I don’t usually write reviews— much less 1 star reviews….I’ve had these headphones since 02/2026 today is 08/13/2026 and the headphones do not work as they should. I use it primarily for the gym and when I lounge to listen to music. The Bluetooth function no longer works and it only connects via usbc (not wireless). I understand electronics don’t last a lifetime, but 6 months for this price range is a very poor life expectancy for the price— I have $30 headphones that still function as they should. As sleek as the design is, I would recommend a different headphone. Function should be priority number one and unfortunately either quality control or the general product is poor quality.

Quality control!
2 star because of the sound quality is actually good. However, the quality of the physical headphone is subpar for the price. The ear silicon falls off easily.

Not great for the price
Initial impressions; these are obviously a very Niche kind of headphone so for some of its failures, I give it a soft pass.
I find the sound quality to be very good. However, one side is clearly much better than the other. That seems completely unacceptable for $300 headphones. Just wild. It's pretty easy to tell a difference.
The comfort is not great. Many if not most of the over-the-ear headsets are shaped slightly oval more like the human ear. This perfectly round circle does not conform to the face and head structure very well. Moreover, the padding is extremely thin. I mean it's very bad and... a real knock on these for anybody who wears them. I can feel it on my facial bones from the moment I wear them. These are uncomfortable immediately and I will have to find a way to construct some better padding.
They also do touch the ears in several spots so you're not going to get a full clearance unless you're a small person or a small ears.
I'd give it two out of five stars except these are Niche and I appreciate the creativity so three out of five. But yo the padding and shape of these has to change if there's a second generation. I'd love to see the price be around 150 bucks. $300 for uncomfortable headphones is rough.

Great open-ear headset, but not ideal for video conferencing
As a remote IT worker, I typically use my Shure microphone and Jabra external speaker for daily work. I don’t like wearing headsets all the time because they cause heat buildup around my ears, and I can’t hear myself clearly when speaking. I bought the NWM One to replicate the external speaker experience while still being able to hear myself, which was my main reason for trying it. In that regard, it delivers exactly what I wanted—though with some caveats.
In my setup, I only use the NWM One for audio output and rely on my Shure mic for input. The microphone quality on the NWM One is acceptable but nowhere near a replacement for the Shure, which is expected. The headset works fine with Microsoft Teams, but unfortunately, it does not work with Webex, which I use 99% of the time.
While I like the product and it performs well for casual use, it does not fit my specific use case. For that reason, I’ll be returning it.

Lightweight beautiful headphones with great sound
These are the best headphones I had for a while. The sound quality is fantastic, no pressure on ears, and I can still hear my child crying even when I’m working.
The only problem is I ordered two pairs in light gray, but received them in black, which is disappointing.

I'm loving it.
I needed a good hear through headphones and this one did not disappoint. Super lightweight and built solidly. It looks majestic as well.
I ordered black but I was sent a white pair and I'm very happy with the beautiful accident. White looks clean.
Only negative is it tends to slip off when leaning forward at a certain angle sometimes.

Sound leak resistant, delicate open headphones that make you wish there was more bass
Sound:
Highs and mids are good. Instrumentals sound good. Violin concertos and vocals are about similar to my Sennheiser 558's, but it's even more open on the NWMs
Bass is ok, but it's even more open than a Sennheiser so I'm not sure why anyone would expect otherwise. An example would be Mt.Woe by Ford Mustang at 2:00. You can tell that the highs are great, but the bass has no presence.
However, you can tell it can work with psytrance bass like in Kazabubu by Infected Mushroom at 4:32-4:44 but again, no presence.
At the same perceived volume, the leakage is significantly less than a Sennheiser 558. I can hear my 558's yapping from 4-5 feet away with no problem, but the NWM's are whispering.
Small adjustments to headphone fitment will drastically change the sound. The drivers also swivel inwards so they point at your ear canal instead of being parallel to your head. The height needs to be adjusted to your liking. All these make an impact.
The headphone gets plenty loud and will hurt your ears if you let it. If you think it's not loud enough, maybe try googling "bluetooth volume not loud enough" and read up on known issues regarding media volume sync or absolute volume.
Microphone:
Definitely has some sort of DSP that filters out random noises like table taps, mouse clicks, and typing. Works well enough for me. I'm not sure you'd want to be using it in a noisy environment anyway because these aren't noise cancelling.
Build:
Good quality overall, but ear cups are poorly designed. I've attached pictures to show how fragile the wiring is. The ear cup pivot has no stop. It's movement is limited by the wire, which itself is fragile.
You should treat the headphones delicately and always hold both ear cups at a time. If you take off your headphones one ear cup at a time you will stress the wiring and connections.
Comfort:
Pretty comfortable for my average head. There is no padding in the rubber ear "pads". It's extremely light at 185 grams, which is half the weight of airpod maxes.
Accessories:
None, but it'd be nice if they gave a clamshell case since the headphones would probably get destroyed in backpack.
They're not just AKG 1000's? It looks uncomfortable! Isn't this just an open back headphone?
Nah, they're different and if you're looking for something come close to your Sennheiser 558's from 2015, need bluetooth, cooler ears, and are willing to pay a premium then this will probably work.
Unfortunately, the sound quality isn't that amazing so I will be returning these. The fragility of the wiring is also something I'd be very worried about as well.
It's a 3.5/5 for me

They will never leave my head!!!
As a headphone enthusiast, I have found the official daily drivers I have been looking for. I have been rocking these unique open headphones for over a week now and can honestly say that I love these, I have barely taken them off even during sleep time I have had no issues as far as comfort goes, these are king to me.
The sound on these for what they are really is incredible for what it puts out, considering that it has 2 different drivers in them you most definitely can tell that they are doing their job in the lows, mids and highs.
Finally I said that comfort is king but also the experience with these on are just different in a great way, the fact that I get to experience the sound from the outside world in its natural state while having these pointed at my ears is a whole different feel especially when you feel the wind blowing through and giving your ears a great sensation... It's so hard to explain but you have to have these to understand where I'm coming from. These NWM One would get more than 5 stars if I could give them more especially being the first of its kind from my perspective.
