The ocarina itself looks and plays alright, but has inconsistencies and gaps in the blue glazing, and some inconsistency and buildup around the mouthpiece making high notes almost impossible to play. All in all, makes for a decent enough display piece, and maybe not bad for a beginner, but as I play more complex pieces I quickly find myself wanting a little better quality out of the instrument.

This ocarina and song book was a smash hit for my 11 year old son. He'd gotten a toy one that was marginally playable and insisted on getting a real one. This was a perfect choice as it came with the Legend of Zelda song book.

It’s super addicting to play and a great starter kit for those who want to play an instrument. However I will say that when playing lower notes it produces the right sound, but when playing the higher notes it sounds like a child blew into it, I probably have an out of tune one but overall it’s a good instrument.

The hand-stand is hilarious. I cannot get it to match how it's used in either picture. The ocarina will *not* stand on the stand.

I have only played for a month or so and I do like this it is a bit heavy but the sound is really good but I do t know how to use the stand but I’m trying not to drop it but it’s really nice and it sits comfortably in my hand the color is amazing it’s pretty easy to use and I think it’s worth my money

The sound quality left much to be desired. Tried to play the scales, key word is tried. The high notes sound like those plastic train whistles you yeet away from kids cuz they sound worse than a cat screeching in the night. Paint job is definitely rushed and the details are mid. I think if you wanted this to be just a display, it would work better. I did like the fact it came with a protective pouch, song booklet, display holder, and a cord to wear with but that's all it has goin for it in my opinion.

This product was absolutely amazing. Everything in it was in perfect condition. It was tuned perfectly. For the amount I spent for it it is worth it learning. It is so much fun the little booklet and it is very useful. The stand is just awesome to put it on and for. Any Zelda fan This is worth it. For my first Ocarina this is perfect. everything was spot on, and it felt really good in my hands.

The casting of this instrument is not perfectly circular and leaves non-circular holes w' indentations that can cause problems for children's small digits covering them correctly. I tried to get a refund but it's not worth the hassle and shipping. looks nice though as a display piece.

Incredibly breathy sounds, the right note is very hard to hit because the inside was not done very well. All in all not bad one to start off and learn with however I will be getting a better one from a different company.

Not that I knew a thing about ocarinas...or even had heard of one prior to Ocarina of Time...but it is good. Just don't drop it, otherwise you will never time travel, control weather, or warp and stuff.

If you're NOT thinking about getting seriously into ocarina, and are playing for fun, this would be the instrument for you. It's out of pitch and cannot play the D note properly, and it is more difficult to transition from the other notes to the lower C note. Also, the tabs shown in the song book are sometimes wrong as I've compared it to the general music sheets/tabs I found online. For comparison, I just got myself a "Night By Noble" ocarina, and that one is much easier to play and resolves the issues I just mentioned above. So if you're thinking of getting more serious and want to have an instrument that is tuned correctly, DON'T get this one. But if just for having a bit of fun and display purposes, this is a decent ocarina. (I have a couple years of flute experience and am new to ocarina, just the fyi)

Okay, so yes of course I bought this thinking I would sit around and bust out Song of Storms whenever I wanted and be awesome at it.
In all reality, yuh, I'm maybe not going to learn to really play this. I'm not musically inclined to begin with so this probably part of the problem, that and not actually taking the time to learn it. I bet I could make progress with it if I would invest the time needed.
It does sound good when you do manage a few notes, but for me it is for shelf value and love of the game that I wanted to have this on my shelf. It looks good and I love having it.

Bought this for my son for his bday. He loves it and I love hearing him play. We are a family that loves Zelda...super fun to hear! My son taught himself in just a couple of hours.

It came with a carrying pouch and string. I'm surprised that it wasn't just a decorative piece but it was also very functional as well. I vaguely know about music but the music sheet have very visual instructions which made it very easy to pick up and start playing.

Does have scratches that seems to affect the sound. Customer service is great. They are quick and really responsive. They even offered to replace my ocarina. Will leave another review once I receive the new one.
Gonna take some time to figure it out while waiting on the books. Gotta play the song of storms so I can control the weather a bit better here.
For the low price its gorgeous.

The Triforce design is misprinted/damaged, as the corner is cut off, but it plays very well. Worth the price.
UPDATE:
A few weeks after I wrote this review, I recieved a message from the customer satisfaction team. They offered me not only a replacement, but a 3$ refund aswell! I didn’t have access to my email for a period of time, and even though I wasn’t able to respond to their offer, they continued to try and help me for over two months. They sent me a brand new ocarina, stand, and bag, for absolutely no charge, and let me keep the other one! The new one is flawless, and plays beautifully. Their customer support is absolutely stunning. If you feel unsure about this product, just know that you’re in good hands when it comes to customer support. 10/10!

It came in perfect condition and earlier than expected. I didn’t show them in the picture, but it did indeed come with the hand stand, string, book, and “bag”. I didn’t feel that it was safe in the hand stand, so I keep it in the bag (satchel or something, sorry I don’t know what it’s called 😂). It’s a really good product and I’d recommend it.

Came in great condition! Looks fantastic, but is definitely intended to be more of a display piece. It plays, but the sound quality really isn't all that great. In addition, the display stand isn't very sturdy, and since they're both fragile items, I kind of get nervous about placing the ocarina on it. If you're a Zelda fan, this is a very cool and reasonably priced collectable! However, if you seriously want an ocarina to play, might want to look elsewhere.

Loud as it is, I don't get to practice it very much. The Ocarina itself is about 3" tall 5" long and approximately 3" around (gripping area). I can compare the audible volume of this instrument to a police whistle, just at a lower pitch. Still, it makes a pretty sculpture if you can't play it. The ceramic stand is awkwardly balanced, you won't be able to use it in the way they show in the advertisement. The way I've used it in the photo for my review was the best way I could figure out how to use it.

Would have been 5 stars but I was using the carrying bag and out of nowhere the button just popped open and sent the ocarina falling to the ground where the side inevitably shattered and can no longer be used.

Like everyone else, I wish this came with songs from the game, but copyright infringement, lawsuits, yada. Can't always get what you want. Great quality item. I'm clueless as to how to play it, but it comes with fingering instructions. There's an inappropriate joke in there somewhere... highly recommend!

Everything came as described! I tried some lessons on YouTube to learn how to play it and after getting a couple scales down and learning some basic Zelda songs I discovered that mine at least isn't built to hit the notes perfectly. Some notes are a tad sharp, others are a bit flat. Kind of randomly here and there. I am a trained musician so if you don't have a fantastic ear or don't really care it shouldn't bother you too much. Thankfully the real reason I bought it wasn't to play it a lot, it was to display it. AND! it is an amazingly beautiful display piece!!! It's so pretty! That's my review!

I love this replica of the ocarina used by Link in the Zelda game. My daughter is a big Zelda fan and when she saw this, she had to have it. She as quickly began playing it using the included booklet. I was somewhat skeptical about the sound quality, but it has a nice sound. It is appears to be well made and of a good quality ceramic. Overall, this is a good replica for anyone looking for an ocarina like Link's.
