Woke up this morning at my girlfriend’s house with a notification that my bike was an hour 32 minutes away, so I rushed home and my bike was still at home and this is not the first time this tracker has done that, so be aware that it drifts, but it’s never drifted this far, so I’m getting rid of it and canceling my subscription and going with someone else for peace of mind

I don’t know we’re all this good review comes from hit mines not working good lost signal and doesn’t live track not good for selling cars and wanting to keep track incase a payment is missed don’t recommend this device keeps loosing signal won’t update my next location after testing it

I purchased a tracker a little over two years ago to install on my boat. I do have a HOT Spot on my boat for the internet connection. I anchored my Sailboat in the Ft. Pierce inlet in Florida and I wanted to be able to monitor it's movement with the tide changes. My boat should not be able to move more than three hundred ft. with the chain that I have out as the tide goes from high to low or low to high. I set up a geofence with those dimensions in mind. The tracker is very accurate. If my boat moves at all (from the tide or high winds) I am notified immediately. I can check my boat's location within the geofence at anytime 24 hours a day on my computer or my Iphone. I also have four cameras mounted on the boat to verify location but It is easier just to check the geofence. When I am on the Optimus Tracker App It also tells me the voltage of my onboard batteries which is to me one of the best qualities of the tracker. I always know if my solar panels are keeping up with my onboard usage. I know that most people use these in cars, but it also works great for my situation. I have contacted customer service on two occasions and both times I got a response within minutes and my questions were answered.
Excellent Customer Service and the monthly charges are minimal and worth every penny. Most all of their products are good, but I thought that this one deserved me writing a review.

Installation was relatively simple, especially for someone with basic knowledge of car electronics. Once installed, the tracker worked reliably and provided accurate location data. It is very useful for monitoring a vehicle in real time, which gives me peace of mind and a sense of security.

Very happy with the results after 2 weeks worth of use, both personal use and a turo rental. While it was rented, it gave me peace of mind knowing the location of my growing turo fleet.
The car battery to my Jag is in the interior of rhe car however underneath the spare tire, which is under the floor of the cargo area. And buried deep inside the car, this tracker stays tracked. It's lost signal for seconds at a time for x reason, but it regains signal rapidly.
Overall, very happy.
Especially after WASTING my time with Spytec from Hapn for 2 weeks. Those guys set the bar sooooo low. Lol

Don't use the QR code to find the app to download. The packaging must be old cause it takes you to an old app.

I like the tracker I put it on my boat the setup was fairly easy. The membership isn't included and is $14 a month. First time trying to track my boat it would only update once a day now it's more consistent and updates every 5-10 minutes. It has a tendency to lag for 30+ minutes which isn't ideal for a rental fleet. I don't know if I would buy again

It works as described, I bought this for my son’s car. It has great features, hard braking, acceleration, start and stop and geofencing and more. It sends text to alert me as I have set up the notifications.
I had Life360 and when the phone goes bellow 10% charge it stopped working, no good! This is wired up to the battery and has a tamper notification as well.
It is also very accurate, it has done what I wanted and I can keep track of the car and how it is operated.

This review is only after 5 or 6 days of use and, I am not using any of the advanced features, just tracking a vehicle. For all intense and purposes, this unit is functioning flawlessly for me. I particularly like the hard wired feature and not having to worry about changing a battery out when it's low. A little more work up front but definitely worth it. Attached is a sample of a day of driving for this idiot. Forgot to add that the app is really easy to use for the simple stuff.

This did exactly what I needed it to do. Connected to the battery on my trailer, signed up in a few minutes and had my assest tracked without issue.
For $13 a month, this is great peace of mind. The GPS signal is also quite accurate, stays updated, easy to use and worked great.
When installing, the size was perfect as I could tuck it somewhere discreet.

This thing is great . Sets my mind at ease regarding theft of my relatively rare bird .. easy as it gets to install. Just find 12v and a ground to tap into next to installation location and get a plan and your in business. Really happy with this product

My friend just got his truck stolen at a home depot parking lot. All with in 10 minutes , made me react with getting a tracker. All I know is my friend would do anything to travel back in time and purchase a tracker....I choose to get it before it happens :)

GPS device works perfectly. I receive text and email alerts from the software alerting me of my vehicles movements. Software is easy to install on my Android. Great tech support. I signed up for a 1-year subscription. Highly recommend it. Very easy to install. Just a comment to other users. They did not follow the instructions. I had no issue whatsoever with it.
A number of months later approximately 6 months this device stopped working. I contacted tech support by email. The device is
Was still under warranty and in a matter of a couple of days they sent me a brand new one. I had some difficulty connecting. But their tech support was able to help me work through the issues. I highly recommend this device.

My title for this review sums it up. This product functions perfectly, and it’s very easy to install. Connect it directly to the vehicle battery, and it will track whether the vehicle is powered on or not. The picture I posted is a screenshot from the app, showing the location of my boat as it’s being shipped by truck.

I tried out this device for a month and ended up returning it. Attached are screenshots of only a very small sample of what I experienced. During that time, the device reported 81 false trips (trials) that ranged from a couple feet to several meters on a single line while the vehicle was parked. Most false trips were 3-5 minutes in duration but some were over a half hour but the vehicle never moved. The device also reported 55 episodes of crazy changes in direction and continuous travel in random directions while the vehicle was slowing down, stopped or parked for several minutes. All of this was reported to their tech support who said that they could and would fix it on their end but there was no real improvement. The mobile app is not impressive at all. It feels generic, clunky and unrefined. The online interface is cleaner and more efficient. I was satisfied with how detailed the reports were. Geofensing worked as expected, though tech support didn't like how I configured mine and changed them without my permission, making them 300% larger, covering areas that I didn't want covered. When I asked them to restore them to their original configurations, tech support said that they could not and I would have to delete and re-create them which was extremely aggravating. Ultimately, they caused more problems than they solved. Eventually, they simply stopped responding to my emails. The only good thing that I can say for this device is that it's easy to install. Pretty much anyone could do it in 5-10 minutes. Although, the wires could stand to be quite a bit longer. In my case, mounting it directly on top of the battery was not an option so finding a place to mount it where the wires would reach was a real challenge. Bottom line, the performance of the device and quality of the service was very poor and grossly overpriced.

Our 16yo son recently got his drivers license 😬 and with his personality we felt we needed to keep an eye on things. So we put this on our son's vehicle just to make sure he was making it where he was supposed to be and at the time he is supposed to be there (school, work, home, etc.) when we're already gone to work or not home from work yet. It is extremely accurate...as you can see in the attached photo it shows his route (on the app you can see the entire thing this is just a screenshot), as you can also see in the attached photo on this particular evening he got caught doing donuts in a parking lot 🤦♀️🤣. It has settings for how and who recieves alerts, speed detection, how fast he brakes, and plenty more. We are very pleased with the product and it was very easy to install...literally 5 minutes! Our son now knows it is on the vehicle and since this incident he has been alot more honest about where he is going and he definately watches his speed more. He has also quit doing donuts after breaking the serpentine belt on the truck, paying for a tow, buying a new belt, and having to put it on. 😁 Sometimes I guess they just have to learn the hard way.

Contacted customer service and they said it would when the vehicle started moving.
Well now it works but I only get updated on where the vehicle is ever so often.
The 30 sec refresh is a lie.
As you can see in the pictures.
Car is moving at 30mph but yet sitting in the same location for 45 minutes.
Every time I refresh or send a poll command to see where it is it says the same location.
I've gotten better tracking using a cellphone and google maps vs using this thing.

I bought this because I have a car that keeps getting stolen in my area although I garage it. I’m not going to affect my star rating but the text alerts need work. I just took a 40 minute trip and just got a text after driving for 40 minutes that my car was moving.
I was very hesitant in general to buy a GPS for my car because of all the reviews from other GPS units. I was attracted to this particular unit because it was an easy install and I didn’t wanna splice wires in my brand new car. i’ve included photos of how I mounted it. Are used double sided tape and stuck it to the side of the battery. Not only that is are used wire loom just like wire loom that is used for OEM factory wiring. It is somewhat hidden and hard to tell it’s there and less you’re really looking for it (Photos included)
I did not wanna buy a GPS tracker that just plugs in to the OBD port as it can be easily found and taking out rendering your GPS useless.
Overall I am pretty satisfied with this product
