Small speaker with a big blast

Small and loud! It’s perfect for bikes and scooters. I just wish the grip of the holder was more tight. It just keeps falling even though it is closed all the way.

Broken immediately

On my first ride with this Bluetooth speaker, the cover flew off in the wind. I was able to find it and put it back on, but there's nothing holding the cover on except little plastic pegs and gravity. No glue, no screws. Just comes right off.

Speaker good, Unable to Charge

The speaker work very nicely until it needs charged. You may want to check quality control on the charger cables and get a manufacturer that will include the actual charging terminals within the plug.

Required on every bike.

What a great speaker. Loud and lasts long for really long rides. I cannot see not having this on my bike.

Perfect speaker for the bike.

I love this speaker it fit perfect on my bike, it was super easy to pair with my phone. The sound is loud enough to hear over traffic. I recommend this speaker.

Great Sound!

I’m very pleased with the sound quality. I like to listen to Cubs games and audiobooks while riding. The sound is clear and not distorted. Music sounds good also. I bought the blue speaker and the blue matches the blue on my Lectric e-bike.

Great sound, good bass and midrange

Great little speaker. It’s about the size of a coffee can lid in diameter. I like the little carabiner on it. I hang it on the fence at the practice cage. Plenty of volume, great bass, midrange and treble. For a tiny little speaker, it’s got a lot of oomph. Good range for the Bluetooth as well. Very easy to setup.

Great road bike speaker!

Speaker works great even when going down hill at almost 40mph. Scary, but I could still hear it clearly. If I were looking for a single way to make it better, use a more effective rubber grip and be able to make just a hair tighter. The speaker is great and fits perfect on my bike. Dope!

Perfect speaker for your bike

I’m just using this to listen to the Beatles and the Stones while peddling around the neighborhood with my daughter. It sounds much better than I thought it would. Plenty loud or quiet enough to enjoy the ride. Would definitely recommend.

Works great connected to the TV and using it in a hospice bed

Needed something like a hospital bed speaker for my Dad who’s in a hospice bed so he could hear the TV through the speaker and we didn’t have to turn the TV so loud. Since it’s a bicycle speaker, it actually attaches to the rail of the bed just like it would bicycle handlebars and it works great.

It works great for what I use it for and I’m sure it also works great on a bicycle or even a motorcycle. Try it out! It’s a good cheap alternative.

Best $50 bike speaker ever!

And it was only $18.99. Loud, clear, fast connectivity, not "tinny", and excellent phone reception. I did add a small paracord and carabiner leash in case it pops out of the holder.

I was talking to a customer during my ride this morning, he thought I was on my $300 office speakerphone, and I told him all about it.. He's probably since ordered one for himself. :)

Mostly good.

Sound quality is nice and it's durable. I've dropped it twice going over 25 miles an hour and went back to get it and it was just fine. The only reason that happened though is because if you hit a bump going at the right speed it will bump right out of its mount.

Value for money

100% recommend . Sturdy and value for menu and boy it’s loud!

Perfect

Works great, very good sound quality. It absolutely needs a safety line attached as the speaker will come out of its holder on hard bumps.

Diamond Doom

Handy, lightweight speaker

I've ridden this speaker up the mountains of Griffith park and as far as Seal Beach, the volume is great (without wind/passing traffic) the reception is great too 99 percent connection. Battery life is great and placing it under my seat, it doesn't get in the way of me cycling all day!

Desert Living

What an awesome speaker for my bike!

I'd give it 10 stars!

The base sound that comes out of the speaker is super awesome considering it's size. It makes all my music sound so much better compared to my phone or my old barrel style speaker.

The mount works great and the speaker hasn't fallen out yet! I did use the included rubber strips to make sure it attached to my handlebars good. I also love that the tightner is finger accessable which means it possible to move the mount between bikes fairly easily.

I'm also amazed at the batter life, multi-hour bike rides no problem so far.

Works great on my new ebike!

I like it a lot! Much louder and clearer than the phone. Also unclips from its handlebar mount and has a carbineer clip for portable use. Clipped it on my belt loop while painting shutters the other day

It survived a fall off my car!

Perfect for riding a bike! I use it while riding with my friends on a converted RR trail. Here's the cool thing: we all use this and can't hear the others' speaker.

Others on the trail might be able to hear us after we pass them, but only for 1 second.

I plug in directly to my phone (1/8 jack) but my friends use Bluetooth.

Both conditions require using the phone to control the volume (the buttons on the device won't control the volume in these modes). Okay for a $20 device on a bike!

Over the course of time, I figured out that pointing directly to my head is best. I also reduce bass 'cos that doesn't translate well.

Don't plan on keeping the speaker cover for long!

1: If you get 5 hours of battery life consider yourself lucky; I bought 2 of them and neither of them get more than 4 hours before the dreaded chirp: Battery Low!

2: Onforu blew me off when attempting to enforce their warranty; the cover fell off, and it's a recurring problem for these units (see "questions" section). Tried to locate it, but don't know where it fell off. Even so, it's not connected with screws, just glue I guess, so if/when it falls off, there's no way to better mount it. They replied to first contact, asking for details and pics (I sent these), but they never replied back again; proof they have no intentions of honoring any warranty issues. The sound is not bad, but it distorts on full loud. I've never had another one like this one to compare it to; now I'll have to.

Love this amazing bluetooth speaker!!

When mine first arrived, I had a issue with mine and contacted the seller and they quickly responded to my email. This seller and their customer service went above and beyond and sent me out a new one. So professional this seller was. I love this bluetooth speaker and blown away by the sound quality and bass it has. It's amazing the sound. Bluetooth works great and connects really easy. It comes with everything you need and even comes with a metal hook so you can attach it to backpacks and more. I love that it came with that hook, very versatile speaker and also can answer calls. This is a awesome product and so great for my electric scooter or bicycle because I love listening to music while riding. Would definitely purchase from this seller again. Thank you!

Nice BT but sucks

Durability, sound quality I've had better in a $20-$30 bt speaker even had other friends comparing it to others I've had but doesn't stay clipped in to holster either especially if it's bumpy roads over all a 4.2 out of 10

-67 year old dad Definitely recommends

Bought for my retired father who rides his ebike for 4-6 hours a day. He takes this thing everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE (to the point of annoyance). It sounds great, the battery lasts very long (too long when he’s in his room with it on loud or walking around the house…).

Sounds great!

I'm really happy with it so far, my only issue is the rubber stuff that you use to secure it to the bar vibrated out. When I was putting on had a hard time getting the rubber stuff to even stay in the right place, kept squeezing out the sides, Gorilla Tape!

A total SHOCK for $24.99

First, I'd like to cover my riding conditions. I have a Trek Verve 2 that I use to commute to work and since I live in Florida I am concerned about using certain roads so I ride on the sidewalk. Some of the sidewalks are maintained very well which can result in a bumpy ride along with points of my trips that cause me to cross railroad tracks and construction.

With that being covered, Wow! This is amazing and this feels like $40 to $50 product.

--The Speaker Mount--

The clip is strong and I never feel nervous about it coming out. As far as the clamp, I'm able to put it on the thickest part of my bar. Before I bought the Trek, I had it on a thinner mountain bike handle bars with the rubber spacers they provide. On both bikes, I've never had an issue with it rotating on the bars. The clips for the speaker are super secure and make a good clicking sound. I've haven't hit a bump that has caused me to worry about it coming out or the feeling that I should push it back into the clips. Removing it can be a little tight (which is good in my opinion), I tend to pull up from the top using the D-clip to pull it off from top to bottom.

--Speaker--

Holy crap! I wasn't expecting the sound quality. I was kind of expecting a thinner sound but it's actually pretty full! I also use it at work while I'm crimping cables, soldering, or just doing computer work and I love it! Sometimes I clip it to my jeans as I'm walking around. I haven't used the JBL Clip speaker but I was definitely looking at it for my bike. I have a feeling that this speaker is actually a great dupe minus the IPX7 rating (what situation would you be in that this thing will fall into water for 30 minutes). I do like that the D-clip can be removed versus the integrated clip. I haven't run into rain yet but I'm sure it will be fine as long as it isn't a monsoon for 30 minutes.

--Battery--

Don't have much of a weigh-in on this. I use it at work for a few hours of playtime and ride time on average is probably an hour. I also tend to charge it at work sometimes and I charge it at home whenever I think about it. I think you could get up to 7 hours of playtime at full volume. It also has an auto off feature after 30 to 45 minutes which is a very nice feature. I haven't timed it and I'm not sure if it's because nothing is connect or if it's because nothing is playing. But... It's there and it's a thing. It's an awesome feature to have if you're running into a store or accidentally leave it on after storing your bike.

All in all, I'd HIGHLY recommend this speaker. For a stroller, scooter, moped, bike, basically anything with a handlebar or mounting point, it's perfect!

Great little speaker / About 3 Year Life

I love this speaker. It fits nicely on my bike. It's much safer listening to tunes during my ride without ear buds.

VOLUME

It rattles a bit at higher volumes if you push a lot of bass. I removed the bass boost EQ on my iPod and the problem went away. I rarely push the speaker since I'm not that annoying guy on the trail who wants everybody to know what I'm listening to, but it does reach a decent volume.

MOUNTING

I initially had it mounted on my handlebar, and it was tough to get a tight fit...even with the extra sleeve provided. It's not that big, but it does crowd the bar. I eventually ended up installing it on the collar instead. I also rotated the speaker so the controls are on top. The clamp accommodates a fairly large diameter.

CONTROLS

The only thing I truly dislike about the speaker is that the Volume up/down and Prev/Next buttons are the same. A quick push on the button goes to the next song, while a longer press will increase the volume. I find myself trying to increase the volume but instead going to the next song because I didn't press long enough. It would also be nice if they had a splash of color so you could see could quickly see what button you were pushing.

UPDATE: This speaker served me well. Unfortunately, after 2.5 years of use, the battery no longer holds enough charge for a single ride.

Poorly made, waste of money

Update**** 8/2/20 so the sound stopped working and i don’t even use it that much, never dropped it, or had any damage. It’s been on my bike and my bike is always secure in a bike rack, this is very disappointing and a waste of money.

The Onforu SK03 Is the Perfect Bike Companion

This is a wonderful product; very good quality, bright, clear sound, with plenty of undistorted volume. It attaches snuggly and securely to my old 10-speed's handlebars and stays in place when encountering jarring bumps on the trail. Also, there is no skipping of the audio when in micro SD card mode during rides. The audio is crystal clear even at high volumes. The battery has plenty of life and the speaker is simple and easy to use. I purchased the Onforu SK03 speaker to replace a name brand bluetooth speaker that I paid 3 times as much for 1 year ago. What I like about the Onforu is the ability is play directly from a micro SD card. This eliminates having to charge and manage a both a speaker and an MP3 player. You can navigate forward or backward from song to song on the micro SD card by using the + and - volume buttons. A longer press on the buttons increases or decreased the volume. The Onforu has more volume than my old one so classical pieces with quiet passages will now be heard while riding. The four buttons have double functions making the Onforu very convenient and versatile to use. I would highly recommend reading through the supplied owners manual to understand how all the features work. It can switch manually between SD, Bluetooth, and Aux using a short press on the power button to jog between them. Or it will automatically connect to the correct mode upon power up, depending on what is hooked up at the time. If an SD card is inserted it will power up to the SD mode. If nothing is connected it defaults to Bluetooth mode. If something is plugged into the Aux jack it powers up on that mode. (The manual clearly states how this all works.) This model has a 3.5mm aux jack and supplied cable so it can be used with older MP3 players that are not Bluetooth. The speaker sounds as good as the old name brand speaker it replaced - only the Onforu has much more volume. One of the things that impressed me as I was reading some of the negative feedback on this product was how willing the company was to correct problems. Mine came without the set screw that tightens the bracket to the bike handlebars. I contacted the supplier (Onforu) and they quickly resolved the issue by refunding some of the purchase price - more than enough to cover the cost of a new screw. I'm very impressed. I would have no reservations about purchasing another one of these amazing speakers.

Speaker Booming, Mount Fooling

A terrific speaker with magnificent sound and very loud for it’s size. However the mount that it came with straight garbage like they picked it up at the 99¢ store. If you want to start off with a great product end with the same results, that lazy mount just ruins a great product like this speaker.
