A Worthy Upgrade! Moving from the Tiny 2 Lite to the Ultimate 4K PTZ Camera

Having previously used the OBSBOT Tiny 2 Lite, I was already a big fan of the brand's tracking capabilities and smooth performance. Stepping up to the new OBSBOT Tiny 3 has been an absolutely fantastic upgrade.

The most noticeable leap is the incredible 4K image quality, which delivers massive clarity compared to what I was used to. It is SO cool!

This product is so cool. In the tracking mode, the camera can follow me all the time. This is super convenient when I have to showcase my work and need to move.

Great finish and material, feels like Apple product. It is very tiny to fit in my workspace.

Good AI camera with great video quality. The 4K resolution is crystal clear for my meetings, and the AI tracking works smoothly without any delay. It was very easy to set up on my monitor. The spatial audio also picks up my voice perfectly. Highly recommend it!

small webcam with great features

This webcam exceeded my expectations. It’s very small compared to my other webcam, the Anker PowerConf C200, which makes it easy to fit into my setup. The setup process was simple, although it took me a little time to figure out how the app works. Once I got the hang of it, it became very easy to use. The AI features are also simple and convenient.

Perfect for Working From Home!

I love the Tiny 3. This is my third upgrade from the Tiny and Tiny 2, and each one has been totally worth it.

The tiny 3 is significantly smaller than the Tiny 2 and has better sound and video right out of the gate.

I'm not an influencer and don't do many stand up presentations, so I don't use most of the features, but as a remote worker, this is a standout. It's ability to keep your video lighting looking clear and crisp even as the room darkens is incredible. Sometimes I'm stuck in a meeting around sunset and can't reach the light switch, so it is truly dark in my office but nobody ever knows--it's that good!

The mic is superb--no one hears my dog losing his mind when the UPS truck drives by. I also use the Vox microphone, though it isn't really needed. Nonetheless, I like a lot of space between me and the camera, and sometimes I lean back. The Vox microphone makes me sound perfect no matter my position. I didn't get the new Vox that is made for the Tiny 3 (Vox SE). It is a better microphone than the original Vox but it doesn't plug into your smartphone. As I said, I'm not an influencer, but I like the flexibility of being able to record an instructional video for the team when I am out and about, and the Vox is a superb choice for that.

I also love the voice commands: "Hi Tiny, Sleep Tiny" are basically the only ones I use but they are surprisingly useful.

The only con I have experienced is that I talk with my hands and sometimes that randomly sets off gesture controls (even when they are turned off), so sometimes it starts tracking my movements randomly which is distracting to people on the other side. However, I keep the remote nearby so when it does, I quietly press the button that turns it off and usually no one is the wiser.

As you can see in the pictures, I have it mounted on a standard tripod between two large 32" monitors so it's at the perfect level (another great feature--as small as it is, it still works with any standard tripod).

All around the best work from home camera in my opinion, and I have used many of them in this category including the Brio and others. Highly recommend the Obsbot Tiny 3 with remote control package, and also the Vox microphone. Great pairing for working from home or on the road.

Game-Changer PTZ Webcam – Smooth, Smart, and Creator-Ready

I’ve tested a lot of webcams over the years, and the OBSBOT Tiny 3 honestly feels like a major step forward for creators and streamers.

Right out of the box, the build quality feels premium and solid. Setup was quick, software installation was straightforward, and I was up and running in minutes. The real magic, though, is the AI tracking. The auto-tracking and zoom are incredibly smooth — no jerky movements, no awkward framing shifts. It follows naturally whether you’re sitting at a desk, standing, or moving around the room.

Autofocus is fast and accurate, even when switching between close-up shots and moving back. I also tested it in natural light and mixed lighting conditions, and the image stayed sharp with great color balance. Low-light performance is noticeably better than most webcams I’ve used.

The voice control and zone tracking features are surprisingly useful, especially during live streams when you don’t want to touch controls. Group mode is a great bonus for podcast setups or collaborative streams.

Compared to traditional webcams (like the Logitech Brio), the Tiny 3 feels more dynamic and professional. The PTZ movement combined with AI tracking makes your content look more polished without needing a full camera crew.

If you’re a content creator, streamer, online educator, or someone who moves around on camera, this is absolutely worth considering. It’s not just a small upgrade — it genuinely changes how you can use a webcam.

This is an impressive little webcam, and it’s a noticeable upgrade from the standard webcam we were using before. The image quality is excellent—sharp, clear, and much more vibrant and well balanced in terms of color. It immediately looks more polished and professional on screen without needing a lot of tweaking.

What really sets this camera apart is the functionality packed into such a small device. It supports both voice control and hand gestures, which actually work well. You can have it track you as you move, zoom in and out, wake it up, or send it to sleep. The name “Tiny” fits the physical size, but not the feature set—there’s a lot going on here in a very compact camera. Setup was straightforward, and everything we’ve tried so far has worked as expected.

We haven’t even begun to explore all of the available features yet, but even using just the basics, it has absolutely delivered on both quality and performance. Overall, this is a well-designed, high-end webcam that feels like a big step up and easily earns five stars.
