System worked fine at first then after 1 month HDD failed and I wasn’t able to format the HDD (see photo).
Replacement system came today and this time no HDD was found (see photo) so I have to return it again.
Very disappointing for that many good reviews. I will look for another brand.

My husband and I purchased these cameras specifically to make us feel more comfortable with my husband's unpredictable ex wife. The audio works amazing, and has helped us prove my husband's ex wife's lies many times! This has been one of my favorite purchases. The quality of the audio is great. We love to remind people (especially our kids and nieces/nephews) that we have cameras because it automatically seems to make people want to tell the truth.
These are definitely worth the money.

I purchased the 00SSXX security camara system October 2022. I installed six of eight camaras at that time. My property has several outbuildings and about 2 acres of land to cover. I installed three of the camaras outside in the elements and three of the camaras inside the outbuildings. The picture quality of all the camaras is outstanding as is the night vision. I am able to identify people at a distance of 600 feet in daylight and at about 80 feet in the darkness. I live in Michigan where we have harsh, snowy, cold winters and the outdoor camaras worked flawlessly in subzero snowy, slushy conditions without any problems. The outbuildings are about 600 feet from the internet hub that is used. The package comes with two remote antennas that I used for the interior of the outbuildings to boost the signal. They both work extremely well with the external antenna magnetically placed on the outside of the buildings. Set up for the camaras at the base station was intuitive and relatively easy, almost plug and play except for setting preferences for the alerts to my phone / E mail. The only difficulty I had when I got started was getting the camara view on my phone to display in a timely manner. They sent out an update for the app, and that problem disappeared. I would highly recommend this system as an affordable, high quality easy to operate and set up alternative to a subscription system. I am planning on installing the final two camaras inside of the house but have not yet completed that task.
Update July 2023 - We were on vacation and an alert came across the phone that intruders were looking in windows and checking doors for security. We called the sheriff's department to intercept, but the intruders had seen our camera set up and hastily left. I returned to the house to meet with the sheriff and was able to provide them with several still photos and six videos from this system that were able to identify the intruders. The sheriff's department posted the videos both on their internet website as well as provided them to the local news station. We are waiting to see what results are provided in the coming days. Needless to say, our neighbors all asked for our system information and will be making several purchases.

Excellent system. Replaced Night Owl product purchased at Best Buy. That system failed repeatedly. The picture on my monitor is excellent and clear. One of my cameras failed, when I mentioned this in registering this producty they noticed and a replacement has already been shipped.

I had purchased many wired cameras in the past and was skeptical about wifi camera but purchasing this was the perfect choice after reading many reviews... It was easy to set up and signal is very strong and you can use repeater to extend the camera range. Excellent products and very responsive on customer service. Best cameras for the price and I love how you can hook up a camera in a corner and you can see everything with it 180 degrees wide view. For the quality you will have to pay over $1000 for other brands camera. I’m so glad I purchased this one. It’s been 5 months and it’s running perfect and I got two years warranty on it.You can’t beat the quality and the price anywhere else. I love this camera and has recommend it to many of my friends. I got peace of mind knowing I can remote view my house anytime while I’m away and the camera has two way walkie-talkie and has alarm by click it too. Purchase it and you can thank me later.

We're dissapointed the power chords are not waterproof, this causes problems outdoors. We recommend waterproof power chords for future designes!

Hooking everything up was simple.
But, picture quality is sub-par.
You can not even read the license plate of the truck in my driveway nor can a face be recognized.
According to the advertisement, 5mp and its advertised high resolution, one would think you could at least read the Lettering on my work truck.
And, the Night Vision ? What night vision ? I can't see anything unless the sun is out.

Very Good Camera System, clear pictures, easy setup.
The wireless range is excellent.
Quality of image: The image quality (5MP) is very good. I can easily read the license plate of a car in my driveway with the camera in the parking garage, about 100 ft away. The night vision is also very good. The little red light on the camera provides enough background light to see everything within about 50 ft even in the absolute darkness.

This is an easy to set up camera system, much easier than our other one. Very simple to use, playback, etc. I'm very happy with our system and recommend.

The Butler Did It!
This is my 1st Security system and I've learned a lot. Shipped perfectly and cameras were already set up with the recorder. Just hooked the recorder to my TV (HDMI cable) and then powered up each camera noting the camera position (number) on each camera. Then I mounted the cameras keeping the order in mind so they would appear in the proper places on the TV monitor. The one thing I should have done was check each camera for focus as one camera was out of focus and had to be replaced. Customer Service replaced my camera promptly so that was a pleasant experience. The instruction book shows various menu examples but they don't match the menu screens that are in my system, so I use the manual as a general guide. Much of my learning is clicking around in the menu screens and figuring it out on my own. The app for my phone works great. I can check my cameras any time I want. Tech Service isn't any help. I sent an email a week ago and still no response. I have a a red triangle with an exclamation point in the lower left of my screen (seen in my picture) and tech service hasn't responded and the manual doesn't mention it. The picture was taken at dusk, so it is black & white. I did add an IR Flood light (850 nM) for my backyard and wow! Those cameras are picking up things that are far away. Colors are vivid during the day. I'd give a rating of 5 if Tech Service would do their job, so I'm leaving a 4.
