I got this for my son who will be in 6th grade. My kiddo has adhd and his 504 allows him to listen to music or audiobooks in class. He does have a phone, but phones are not allowed in class at school, rightly so. I thought an iPod/MP3 player type of device might be the answer. For $69 I’d say this is a great buy for kids, especially if you don’t yet want them to have a phone. It has great parental controls, so I can just install what is necessary and even my hacker of a son, can’t change it 😏 It uses usb-c and comes with a cable. It’s also Bluetooth, so you can use either wired or wireless earbuds. It also has a speaker, which sounds a lot better than what I was expecting. Since we have subscriptions already, I like that we can download Audiobooks and songs and he will not need to use wifi to play them. It does come with 32GB, but is expandable to 1TB. For our needs, the 32GB is fine for now. I like that it’s small, not heavy and won’t take up much space in his desk or backpack. The haptics with the (included 🙌🏼) screen cover on are a bit slower, mostly just when trying to type, not selecting apps or buttons, if that makes sense 😜 Once everything is logged in and loaded the way you want it, you don’t need to type much anyway. The display is vibrant and not pixelated at all, it seems to swipe and respond quickly. I haven’t tested the battery life just yet, but will update. Overall, I think it performs great and is a great buy.

Overall good performance.
Nice speaker overall. Connected to Bluetooth quickly. Sounds great. The bass is more crisp than booming as advertised, but I actually prefer it because it doesn’t overwhelm the quality of treble and highs. The sound quality is decent for the price. Overall the speaker is worth more than the cost.

Handy MP3 player for kids
This is a handy little MP3 device made for kids. We call it a "phone" but it has no SIM card or phone capability, or camera for that matter. My children use it for listening to Spotify Kids and Libby audiobooks, with secondary usage for playing a couple of other kid apps like chess and Starfall on occasion.
It's very easy to do parental controls on this device via Google Family Link or Pecsu's own parental controls interface. I use the former out of habit. You can individualize the time limits by app and allow some to run without time limits. You can easily disable apps so that they disappear entirely, and you can add apps of your choosing.
I have bought predecessor versions of this MP3 player from Pecsu, and the battery life was a problem on both - couldn't get to full charge. This version does not seem to have this issue, but we haven't used it as extensively yet. It's worth noting that manufacturer's communication was excellent when we had issues with our prior purchase (not this item).
The device is very small, which could be an issue for certain apps, but for playing music and audiobooks, it's excellent. It has a headphone jack and uses USB-C charging. Tons of features and compatibile with our family's ecosystem of Android devices and Google usage. The device is a good value at this price point. Excellent product.

Great, Smooth Functioning MP3 Player with WIFI and Bluetooth Connectivity
This is the third MP3 player I have owned. I originally ordered this to share with one of my grandkids, but I am so impressed with the quality and functionality that I plan to keep this for myself so I can listen to news, podcasts, or my audible books while freeing up my cell phone for other things.
This MP3 player works very much like an android smart phone except without the ability to make phone calls. I downloaded Audible and CNN apps as I listen to those often. It also has Gemini AI App, a calculator, and a sound recorder. Plus, you can download more Apps off the Google play store.
The MP3 player is small (2.5 x 4 inches) but solid feeling in the hand. It comes with a clear protective case and has a screensaver preinstalled to avoid accidental scratches. There is a slot in the phone for a micro-SD card. It has 32 GB internal memory. The player has its own internal speaker which is ok but also you can plug in earbuds or use the Bluetooth to connect wireless earbuds or an external speaker. I connect mine to my Bose Micro Sound link. The sound is fantastic.
I downloaded a song, video, and picture from my computer to the MP3 player with ease. A previous MP3 player of mine was a more difficult process, so this PECSU really impresses me. The player comes with a small easy to read instruction pamphlet. The player has parenteral controls and many other features which makes this a great gift for a child that is too young for their own cell phone and likes listening to music or books on tape. I can’t say enough good things about this compact device, technically a computer in a small package.

A nice starter or beginner friendly music player
This mp3 player is super easy to use and requires little to no setup if you just add music to a micro SD card. It comes pre loaded with some apps and that also covers you for playing music. I use yt music for this purpose, which is compatible with MP3 files you load onto a card. It's somewhat laggy but not to the point that it's hard to use, so the performance is not too bad. It's small, smaller than a phone, and quite light too which makes it really easy to carry around.

This is so much more than an MP3 player! Check it out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This PECSU MP3 player is so much more than an MP3 player. It has a lot of capabilities.
I've taken some time to get to know this device so I can make it age-appropriate for my grandson.
Immediately upon unboxing it, I was impressed with the quality of this device. It comes with everything you need to operate it, including a clear protective skin, a charging/data cable, a set of plug-in earbuds, and an instruction manual.
It's solid and has substantial weight for its size. The case is made of metal, and the back may be made from tempered glass or thick, polished black plastic. It looks very sleek and is well-made. If you've ever had an Android phone, using this full-color, good-resolution (not HD) touchscreen device will be easy for you to operate. Its OS is Android 14, and even though it's marketed as an MP3 player for kids, it's actually just like a mini smartphone. The only thing that differentiates it from a full smartphone is you can't make calls on it, and it doesn't have a camera. It uses WiFi and Bluetooth for connectivity and can be used anywhere there is a WiFi signal. It also has a load of internal storage; it has a 32GB SD card that comes with it, and you may choose to switch the 32GB SD card out with up to 1TB for maximum storage capacity. It also comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. Basically, you could preload this with countless movies, tons of music, endless e-books and audiobooks, and be fully entertained when you're away from WiFi.
This device comes preloaded with lots of apps and the Google App Store as well, so you can add any app that you need. There are parental controls that lock to keep kids from accessing inappropriate material. The more I familiarize myself with this, the more I want one for myself for the gym and travel. It has a music player, a video player...even an FM radio! It has Google, YouTube, Spotify, and countless other apps preinstalled. I'm sure if you installed a texting app, you could text via WiFi as well.
The processor is fast enough to keep up with whatever you want to do. It never lags or force closes. Its style and performance are truly impressive. The screen is only 4 inches, but it's surprising how easy it is to type on the keyboard.
There is just one speaker on this player, and if I'm honest, I wish it had better sound quality, but it's good enough and loud enough that you can hear it well. It sounds terrific through Bluetooth earbuds or the included wired earbuds.
I remember back in the day, we used to pay hundreds of dollars for an iPod, and THAT was just an MP3 player. This PECSU WiFi and Bluetooth enabled MP3 player with Android 14 OS makes my old iPod look like junk. I am very impressed that you can get such a versatile, capable, and multi-functional device for such a low price. This is one of the coolest gadgets I've seen lately. I highly recommend it. And keep in mind; it's not just for kids.

So far, this thing is pretty great!
This is a great portable media player. Designed for kids with some included apps with them in mind. Well built with included case to protect it from the occasional bumps and drops.
Battery life has been pretty good during my testing period. It runs basic Android, so easy to use for those that are used to the OS. Android is snappy and responsive. Since it runs Android, you have access to a ton of apps on the Google Play store.
A bit smaller than a typical smartphone with a decent display. So far, it's been pretty rock solid as a media player. Great for the kids, good for adults too.

Wow! Surprisingly great little player!
Wow, very impressed with this player. It's basically a phone without being a phone. The only slow thing about it is turning it on. Bit once it's on it is surprisingly quick in opening apps/settings etc. I haven't run it through hard paces, but e-reading, basic web use, movie player all worked great. The case is a solid metal, feels sturdy and will last. The tpu case that comes with it fits snug and has quality /well placed cut outs. The single speaker on it actually puts out a decent level of volume. Being that's it's Android 14 it's very easy to use.

A Surprisingly Capable Little Powerhouse — Modern Android Meets iPod Nostalgia
If you grew up in the golden age of iPods like I did, the PECSU Android 14 MP3 Player feels like stepping into a time machine that somehow brought back a classic gadget… but upgraded it with everything we wish those old devices had.
Right out of the box, the size and heft reminded me of my original iPod — that same satisfying thickness and solid feel — but with a screen that’s far larger and much more usable. It’s almost like holding a tiny smartphone that simply decided it didn’t want to deal with phone calls or cellular plans anymore.
Because it runs full Android 14, this thing is far more than a music player. You can browse the web with Chrome, install apps from the app store, delete the ones you don’t want, and basically treat it like a compact entertainment device. Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth connect quickly and stay stable, and the built‑in speaker is a nice touch for moments when you don’t want earbuds in.
Storage is generous for the price: 32GB internal (enough for roughly 6,000 songs plus extra room), and the option to expand up to a full 1TB with a microSD card. I wish it came with one included, but I had extras lying around, so no harm done. The metal casing feels premium, and the included silicone cover and screen protector make it feel even more complete.
Performance-wise, it’s not instant — booting takes around 30 seconds, which feels long in 2026 — but once it’s up, it handles music, light apps, and video clips without complaint. The screen is bright and clear enough for YouTube, though I personally wouldn’t watch full movies on something this small (aging eyes don’t help).
Compared to my collection — the original iPod, my beloved iPod Classic 80GB, an iPhone 16, and various name‑brand MP3 players — this sits firmly in the “affordable but shockingly capable” category. It’s not trying to be a flagship device; it’s trying to be a fun, flexible, budget‑friendly media companion. And it succeeds.

Nice option when you want music without handing over a phone
I used this as a separate music device, and that is really where it made sense to me. The screen is a good size, it feels easy enough to navigate, and I like that it gives access to more than just basic local files. Having options like Spotify, Audible, and other apps makes it feel more flexible than the old school MP3 players people usually think of. It also feels like a better fit when you want music, audiobooks, or audio content without using a main phone for everything. My only note is that this works best for someone who actually wants a dedicated device for that purpose, because otherwise it can feel a little unnecessary. For kids, travel, or anyone who wants a separate player for music and audio apps, it’s a useful option.

Nice little player with google play store. Loved it.
One of the only ways this player could be better is if they did not load it up with so much bloatware and apps and just let the user install the apps from play store upon first time setup. The quality of the player is great feels solid maybe aluminum housing with a tough glass touch screen. Comes with temporary pre-installed screen protector, and a tpu or rubberish translucent protective case. claims up to 128gb TF/MicroSD card but worked with my 256gb MicroSD. No problems connecting via Bluetooth or 3.5mm headphone jack. Comes with temporary plastic earbuds, charging cable. Sounded great connected to my Bluetooth speaker. Streamed well via WIFI. Not sure if it is true android 14 or not but it worked.

Great Android MP3 Player for Music and More
This Pecsu G4S is exactly what I wanted. The sound quality is solid and it pairs easily with Bluetooth headphones.
The parental controls are a big plus for my kids. I can lock down apps and set a passcode so it stays just a music player for them. Battery lasts well with the power saving mode, and the 4-inch screen is clear and easy on the eyes.
Comes with a case, extra memory card, and headphones too. Overall a really handy little device.

Factory pre-loaded porn on a brand new “Kids” music player - completely unacceptable
I received this PECSU G4S music player as a gift for my son brand new and still factory-sealed. After first powering it on and checking the files, I discovered pre-downloaded pornographic video clips already loaded on the device.
This is a simple music player, not advertised as containing any video samples or adult content. Finding explicit material on a device that was supposed to be new, untouched and marketed for children is shocking and completely inappropriate. It raises serious questions about quality control and the supply chain.
It’s a shame cause the device itself is really nice.
Do not buy until this is resolved.

Affordable and Versatile
I have tried a LOT of inexpensive MP3 players, and this one is by far the best for one simple reason: it's Android. Most simple MP3 players use their own cheap OS, which typically lacks important features such as using playlists. This device can do playlists and just about anything else you want. It remains very affordable while also being incredibly versatile. You can access the Play Store and download any music player app you desire, which means that you can get apps that modify playback speed, support different formats, crossfade, etc. Android also allows for peak sound quality. Not only does it have a built-in speaker, but it has a headphone jack and Bluetooth connectivity. Unfortunately, it's not clear which audio codecs it supports. Still, the player works well and comes with plenty of storage (when using the included SD card). This is a great option for an MP3 player, especially for a kid who might need something simpler than a tablet or a phone.
A few more notes. Setup is fairly easy since it bypasses the usual Android setup wizard (which is annoying). The player feels sturdy and is a little heavy, but it also has really nice buttons and a good display. I definitely recommend it.

High Performance WiFi Capable Audio and Video Media Player For A Very Very Good Price
This Pecsu G4S is a real media player. It says it is for kids and does have parental control options but I am an adult and I really really appreciate this player that for me is unlimited in performance and options. It plays all my audio files from mp3 to Ogg Vorbis thru to my high resolution audio music files. Very very impressed and happy with the audio performance. Very happy.
I am also surprised and pleased that this Pecsu G4S also plays my video files. All my video files from my old low res AVI’s to my recent mkv and mp4’s.
Very happy I am able to play anything I want without conversion. Very nice to have the options to play video without problems. The video plays with ease, probably due to the high-performance octa-core processor and the fairly recent Android 14 system. The current version is 16 but I do not mind as I believe the newest version are more geared to security. I am very pleased with the optimized performance provided by version 14 this G4S has. Very happy with this player.
I am very happy with the apps included and already installed on this player. All apps work well and fast. Nevertheless, I can if I choose, I can download anything I may need in the future easily from the Google Play store.
Pecsu has provided this player with everything I could wish for. I am very pleased I can find such performance and capabilities for way under $100. This player would be a value at twice the current cost. This player is a deal. It also has a decent bottom firing speaker too. Very similar to speakers found on cell phones. FM radio works fine too. This player does not seem to miss a thing.
This is not my first Pecsu media player and I have been very happy with Pecsu players and performance. This player is really all I need. It does the job for all my audio and videos. It has great capacity and came with a Pecsu branded 64gb TF micro SD card to boost the 32gb built in memory. This is all I need for now though I never do expect to need the total 1TB this player can handle. I am happy for now and I am sure I will still be happy with this G4S years from now.
This player feels very good in the hand, the materials feel high quality and the construction, feel and performance of the buttons and touch screen are responsive and easy to use.
The responsive touch screen is very bright and clear. Videos, pictures and mp3 album are look great.
It connects to WiFi very easily and connection is solid. No problems. Bluetooth 5.0 connection and performance are also great. BT connection to headphones or my external speakers was fast, solid and sounded great too. This Pecsu G4S provides for easy solid stable connection all the way around.
I am really very happy with everything about this player. This digital media player is 5 Stars for value and performance without compromise. This player is very very much worth the reasonable price.

Very good player - but not at all perfect
I've been living with this thing for a couple of weeks now and It's turned out to be a rather competent mp3 player. It's basically a mini Android tablet with a nice screen, an SD card slot, USB-C charging port and glory of glories it actually has a 3.5mm headphone plug! It also comes with a charging cable and a clear protective case which I chose not to use. As a player the sound is excellent and I've noted no quality issues since I've set this up.
"Since I set this up" is the key phrase here. Setup was not at all a pleasant process and a couple of times I had to do a factory reset and start over. I could not change the lock screen password after I initially set it and eventually just decided not to have one at all since it was just going to be music. It didn't read the SD card I had preloaded with music even though the same works just fine on just about every other device I have, so I had to reformat another one just special for this player. I also uninstalled a number of apps and it took me a couple of tries to get rid of the ones I'll never use. The processor is not what I would call "high performance" and sometimes it took me a couple of tries to move icons to different screens because I was working too fast and the player was lagging. There is also a parental control app that simply cannot be uninstalled. I can see the reasoning behind why it's there but don't have kids and I don't want it. Like it or not you're stuck with it, but you can disable it in the settings.
Once set, this is a solid little player with a decent battery life. It paired with my audio-technica bluetooth headphones without a fuss, it just took a minute for the player to actually process there were actually headphones hooked up. The radio works and picks up most of the major local FM stations. Built-in external sound is comparable with a smartphone and equally as annoying - that's not a technical fault with the player, just a societal fault of people who use their phones as public loudspeakers.
This can also be used to browse the web, view a photo, watch a video, and do basic smartphone tasks that don't require a lot of processing power. Games probably wouldn't be great on this thing but it great for checking email if you have an open wifi connection available. It has a dark mode, you can change wallpapers, and you can even get into developer mode if you tap the build number in the settings just like any smartphone running Android.
If getting this setup to how I wanted it hadn't been such a royal pain I'd give this five stars. It's a solid player, sounds good, and is pretty much my dedicated aux input for my car stereo. Not at all perfect, but not at all bad.

A Versatile, Powerful Solution with Audio Warnings for Audiophiles
This MP3/MP4 player, featuring the Android 14 operating system, positions itself as an incredibly versatile pocket solution for media consumption, rather than a traditional music player. The system performance is acceptable; the octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM handle apps and transitions with decent fluidity. However, there is a noticeable drawback: when playing music via Bluetooth and operating the device simultaneously, small skips in the audio are felt, even when playing local files. The major upside is that the Google Play Store works correctly, allowing you to download and install complex streaming apps like Spotify, Pandora, Audible, and Libby without issues. App management is straightforward, functioning like an Android phone (without SIM capability).
Audio quality is a factor that requires a warning. The general sound is acceptable via the Bluetooth connection, but for users accustomed to high-quality audio, there is a subtle, uncomfortable high-pitched sound in the tone of the songs. The build is a strong point: the tempered glass front and back with smooth metal edges give it a feel of durability and scratch resistance. The FM Radio works but requires wired headphones to act as an antenna, which is to be expected. The Eye-Care options (Night Light and Dark Theme) are acceptable for reducing eye strain, and the 96GB memory capacity (32GB + 64GB card) is verifiable.

Perfect for my son
This Android 14 96GB MP3 player with Bluetooth and WiFi is nice quality, well made, and perfect for my 13 y/o son. I decided that I won't give my son a phone until he's a lot older since I gave my daughter a phone at 13 y/o and it really messed with her mental health (not to mention how she was glued to her screen). I was expecting just an MP3 player, not the included accessories, such as the wired earbuds and silicone case. It also includes a type C USB charging cord/cable. The MP3 player itself is straightforward and easy to use.

Miniature android device. Perfect for listening to music on flight without WiFi.
On the plus side, this is a compact android device that doubles as an mp3 player (also works with apps such as Spotify, Google, pandora, YouTube, etc. Sound via headphones is good (moderate) and responsiveness is on par with kindle fire of perhaps 5-6 years ago. Good color touch screen with reasonable touch control.
For negatives, the startup sequence is rather slow from full off (quick if just asleep) - approx 20 seconds. The device was not recognized by my windows computer so only way to load music on was to remove memory card and load it via separate device.
Overall, it will work well for intended purpose which is to have access to music without WiFi (on airplane). Good value for money and not too difficult to use.

Basically a Mini Android Tablet
This nifty little MP3 player not only plays MP3’s, but also has a built in radio and a full fledged Android system (running Android 14). We ended up loading a number of Android apps on it and it runs reasonably well for non-graphics intensive apps (Gmail, yahoo, discord, etc.). Certain apps, like Spotify, YouTube, and Chrome are preloaded. It also has a child control feature which allows you to prevent certain apps from loading -- a nice touch.
It ships with a 64g TF card so you can transfer music immediately and start listening. It has Bluetooth to pair your earbuds, as well as a headphone jack (which doubles as an antenna for the radio). All in all, this is a versatile unit for the money, with good sound quality.
Areas of improvement: the processor is not the fastest, so higher demand apps are not recommended. The WiFi is not particularly strong; you have to be a bit closer to the router than your iPhone, for example. There is no camera. While it’s a nice added plus that it ships with a case, the cut out for the USB-C charging port is not precise and you need to take the case off to charge. Easily fixed with a little sanding.
Recommended with the caveats above!

Everything you need in a music player and more! Even comes with protective case.
This Pecsu brand MP3 player has more features and capabilities than I can list. It comes packaged very nicely in a gift box that includes the player, a USB data and charging cable, a pair of wired earbuds, a user manual, and a nice protective case. It has a very high-end appeal.
This music player has Play Store preloaded on it as well as Pandora, Spotify, Audible, Libby, and more, all of which can be updated through the Play Store. Just like a phone, you can add apps through the Play Store. You can also delete apps you don't use.
I especially like that it has an eye care mode because I have sensitive eyes and I always used eye care on my other devices.
It has its own internal speaker that sounds like a cell phone speaker. It has an FM radio connection that I didn't even know existed anymore and is capable of holding up to one TB of memory.
I also like that this can be used as a recorder, which makes it perfect for meetings, lectures, or even doctor's appointments.
This is a kid-friendly device with parental controls and the eye protection setting. Its multi-functional operation and flexibility make it great for the whole family. This is a well-made, high-end, substantial piece of electronic equipment that comes with everything you need to start using it immediately.
For me, it's going to be my workout buddy, and I will, of course, share it with the other family members.
I am really happy with this music player and highly recommend it to you. You will not be disappointed.
