I replaced it with my old ADT alarm system.

I feel very secure with the system

It was very easy to install. I love it. What’s really neat is you can come home and know that nobody’s been in your home and if there was, they would probably leave very quickly.

Easy to install DIY security system

Easy to install and works great! I now have motion sensors on entry, doors and windows. You can set the timer on delays before alarm goes off upon leaving or entrance. If you're like me and don't want any wires showing you'll need a 12V DC transformer. Very satisfied with this purchase and ease of use.

Great Product as Advertised

It Activates from Panel, Cel App, Remote control and Can Configure easily to sends Alerts via CelApp, SMS and Phone Call using a prepaid local area Cel Chip. You can configure every sensor with a name, so you know what door is open, no issues with sensor distance between 3 floor story. Can configure if you want alerts ehen door opens or not, Working perfect in Mexico

The Best So Far

It is very comprehensive and well thought out, yes it could be improved but none of the others come close to the quality of this one. The display is excellent and the wizard that walks you through the setup is very good. I had, even with my knowledge some questions for OSI and their customer service response is excellent. With most alarm companies that offer a quality product such as Cove they want you to be locked into a monitoring service, I have Cove on my company industrial unit and to be honest, its not that good but we need monitoring on the commercial unit hence why we chose cove.

Some of the setup and programming is a little strange with the wording disarm always present when it is actually disarmed little bit of a slip up there in R&D and it could have an external N/O relay feed to trigger external wired sirens etc.

The plug in siren is a little on the cheap side and the 115 volt prongs are in the center of the unit meaning it takes up 2 socket spaces when if they had offset them it would only take up 1. If you can plug the siren into a socket where it cant just be unplugged easily is the best bet.

The smart life app could be greatly improved, no history delete is a pain and the display on a tablet or i pad etc is not as good as it should be, but it works fine.

The units external input facility is very good but for most people its just going to be too much to do and the panel would have to be where the old alarm wires are easily accessed.

With all these alarms the communication to your phone is going to be the number 1 priority, as although the units alarm is loud along with the siren, its going to be easy for any thief to disable that quickly once they get their hands on the unit and siren but its a deterrent and no thief likes to work under stress.

All in all a very good system for the price and the fact that they are not locking you into a monitoring contract is a big plus.

Beyond met my expectations…

I bought this because I didn’t want to pay for a monthly subscription and to be 100% honest. It worked better than I thought it would. It is lightning fast and pairs very well with the app. It’s so simple to use and is not glitchy at all. I also bought a camera from the same company and the quality is also great. Can’t beat it..

I’ve been looking for an affordable security system for my motorcycle repair shop. I came across this product and fell in love with the touch screen display. This system was easy to setup and incredibly great quality. I highly recommend this product for home or small business!!!
