5v USB both ports output power and run my dash cam and GPS without issues. Haven't tested the Micro SD but I'm sure it's good considering the quality of the rest of the build. Only gripe is wish the screen was bigger but then it would be too bright for night driving without dimming. Highly recommend 👌

I love this little thing!
My car has an auxiliary port so I didn’t necessarily need an FM transmitter. I’ve just always wanted a little media player that that would read and play tracks off of an card or flash drive. Then Voila, along comes this thing. It’s perfect for just that. I like that it has the option to use a wired audio connection out. But honestly, the FM transmission sounds just as good. Great Device and can’t beat $20. The only issue I’ve had is that my first flash drive, Sandisk Cruzer Fit, loaded with music wasn’t recognized. Other flash drives have worked fine.

I'm impressed so you should be too!
Honestly I was not expecting this little Bluetooth receiver to be this impressive, I was wrong! It is cool looking and performs very well. A little smaller than I expected and may be a little tricky to press the smaller buttons for some people, but really don't need to mess with it once set up. Connected to my Galaxy S7 with no problem and started streaming Pandora into my 2003 Suburban's audio system which sounds great. Hands free phone calls perform very well with the Mic clearly picking up my voice while going 70mph down the expressway - the person on the other end commented that I sounded very clear and didn't sound like I was "in a can" like my other Bluetooth car receiver. The Spectrum analyzer provides a cool display and accurately responds to the music in both intensity and frequency. I'd definitely buy again.

Sound quality is great
I originally bought the KM18 and I really liked that one but my bf got a new car so I thought I would get him one too. I got the KM30 and I love it. I love how it fits where the cigarette lighter is. The KM18 would hang over the seat and get in the way but this one doesn’t do that. I like the screen because it shows what song is playing and has the cool color display that goes with the music. The sound is great and even has a bass and treble control. It tells how long the song is. The calls sound perfect too and there is a little speaker that I haven’t quite figured out what is for yet. I’m keeping this one and giving the KM18 to my boyfriend.
