Small but mighty
"Downgraded" from the HD version since switching to a smaller board. Was pleasantly surprised that it has the same features as the HD, just smaller. Plus, it's upgraded with a USB C connection.

This is a must have and only tuner you will ever need. I have never been so excited to tune!

Compact
Super accurate
Easily readable display
Bypass options (true/buffered/monitor mode)
Silent activation/deactivation
Modified tunings
Customizable display
Others-
The settings can be a bit cumbersome to navigate and the side buttons that perform this function require a little side room to access, negating some of the benefits of the compact size
Overall I love the tuner. For those of you curious as to how it can be buffered and true bypass selectable digitally, it sounds like the foot switch triggers a solenoid internally based on the pedal settings rather than the footswitch being the actual mechanism opening and closing the circuit. This also enables the tuner to turn on and off with no switching noise.
I’ve used this thing to dial in my intonation super precisely as well as just tuning between songs. It’s very easy to read and not as jumpy as cheaper and less accurate tuners that have dial or LED scale displays. I have used the “sweetened” guitar tuning and it does change the sound ever so slightly but it depends in what key and what frets are being used to improve the overall sounds.

Simple, accurate, and easy to read. The “sweeteners” are great and make my guitar and bass sound fantastic. It makes correcting intonation a breeze and will always be in my signal path. Highly recommend!

Really easy to read pedal board tuner. The ability to configure into different colors, musical notation, and the number of different instruments is a big bonus. The website configuration tool is a little clunky but effective once you learn to navigate. However, the tuner works great right out of the box and takes up no more room than other brand name mini tuners. Great addition to any pedal board.

I decided to put together a smaller pedalboard since the Band is taking a little Winter break & I needed a Tuner.
After some searching I found this Peterson Mini-Stomp & it is Frigg’n PERFECT!
Built like a tank, very quick & accurate & the perfect size.
I had Tap Plastics cut me a little 3/4” Riser to raise the pedal up so when I’m “Tap Dancing” I don’t change something else LOL!
I’m now going to order it’s Big Brother & replace my TU3!!
I like it that much.
It comes with a lot of Bells & Whistles but I just need a tuner that it Accurate & can see on Stage!
Bravo!!

I've owned several Korg, Boss, Polytune etc. and so far this is my favorite of them. Easy to use, superbly accurate, two power options. Don't have to spend hours tuning. The accuracy makes tuning faster and easier if you know what you're doing. You will get the hang of it fast. Also shipping from the seller was super fast, received the next day! It's a nice smaller, compact, less bulky version of the original. As far as functionality, it's exactly like the bigger one, but with an updated hd screen. If you don't want to spend more on the bigger one, just get this one. You can't go wrong!

This is an awesome little tool for musicians. It's small footprint is a ton helpful. The top mounted jacks fits my setup well, only gripe is the DC IN is on the side.. it would have been nice if everything is on top - but that is just nitpicking. i noticed the slight delay when muting, and it bothers me just a little bit but im used to it now.

I've been using Peterson Tuners for over 20 years. Started with the big 490 strobe thing that helped me tune pianos. Then I gradually kept getting different versions of them right down to the apps on my phone and ipad.
The original Strobostomp was cool but was this gigantic blue plastic thing. It was unwieldly and just a giant footprint on any pedalboard. I loved that it had a DI out for acoustic but it was still just like *almost* a great idea.
I got the other StroboStomp HD when it came out and it is great too. While not as big as the original it also felt somewhat cumbersome and heavy. (it has been relegated to the pedal steel board) I love how you can change the color and the sweetened tunings for acoustic, 12 string, electric, mandolin, pedal steel.
But when I saw the StroboStomp Mini at NAMM this past year I practically threw my money at them. Yes! Take my money. This is it. This is perfect for my board. I don't know how to make it any better. Maybe same size but with XLR output for acoustic instruments? I'm reaching here.
AND Customizable with the USB and plugging it into your computer to keep the most used, the colors all that good stuff. I didn't even know I wanted that until it was offered here.
Lots of pedals have come and gone but my Peterson, in whatever form, has been a constant for a long, long time.
I don't know how to recommend this guitar any more.
OH!! Some people have a hard time getting used to the strobe tuner instead of whatever you call the other way but once you get used to it - so much easier and you can see it across the room and it's great.
