Great vertical mouse! The battery life is pretty crazy, I can use it for weeks without charging. The grip is perfect for my size hand and the buttons are nearly silent. The wireless charging pad is a fantastic idea to keep the mouse charged with minimal effort. The only thing is I'm still getting used to how tall it is when going from typing to using the mouse I find that I knock it over from time to time.

First Impressions of Perixx PERIMICE-713RX Wireless Rechargeable Vertical Mouse - Duo Wired and Wireless Charging Feature - Charging Pad Included - 6 Buttons Design - Black - Right-Handed Design
I use my computer a lot and sometimes I get carpal tunnel in my mouse hand. This mouse helps put my hand in a more comfortable and natural position reducing strain. The tracking is very fast and adjustable. The buttons are very smooth and quiet. However, it’s new for now. Let’s see how it fares after some wear. The charging pad glows different colors on the rim.
If over long term use, my feelings change about this product, I will update this review. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.

When I ordered this crazy looking mouse I was curious as to how it is ergonomically designed. Well when it came I got my answer!
THIS IS A RIGHT HANDED MOUSE!
I was so surprised at how incredibly easy this mouse was to use. It felt amazing on my wrist and hand and the material used felt very sturdy and like a good quality material was used to construct this mouse.
This mouse offers 2 great ways to charge it. You can use the cord that is included OR the also included a charging pad that once charged, offers wireless recharging. The package also included a USB-C to A cable for easy wired charging. The colors that rotate around the button of the charge pad really added to my game play and experience. While charging it rotates through the colors making it very visually appealing
The shape of the mouse really caters to a more natural relaxed hand position. I did suffer any fatigue after a 3 hour gaming session. The SIX customizable buttons really boosted my game play! My most used commands were right there at my fingertips.
The clicking of the mouse is so so quiet. And having the ability to change the DPI on the mouse to adjust how sensitive the movement is was a huge help. It made everything more precise.
The design may seem a little funky at first but after using it more and more you will notice how it fits the natural way your arm wants to be when holding the mouse. Its an extremely functional and accommodating mouse that I think anybody would love to have. I have used trackball mouses for almost 25 years but this crazily shaped mouse has won my heart

This is my first ergonomic vertical mouse, and I am sold, in spite of how odd these things look. It is so much more comfortable to use this thing for any period of time. My old mouse was no slouch, but I find I don't have to stretch my wrist so much now.
Packaging was nice and professional. Everything came in a durable box with details of the mouse and features. There were 2x 5' usbA-to-usbC cables, a wireless charging pad, the mouse, and a detailed booklet in multiple languages (English, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese).
The mouse can be charged by directly connecting one of the provided usbC cables into the mouse and into either a charger or a computer with power delivery usbA. You can also use the second usbC cable with the wireless charging pad and place the mouse just a little off center to charge it without messing with cables every time.
The mouse has 3 DPI settings (1000, 1600, 2400), controlled with the "DPI" button on the top of the mouse. It also has 2 side buttons, in addition to the usual left and right click and scroll wheel. The coating on the mouse is a velvety soft touch, and the buttons are very silent. There's an on/off button on the bottom when in transport. There are 4 gliders on the bottom of the mouse that allow it to glide smoothly on my rough kitchen table. The mouse is also fairly light.
It has a footprint similar to my full sized mouse, but it's twice the height. The mouse itself also has an LED swoosh that lights up when it's charging, either wirelessly or when plugged in. The scroll wheel works smooth, and you can feel the soft clicks as you scroll, but not hear anything. I find that the 1600 DPI is the sweet spot for me, but your preference may be different.
I've seen ergonomic vertical mice for way more than this Perixx so if you're looking to swith to something more comfortable for those long computer sessions, this is a great buy. Not sure how this thing would game, as it doesn't have a lot of DPI settings for your customizing pleasure, but for daily use, this is a winner.

I have used a trackball for many, many years and have seen these vertical mice and wondered if it would work better, ergonomically.
The unit comes with the optical mouse, a wireless dongle, which can be stored in the body of the mouse when not in use, a charging pad and 2 5 ft. USB 2.0 to C cables. It is sized for medium-sized hands. Mine are on the small size and I could use it, but it just felt a bit large.
The charging pad lights up with a multi-color changing pattern around the edge whenever it is plugged in and I found it to be annoying, so I chose to recharge the mouse with the included cable. The slot for the cable is fairly narrow, so I wasn't able to use the cable I use to charge my other devices.
Both the mouse and it's scroll wheel move the cursor smoothly around the screen and it was comfortable to use, although it took a bit of getting used to due to the position and the fact that you need to move the mouse rather than just a ball as on a trackball. I did notice that clicking the button to select an item didn't seem to work consistently and often took more than one click, so I am taking off one star for that.

Taking a bit to get used to this 713RX dual Verical Mouse. It is for RIGHT HANDED FOLKS, the design would not work for a lefty.
This mouse can be used either tirelessly via Bluetooth & receiver or plugged in vai USB cable.
There are 2 USB cables in the box; 1 plugs into the charging base and the other can be used to plug in the mouse of need be.
It is very comfortable in my hand and I can certainly see how just by changing the angle of my wrist, it should help ease my carpal tunnel issues.

I use my home laptop while sitting on my couch with my mouse on a side table. It makes for an awkward hand position on my mouse and I often just use the trackpad on my laptop, which I find less than ideal.
I’ve seen someone use a vertical mouse before and they would swear by it but I remained sceptical as someone who has used a standard mouse for decades.
I saw this vertical mouse and decided to give it a try.
One of the neat things about this wireless mouse is that it is rechargeable and you can charge it with a USB-C cable or with the included wireless charging pad. I can confirm, as you can see in the pictures, that the wireless charging does work.
I was very pleasantly surprised that using this vertical mouse does seem to come naturally, I thought there would be a learning curve but there really isn’t, it works great, just plug and play to my Windows 11 PC.
The mouse has all the standard buttons, left, right, forward and back, it also has a nice scroll wheel. Finally it has a 3 setting DPI button which essentially works like speeding up and slowing down the pointer on your screen.
A very nice mouse option with a more natural hand position.

I want to like this. It definitely works fine, and the connectivity is good. It's got a soft-touch coating, so it feels nice. Wireless charging pad is great. The ergonomic benefits? Questionable. I haven't been using it long, and maybe I'll get used to it after a few weeks, but it's weird. It feels weird to wrap my hand around it. I don't know yet if I'll keep it long term or if it'll drive me crazy before I get used to it.

Edit: After getting a few hours of use on this thing. I would not recommend it for gaming, especially fps.
Originally i thought it was hard to get used to because of the shape but its actually a little different.
Most mice are made light so its easy change direction. This mouse was made to be ergonomic but should not have been made light. Because you are moving the mouse from side to side pretty quick. It actually lifts up the bottom where it looses tracking, and you are holding onto it like a shark fin so you have to constantly push down on it so it continues to track. This is the biggest downfall imo for this unit
Out of the box it is quite weird.. It takes a bit of time to get used to. I am unsure if its actually charging or not.
But will see after a few weeks and will update this.
Overall for non critical gaming I think its fine and daily use.
I don't know if I am bugging out or i feel like it responds slower.
I will try to find a way to objectively measure and update later.
So far it works and I cant dock it on design.
