Love this fan. So quiet and the app control is very convenient. One piece arrived broken that connects the fan and light. My son-in-law electrician wired that piece himself and works perfectly. Good price for nice porch fan.

So glad we found this fan!
What a difference this fan makes sitting in our gazebo. No more swatting at the occasional gnat or mosquito and when it's a little warm the moving air feels great.
The remote has six fan speed settings and 3 different light color settings that are dimmable and a 2 hr. timer button.

They work great, Can't beat it for the price!
These fans look good, easy to assemble and look great. They move a lot of air and have very bright light. I've had 1 for a month and decided to add a second to cover a larger area in my gazebo and they work great together in a 12x15 gazebo. It's 90 degrees outside and comfortable under my gazebo.

Great PLUG IN fan rated for outdoors.
This is a neat ceiling fan that is designed to be used outdoors and is powered by being plugged in instead of being hard wired. The fan is sized at 42 inches and has 5 blades. You can control the fan with the included remote or an app on your phone. The fan has 6 speeds and maxes out at 4500 CFM. There is an included LED light that maxes out at 2200 lumens. There are 3 Kelvin Temps: 3000k. 4000K, and 6500k. The fan itself is rated for Outdoor use which is waterproof. But, where is gets plugged in needs to be in a outdoor box. The fan can mounted in different ways and comes with two different down rods, 5 inch and 10 inch. Some gazebos have had a hook ready to hang the fan. Other need the included hardware. This is a nice fan that looks nice and can move a lot or air.

This fan looks way nicer than I thought a plug in fan could!
I was really surprised with how high quality this fan is from the moment I opened the box because you can immediately feel the weight and quality. It is far from being a cheap plastic outdoor fan which is kind of what I expected.
Installing it is beyond easy and assembling it took me less than 20 mins. The instructions are extremely well written too, it reads like it was written in the USA which was a nice relief. I didn't even notice that it was a smart fan when I ordered it until I saw it in the instructions lol. The remote control is so feature packed that I haven't even bothered using the app. It has options to cycle between 6 speeds, can change the brightness little by little along with the color hue from soft to daylight bright.
It has a simple hook mount that just uses 2 screws and it comes with bolts for concrete and anchors for drywall if you can't drill right into wood. I thought it was cool that it came with a fan blade balance kit so even if yours is off or wobbles a little, you can adjust it really fast. Once you have it balanced, its extremely quite even when operating on the highest settings. All the blades have a curve upwards that makes it really push A LOT of air for a fan this size.

Nice 42” outdoor fan with 6 speeds, adjustable light color temp , nice remote with wall mount.
I ordered this for mounting in our 10’ x 14’ open pergola with a metal roof that can get hot during the Summer. I previously used a 20” fan that was much weaker and did not move the air as well as we hoped. This 42” wide fan is perfect. It came with two pole lengths, we used the shorter one to keep the fan higher, away from possible interference. It moves the air well and cools all those under the pergola. There is a light with both brightness and color temperature adjustment which is a nice benefit too. Assembly and installation was quick and easy and the fan is quiet in operation. The six speeds allow for plenty of adjustment for moving the right amount of air on cooler nights. The cable clamps with adhesive did not hold right above the fan so I did end up using a nail type to make sure they did not come loose. I could have used a bit longer cord by 5’ so ended up needing an extension, but not a big deal. Comes with a remote holster as well.

My master bedroom does not have a ceiling light and no way to run electricity through the attic. So bought this thing and worked out wonderful. Light is bright enough without having to turn on the lamps. Very quiet with the fan on.

Excellent fan! Better than Lowe’s and Home Depot versions
If you are looking for a fan that actually moves air, look no further. But before I tell you how much I love the Orison 42” fan, let me save you some time and money by telling you what “not” to buy.
Before getting this, I fell for a sales person’s glowing pitch at Lowe's and bought the 20” Harbor Breeze “gazebo” fan. I was told it was a popular gazebo fan and should work perfectly. Well, I got it home, hooked it up, and it did absolutely nothing at all! If you stood directly underneath it, and sprayed water on you, maybe, just maybe you’d feel something…but nowhere else. Complete waste of time.
I then ordered the 42” Orison. Right out of the box, the difference was night and day. It has an app, a cool remote, it reverses, dims, has a breeze setting, timer, and an amazing feature to change the color from daylight to warm light.
The setup and installation process was incredibly easy and straightforward. The instructions are clear, the parts are well-labeled, and if you’ve ever hung a standard fixture before, this will be an absolute breeze for you. But, a critical tip for assembly, be careful and don’t install the blades upside down. (Don't Make My Mistake!)
Pay incredibly close attention to the fan blades orientation “This side up marking in the blades, goes up towards the pole.
During assembly, I accidentally installed the blades upside down. (If you can read This side up on the blade when you hang it…it’s wrong!!) When I turned it on for the first time, it was a total disaster. The unit started rocking and wobbling all over the place, and it barely moved any air—making it seem like it was defective right out of the box.
Thankfully, I realized my mistake. I took a few minutes to flip the blades over into their proper orientation, turned it back on, and wow—what a massive difference. The wobbling completely disappeared, the unit stabilized perfectly, and the airflow became absolutely amazing. It moves a ton of air quietly and efficiently.
Skip the big box warehouse club or home improvement store "gazebo" options that promise the world and deliver nothing. The Orison 42” looks modern, is simple to DIY install, and packs a massive punch as long as you put the blades on right. Highly recommended!

Super Easy Installation - Quiet - Dim to BRIGHT Light
I got this for my porch where it can get too hot when there’s no air movement. Having the light is just a bonus, one which I won’t use much but still nice to have. And if you want it can be super bright. I already had another new ceiling fan in the box that I kept putting off because of the complex installation. I got this because it looked easy and sure enough it only took me about 30 minutes total, including putting up a 4 x 4 to attach it to. The price of the fan is good anyway and having a three prong plug to just put right into a socket saves potentially hundreds of dollars for an electrician (part of the reason I never put the other one up). The airflow isn’t huge but is more than adequate. It is designed to be simple and functional and precise. The fan blades snap into place right where they need to be to put the three screws in (one each). It is obviously controlled by a SmartBoard because it has a slow startup function, and then there are all of the other functions available on the remote. Right now it’s mild with a breeze and no direct sunlight so it’s comfortable anyway, but I can tell that this is going to be a great addition to days I’m sitting out here with no wind.

Nice fan, missing screws for fan blades.
There is a lot to like about this Plug-in outdoor ceiling fan with light. The remote works really well. It controls the light and the fan, and enables you to change the fan speed and dim the light. There are 6 different fan speeds and many brightness levels. The quality of the build is good. It runs nice and quiet and it definitely puts out some air, so it cools very well. It looks good, other than the cord that had to be run across the ceiling and the outlet that had to be installed to plug it into.
Installing the fan would have been very easy except for some issues. First, it was missing the screws to attach the fan blades. Fortunately we found screws that fit and were able to move on. The plug seems like a great idea, but it is only 7 feet long, so I had to run electricity up to the ceiling and put in a outlet to plug it in. Also missing were clips to attach the cord and hold it in place. There was no hardware to attach the hook that the fan hangs from. My guess is this missing hardware was all in one bag that didn't make it into the box. Some of the instructions were confusing as well.
Overall: honestly I love the fan. Installation was not easy due to missing parts and confusing instructions. We were able to work around these problems and are enjoying the fan. Had all the hardware been included, I would have given it 5 stars.

Amazing outdoor fan--bright light and strong powerful motor!
Bright and powerful! Love this ceiling fan--I know it's for outdoors but I installed this in my garage and it works perfect. Very easy install, watch the video and you will have it up in less than 30 minutes. I like the different kelvin rating, you can have it mellow or very bright, I have it really bright in my garage. Why this works really work in the garage is because it adds more light and gives airflow while working on my car or hobbies that I have, it's a great solution. You can use an app or the included remote to control it--however, I prefer the included remote for quick access. The remote also comes with a mounted holder. Build quality is spot on, the fan itself feels solid and the motor is also very powerful, at settings 6 you can really feel the wind blowing hard. It looks great and modern and it functions beautifully. Perfect size too, not too big or not too small. Overall, a great outdoor fan or for use in the garage as well--easy install! I highly recommend it,

This fan is a pleasant surprise, very simple, and works very well.
My old porch fan was just that, very old. Its blades were wilting like a sad flower, and it rattled like a VW buss from the 60’s. Then the cord to change its speed finally broke off. Living in AZ means I don’t just want a porch fan, I need one to do anything out there.
I picked this one because I wanted the app option and the range of settings it has. It does not disappoint.
The installation was the easiest thing I’ve done in a while. It is basically installing the hook on the ceiling, putting the fan together, and hanging it.
I have a slight slant to my porch roof, the fan didn’t say it was a good idea to do so, but I positioned the hook so to give the fan the option to tip a bit backward on it. This seems to work because the fan isn’t shimmying around or struggling like a crooked fan would. The decorative cover for the top is adjustable so it allowed for the slight tilt.
The only slightly annoying thing was plugging the light fixture into the main body with the teeny tiny clip connection. It was easier because I waited until after I clipped it in before screwing the light onto the main body, instead of what the directions said to do.
Then for the test... Both the remote control and the app worked very well. You can control the warmth and brightness of the light, and it has a nightlight that reminds me of moonlight. The fan has settings 1-6 which is so nice to be that adjustable. I can control whether it’s blowing stuff off the table, or is just a cooling breeze. It has a natural air setting that makes it feel more like a breezy day, than a fan beating on you at a constant rate. When the seasons change there is a reverse feature as well. Plus there is a timer option that will turn everything off. The timer has more options than the remote, which only had a 2 hour option. The timer on the app lets you choose 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours.
So the app has a trick. It looks like there is no way it will connect to the fan once you add it to the app. You are supposed to turn on the power to the fan and press the Bluetooth button in the app within five seconds, and it connects. If you turn the fan on and off using the remote this does not work. You have to use the switch on the wall, or probably unplug and plug it back into the outlet, then press the Bluetooth button. The fan will do a blink and a beep and it seems to stay connected after that.
It comes with two downrod options 5” and 10”, I used the 10” on mine.

Fantastic, outdoor plu-in ceiling fan!
This 42", outdoor plug-in ceiling fan from Orison is fantastic and has quickly become one of my favorite patio accessories! This ceiling fan features app control, a handheld remote control, is very well-built, waterproof and extremely easy to install. The light is a 2200 lumens, 3 temperature color, dimmable LED light. The installation was very easy, simple screw in the hook into your ceiling/joist/post/etc. Screw the blades onto the main unit, install the light kit, attach the 5" or 10" rod (depending on which height is best for you), and hang the fan unit via the pulley on the hook. The power cord is only 98.4" long, which is honestly the only issue I found with this product - the 8.2' long cord was nowhere near long enough for me to plug into my outlet, and I had to argument that with an additional 10' long extension cord. The fan is very easy to use, it has 6-speeds, has reversible operation, is very quiet and creates a great breeze. The cost vs value is really good; with it's simple plug-in design, it truly makes this fan a great addition to any outdoor sitting area with a ceiling! I absolutely recommend.

Great for my garage – does the job perfectly
I got this Orison ceiling fan to help with the heat in my garage, and it’s been a game changer. Mounted it in the rafters, and even on lower speeds, it moves a ton of air. The garage feels way more tolerable now when I’m working out there.
The DC motor is super quiet – no annoying hum, just good airflow. I haven’t tried the app yet, but the remote works fine for adjusting the 6 speeds. It’s also well made and feels like it could handle outdoor conditions easily (though mine is inside a garage).
My only hiccup was that the plastic light cover broke when it fell during installation – it’s a bit cheap. But honestly, I didn’t buy this for looks; I needed a heavy-duty fan for a hot workspace. For that purpose, it’s excellent. Still giving it a strong recommendation, especially if you need a powerful, quiet fan for a garage, workshop, or covered patio.

It may say its for outside but I put it in a bathroom
I got this fan hoping to hang it in my husbands bbq shed but I way over estimated the amount of head space available in there so I instead decided to mount it in my guest bathroom since it is rated for outdoor use and I didn't have to hardwire it in. Literally the best choice I have ever made! We live in an old farm house that relies on window a/c to keep it cool. Our guest bathroom is easily one of the warmest rooms in our home since it is on an outside wall that receives constant sun on the south side of the house so what the sun doesn't warm the hot air blown does. Makes it quite miserable during the summer time. I think this fan is going to be a game changer in there. Installing is so fast since all you have to do after attaching the blades is mount the hook bracket to the ceiling, install the down rod and slide it over the hook. I was afraid it was going to swing uncontrollably when the fan was turned on since this was how it hangs but it doesn't and I keep it on high. This fan moves some air too. It's never been so comfortable in that bathroom before now. The light could be better though. Like it's not terrible and does have a dimmer feature but at its max brightness it is not very bright. You do also have the ability to adjust the light temperature to a color that you prefer. The fan is remote operated and has timer features. It also says you can connect it to an app but I haven't done that yet and don't know if I even will. One thing I will point out, because this fan is not hardwired you do have to secure the plug to the ceiling. Well that is fine but first off the cord really needs to be longer, you will probably need an extension cord and second the clips that it comes with to secure the cord are not reliable. They have a sticky back but since this is intended for wet area use how long do you think that stickiness is going to last. They should really be secured with screws and the clips need to have a locking feature to ensure that the cord doesn't fall and end up damaging the fan getting wrapped around the blades.

Great Outdoor Fan, With A Few Small Installation Issues
This outdoor fan honestly impressed me quite a bit for the price point. I was originally nervous it was going to hang too low on our porch, but I really appreciated that it included both a 5 inch and 10 inch extension rod so we could customize the height better for our setup. We ended up using the shorter rod and it worked perfectly. I also like that it can easily be taken down during severe storms if needed since we live in an area that gets pretty rough weather at times. The fan itself runs extremely quietly and puts out a good amount of airflow without sounding obnoxious, and the light is surprisingly bright with multiple lighting settings to choose from depending on the vibe you want outside. Assembly and installation were both pretty straightforward overall. My biggest complaint is honestly the remote because it is not as responsive as I would like and sometimes takes pressing the buttons multiple times before it reacts. I also would not recommend using the included mounting screws because one of ours actually snapped during installation, so we switched to stronger hardware instead. The adhesive cord holders also did not stick well to our wood beams, so we used hooks we already had on hand. Even with those small issues, none of them affected the actual performance of the fan itself, and overall I still think this is a really nice outdoor fan for the price point.

Looks Way More Expensive Than It Actually Is
I’ve actually ended up liking this fan more than I expected, especially for spaces like a sunroom or covered patio where you want airflow without installing something super heavy or expensive. It moves air really well for the size, and the built-in light gives off a nice soft brightness at night without making the space feel like a garage.
The plug-in setup is honestly underrated too. Not having to fully hardwire everything makes installation way less intimidating, especially if you’re putting it somewhere that didn’t already have a ceiling fan. I had it up way faster than most traditional fans I’ve installed. The remote worked fine right away too, which feels weirdly rare now.
One thing to know though, the blades are plastic. They don’t look terrible once installed, but if you’re expecting super premium wood blades, this isn’t that kind of fan. Still, for a sunroom or casual space, I actually think it makes sense since you don’t have to worry as much about humidity or weather changes messing them up over time.

Perfect fan for pergola
This is a good sized fan, it is 42 inches and perfect for the outdoors. It does have a timer for two hours. It has a light bulb that could change color to three different colors. The speed of the fan is from 1 to 6 and it also is reversible for the winter. This is a plug-in and it also has a mobile app that can be used. And it comes with a remote control. This is the perfect fan for the perfect value. It is a smart ceiling fan with a light. It does not weigh much and was very easy to install. It takes 100 to 240 V. The power for this is 30 W for the fan and 46 for the fan and light.
