The item arrived very well packaged and protected. After opening I noticed the build quality of the items. They are not made of cheap plastic. They are made of metal and have a good weight to them. You can tell they will hold up over time. That is one thing I look for is durability. The setup is super easy and if you have any difficulty at all the included directions are easy to understand and follow. After getting the receiver to sync up with the mic the very first time all I had to do was plug it in and we have sound. I love how quick the setup is. The clarity and the range it provides are great! This will for-sure be used along with all the other Phenyx Pro arsenal I have. This unit will be so handy to have as a backup mic/lapel or when I need to add one more quick mic for an event.

I recently put the PDP-2-1H1B wireless microphone through its paces on a demanding, week-long tour across the Pacific Northwest, and overall, I'm highly impressed with its performance. As a hip-hop artist, having a reliable microphone that can handle dynamic vocals and stage presence is crucial, and the PDP-2-1H1B proved to be a reliable workhorse. It delivered consistently great sound quality and exhibited a robust build quality throughout the diverse environments encountered on tour.
From intimate indoor venues to more open outdoor settings, the PDP-2-1H1B maintained excellent audio clarity and dependable connectivity. The sound reproduction was consistently rich and clear, capturing my vocals with impressive fidelity and punch – essential for hip-hop performances. Its sturdy construction gave me confidence that it could withstand the rigors of frequent travel and setup.
There was only one instance during the entire tour where the microphone's performance faltered. For reasons I couldn't ascertain at the time, the audio dropped out or became inconsistent during a particular segment. While this was a minor blip in an otherwise flawless run, it's worth noting. However, given its exceptional performance in every other scenario, I'm inclined to believe this was an isolated incident rather than a systemic flaw.
Despite that single anomaly, the PDP-2-1H1B consistently delivered professional-grade results. For fellow hip-hop artists, musicians, presenters, or anyone needing a reliable wireless microphone for touring or regular use, this model offers excellent value. I'm confidently giving it a four-star rating and would highly recommend it for its strong audio performance and durable design.

I got to try this out for a graduation event and it did a fantastic job. The small size of the receiver is perfect for smaller events and the rechargeable feature it top notch. I was getting compliments for the sound quality. This company is always putting out great products. I recommend this mic system to anyone looking for quality and portability.

Hands down the best plug n play system on the market. You get 1 body pack and 1 handheld microphone. Both run simultaneously to 1 receiver.
I’ve used other wireless systems similar to this but the mics always have low gain.
Not this one.
Check out the pic. Channel 1 is running a Shure SM58 using the stock Bose wireless transmitter.
Channel 2 is this Phenyx Pro system. The levels set produce the same loudness. The gain on the Shure Mic has to be turned up significantly to match the Phenyx Pro system.
Through the Bose S1 there was no noticeable difference in sound quality between the Shure and Phenyx Pro mic. The lav mic does sound a little bit “hollow” with voice but for my purpose it doesn’t matter. I use it as an instrument mic for an acoustic bass. For vocals though, an EQ would solve this in a snap.
As far as build, the receiver and the body pack have a metal housing. Both feel sturdy.
The handheld is a bit light, but sure that it would survive a drop from a stand. But we will see.
Either way I’ll be using these as much as I can.

I was given the opportunity to test and review the PDP-2-1H1B, if you’re in the need for a handheld and headset mic for a speaking engagement or even a live musical performance, then this is a simple solution that simply works.
I direct a 20-piece big-band jazz band. I used the handheld mic for an hour and the headset/bodypack for the second hour of a 2-hour rehearsal. Both mics performed flawlessly and worked right out of the box.
What’s In the Box:
The PDP-2-1H1B comes with everything you need to simply plug-in and go. The system comes in a nice, organized box with foam inserts to keep everything in place. You can use the box as a case if needed. The system comes with:
1 handheld mic (Transmitter) made out of metal, and feels very nice in your hand.
1 Bodypack (Transmitter) that supports the included headset mic and lapel mic
1 1/4-inch Receiver that plugs into a line port on your mixer or powered speaker.
1 ¼ inch L shaped adaptor
1 1/8 adapter
1 Wind Guard
2 AA Batteries
Quality of Product:
Typically for this price level, you’d expect to see a low-quality product made of plastic. That is not the case with the PDP-2. The Handheld Mic, bodypack and Receiver are made out of metal. They have some weight to them and the mic feels great to hold. As with all Phenyx products I’ve tried, the antennas on the Receiver and Bodypack are quite thin and seem like if something was going to break, it would be that.
Testing the Product:
As mentioned I lead a 20-piece big band, it’s quite a large group to rehearse. I used the handheld mic to speak to the band between songs and give instructions. The band seemed to hear me quite well. I also had our vocalist use the handheld mic for two songs and the mic worked fine. The tone quality was acceptable. For the 2nd half of rehearsal, I tried the bodypack and headset. Again, no issue, the bodypack worked as expecte.
Overall Experience:
Overall I’m very impressed with the quality of the product. I think Phenyx did a nice job in the build of the handheld mic, bodypack and the ¼ inch receiver. The system worked flawlessly during rehearsal. It’s a nice solution for anyone looking for a minimal simplistic setup that just works.

This is a review for the Phenyx Pro PDP-2-1H1B wireless microphone system. I will start with this, I use a wireless microphone 5-6 days a week as a presenter and emcee. I also work as a musician both live and in the studio. My review is going to focus on live use.
I have been using the PDP-1 handheld wireless every day for nearly a year. With proper gain control and EQ, this wireless sounds great and has not failed once…that’s over 200 setups, uses, and tear downs in a year. The battery is still strong, and the unit just keeps working! This PDP-2-1H1B is the same…the handheld is rock solid.
The Wireless headset works well. The transmitter to receiver connection is solid and has good distance of travel. The weakness with the headset is the mic itself. It has a hollow sound and just doesn’t sound good. There is a noticeable ‘hollow’ sound in the mid-range. Aggressive cuts between 500Hz and 1000KHz help. HOWEVER, I have a headset mic from an old AKG wireless, and it has the same three pin connector. I plugged the AKG in and this wireless sounds GREAT! The transmitter is rechargeable, so ZERO batteries are needed. Swap out that headset and you have a great live hands-free solution!
The lavalier mic is again, weak…sorry to say. No matter where I place the mic it just isn’t going to sound good enough to use in a live setting. Even when I plugged it in to my DAW to record, it just sounds cheap. Feedback is an issue, and I just couldn’t find an EQ setting that was useable. Mind you, it is NOT the transmitter, it is the mic. The transmitter is great and sounds amazing with a good microphone.
In summary, this unit is priced so well that you can’t expect miracles. This unit is worth way above the price. The handheld has been my go-to and I’ll use it every day! Plug in the right the mics, and the transmitter is equally as good. I use Phenyx Pro gear daily. Always reliable able to take all that I throw at it. Indoors or outdoors, hour after hour it just works.

Great mic for quick portable setup. Simple and easy. Great range and options. Handheld, lapel or head worn all in one small package. USB charging cable has not usb and usb-c options. Also works great as a talkback. Great value all around.

As a small church worship leader, I often visit churches that don’t have wireless microphones, and the Phenyx Pro PDP-2-1H1B has been an absolute lifesaver! It’s incredibly easy to set up—just plug it into the existing sound system, and you’re good to go. The wireless range is solid, and I’ve experienced clear, interference-free audio every time.
Not only is this perfect for churches that lack wireless mic setups, but it’s also great for small family gatherings, weddings, and events where you need a reliable microphone for speeches or singing. The handheld and bodypack options provide flexibility depending on what you need, and the build quality feels durable.
If you’re a worship leader, musician, or speaker looking for a portable, budget-friendly wireless mic system, this is a fantastic choice! Highly recommend for anyone in similar situations.

Not sure if this expected behavior. The receiver does not charge and even when plugged in, it doesn’t turn on. Likewise the handheld microphone as well.

This microphone was designed for the "small-scale indoor and outdoor performance" and it does just that. I have used it for three outdoor events and one library teaching workshop and it was just what I needed. Good tone, no cut-outs or drops, economical, and convenient. I plan to buy a second one for my duo partner.

The PDP-2-1H1B wireless microphone system is amazing for the price. For $80, you get a handheld microphone, a bodypack transmitter, a receiver, a lavalier microphone AND a headset to use with the bodypack, 2 AA batteries, 2 audio adapters, windscreens for all 3 microphones, and a usb c cable that can charge the receiver and bodypack at the same time. If I had no experience with Phenyx Pro, my first reaction would be that the products must be junk in order for them to be so inexpensive. However, that is definitely not the case. The build quality feels good and sound quality is good as well. My church was able to use this product at a youth camp recently, and it performed very well!
This product operates in the 900MHz range. This is great because you don't have to worry about interference from wifi or other 2.4GHz wireless devices. It's possible you could still get interference in the 900MHz range, but there aren't as many devices out there that are operating in that range. The handheld receiver has 15 frequencies (channels 1-15) and the Bodypack has 15 separate frequencies (channels 16-30). Changing channels is super simple. On the bodypack, all you have to do is press the channel button. The receiver automatically switches to the new channel! For the handheld microphone, you have to unscrew the battery compartment to access the channel button. But, again, all you have to do is push the channel button to change the channel and the receiver automatically follows. I like that you can charge the bodypack and the receiver at the same time with the included double USB-C cable. It was a little hard for me to get rechargeable AA batteries out of the handheld transmitter, but maybe it will get a little easier over time.
The fact that there is only one receiver for two microphones is awesome! At the youth camp, we used a battery-powered speaker that only has two inputs. With the PDP-2-1H1B we were able to use the lavalier mic, the handheld, and a plug a guitar into the speaker and use all 3 at the same time! One downside to this configuration is that you have no way to change the volume on the bodypack and the handheld microphones individually. Phenyx Pro did a pretty good job at balancing the level all of the microphones. However, to get the handheld microphone as loud as the bodypack, I noticed you do have to hold it quite close to your mouth. Which again, it's better if you don't have to hold it right against your mouth.
Build quality: The handheld microphone feels like it's metal; it even sounds like metal when I hit my wedding ring against it. It's very light, but still feels solid. I found the mute/power button was kind of hard to push, but not a deal-breaker by any means. The bodypack feels very solid as well, and the buttons are very easy to press. The receiver is plastic, but the build quality is still very good for the price.
Sound quality: The overall sound quality is great. I love that the system is digital, because in general, digital is going to sound better than analog (especially cheap analog systems). The handheld microphone has good sound quality, I find it sounds the most natural if you hold it around 4 inches away from your mouth. If you hold it much closer than that, it gets really bassy and has more plosives and sibiliance (although the windscreen can help with those problems some). You could also reduce low frequencies if you have that capability with a mixer or a powered speaker. I was also pleasantly surprised at the sound quality of the bodypack with the lavalier and headset microphones. I did find that cutting a few db around 1KHz helped the bodypack sound a little more natural. However, it is more than usable "as-is" for small events, etc.
Noise floor: I hooked the PDP receiver up to an audio interface and listened to it on my computer. I found that the system does introduce a higher noise floor versus using a standard wired microphone. It didn't matter whether I used the bodypack, the handheld microphone, or both, the noise floor was the same. Because of this, I would probably not use it for any podcast or music recordings. It's not a bad noise, just standard noise floor sound. And, it's virtually unnoticeable in a live setting.
Noise handling:
I would say the handheld microphone is fairly average when it comes to noise handling. I noticed when I would tap my wedding ring against the body of the microphone, it would produce a loud sound through the system. Other than that, it's not too bad. It also does make a fairly loud audible noise that can be heard through the receiver when the mute/power button is pressed. I don't think this would be a major problem unless you needed absolute silence for some reason (ie a funeral or something). I was very surprised with how little handling noise the lavalier and headset mics have. You can tap around the bodypack, up by the microphone, and even on the headset with little noise. There's very little noise unless you tap right on the lavalier/headset mics, which is to be expected.
Range: Unfortunately, I didn't think to test the range when we used it for the youth camp. Both the handheld microphone and the bodypack worked fine when I went upstairs in my house though. I also have the handheld PDP-1 handheld microphone, and when I tested it, it cut out when I went very far outside of my house. Just to be safe, I would recommend staying within 30 feet or so of the receiver with any these kind of portable systems. You definitely want to have no obstructions between the microphones and the receiver if you are going to try to use any kind of system like this very far away.
Battery life: So far, I have had the bodypack and the receiver on and connected for more than 4 hours. I'll provide an update on this later.

This wireless mic kit from Phenyx Pro is seriously versatile. It's got a handheld mic, a head worn mic, and a lavalier mic, so it can handle all kinds of situations.
Rocking Solo Gigs
If you're a solo musician or performer, the handheld mic is clutch. Whether you're a singing guitarist or a spoken word artist, you can work the stage freely at local venues or intimate shows.
Keeping Fitness Classes Engaged
For yoga and dance instructors, the head worn mic is a lifesaver. With your hands free, you can easily guide your classes through all the moves while making sure everyone can hear you loud and clear.
Nailing Those Presentations
The lavalier mic is perfect for speaking gigs. It's discreet and hands-free, so you can captivate your audience without any fuss.
Easy Setup
Getting this thing set up is a breeze. Just pick a channel on the handheld or bodypack transmitter, and it'll sync up automatically with the receiver. The receiver has handy lights to show you when it's connected and receiving audio.
Two Mics, One Receiver
Here's a cool trick – the handheld transmitter uses channels 1-15, while the bodypack has 16-30. That means you can actually use both mics at the same time, feeding into the same receiver channel.
Mic Performance
The handheld mic has a tight pickup pattern, so you'll want to stay close for the best sound.
The head worn mic is about as sensitive as the handheld, so your voice will come through clearly.
The lavalier mic is super sensitive and louder than the others, but you can adjust levels at the mixer.
Long-Lasting Battery and Range
The rechargeable bodypack and receiver can last up to 12 hours on a single charge, so you can power through multiple gigs without worrying about recharging. And with a rated range of up to 200 feet line-of-sight you've got plenty of room to roam. I tested 100ft without any dropouts.
Classy Packaging
The whole kit comes in a nice molded foam box, giving it a premium look and feel. Bottom line, the Phenyx Pro PDP-2-1H1B is an awesome all-in-one wireless mic solution. Whether you're a solo performer, instructor, presenter, or anything in between, this thing has you covered.
Highly recommended! A+

I gave one of my singers the PDP-2-1H1B to try out at Leading Zero’s show last night. I can’t believe the sound quality for a wireless mic that cost under $100!!!! It was so easy to use, just plug and play. This can keep up with our higher priced mics AND it doesn’t take up a rack space!

All in all, this is a good setup if you plan on teaching in a large space and need something mobile. I found the hand mic and the headset to deliver very good sound and have no complaints about them. It could also be good for music/karaoke, but that might not be my first choice for it.
The lapel mic could have been tuned better, though. The gain on it is set so much higher than the other two that, at the same volume level, the sound is distorted and easily gives off feedback. My impression is that they boosted the sound on it to work so that you could put it under a tie or clothing and still get a clear sound. However, the difference is so great that I don't think you can use it at the same time as someone else on the hand mic, which would be frustrating if you wanted to interview or interact with someone on the same receiver. You would have to use the headset mic, which may not be everyone's style. Still, the headset mic is at the same level as the hand mic, and I can use those together without any issue.
Overall, it's a good set with a few quirks. Maybe I just got a unit that is a little janky.

I have a home recording studio with professional equipment and I needed to add another wireless mic system.
I didn't have high expectations at this price range but I was pleasantly surprised at just how good this system sounds.
So I first tried the handheld mic and it actually sounded (I would say) within about 90% of the quality of my professional wireless mics!! However, keep in mind that you WILL need to be able to EQ them to your taste. I plugged the receiver into my small mixing board that has an EQ built-in and I was able to EQ the bass and treble just right. At that point they sounded fantastic.
Then I tried the headset and lavalier mics and again, was surprised at just how good the quality was.
One huge plus with this system is that it is built on the USB-C recharging system. So you're not having to deal with AA batteries, etc.
Connectivity was simple and easy. I just simply turned on the receiver and turned on the handheld mic and they connected automatically. Same thing with the transmitter for the lavalier and headset mics. The great thing about that transmitter is you can change the channels as well in case there's any interference from other devices. I love the digital readout on the microphone and transmitter as well. The receiver itself is made of good quality casing and looks professional.
So coming from a guy who's been in audio production for over 30 years, I will give this wireless mic system five stars considering the very low price entry point they have. I think for people on a budget, this is an excellent entry-level wireless mic setup and can be reliably used at events and productions.
GhettoStyles
The handheld mic sounded great with no added background noise. The headset also sounded good. The Lav mic was a little noisy but I think it is still usable with proper treatment.

I recently received this mic and finally got to do a thorough test...
Shipping:
INSANELY Fast. I received my order in about 30 hours of placing it. Which is usually unheard of.
Packaging:
The box is neat, feels nice and sturdy. Graphics are nice as well. Everything is in a foam cutout inside so it's kept safe in transit - and makes it easy to see all the accessories/pieces to the system.
Handheld Mic:
I've had experience with the PDP-1, and this is essentially identical to that. Connecting to the transmitter is a breeze. Battery life is amazing. I had a 4.5 hour gig that I used this for and it did not drop signal once, the battery used maybe one bar and that didn't happen until the last 30 minutes. It's a very hot mic - so tons of wiggle room when running through a board. Sound quality was crisp. There is some handling noise from the microphone. But when playing with a band and other sound is happening - you don't notice. Now if you're using this as a public speaking mic, you might hear it depending on how aggressive the speaker is with handling the mic. I also tested this with being hooked up to a harbinger speaker in the basement and went upstairs to the farthest points east and west in the house. I even went out into the garage with no drops or interference. 🤘🏼
Headset:
We have been looking for a solution for our drummer to be able to contribute on vocals without having more clutter of a mic stand behind his kit. I've been shopping around for a wireless headset for him to keep things neater - but wasn't sure what we should pull the trigger on. I am please to say that this is an amazing and cost effective solution.
Lavalier:
I tested this running through a PA and through a Canon 5dMkIV. Sound quality is crisp. It does pick up a LOT of background noise such as if you're moving a lot and it's rubbing on clothing or if you bump it. It was a hotter mic than the headset and handheld.
Overall - I'm wildly impressed with this microphone system. I would absolutely recommend this anyone interested in finding a versatile wireless microphone option. This set allows me to use it in a band setting, or for while I'm shooting video and interviews. Comes with a 12 month manufacturer warranty and lifetime supportive customer service. Of which, Phenyx pro is VERY responsive - something that is a huge perk as well. 10/10 recommend!

Great piece of kit so far. Super happy.
First and foremost: any piece of gear i use for my company has to work without fuss. No point in having a fancy piece of gear with expensive features if it doesnt work during a shoot. So far the Phenyz pro system has worked without flaw. Both transmitters connect to the receiver without fuss and the connection sounds rock solid.
Very low noise floor on the preamps, the sound is good and the mics are good as well.
Love the metal construction. Feels premium and looks professional.
Little to no interference, RF noise or other static.
Good extra features and touches like the 1/4 20 tripod thread, locking lapel mic, and other things.
This has become a staple for shooting weddings and live events.
the only downside is that the handheld mic uses AA batteries while the other 2 pieces of gear have built in lipos.... kinda strange....

I thought my karaoke machine was garbage, but the Phenyx Pro made it sound so good! This kit includes a handheld microphone plus a wearable transmitter that enables either a lavalier or headset microphone. Even if you only have one microphone input on your karaoke machine, this system will allow you to sing duets! I only wish they included a storage case. This system is nice and deserves protection when not in use.

This set worked out of the box, and was as easy as pushing the "on" buttons. I like the tubular nature of the receiver, as it plugs into my amp with the antenna sticking straight up. It was able to maintain a solid connection as I walked around my house, and isn't too sensitive to movement. I have a cheaper set that transmits fine, but picks up so much noise from movement it makes you nervous to walk around! The sound quality is fine for a pick-up performance. A very nice set!
levinel_online
My third set of cordless mics, and the second set with a convenient plug-in receiver. And unlike my previous, this unit DOES have adequate range.
MY MAIN INTENDED USE: Zoom presentations with a live audience. The presenter gets the belt-pack, and the introducer gets the hand-held, which is later passed through the audience for Q&A. Tested tonight in a medium sized meeting room, the mics were able to cover the entire 10 rows of seating.
FEATURES
- Plug-in style receiver is compact and battery powered - it does not need a power cord.
- Three microphone options. The use of mini-xlr on the belt pack suggests better shielding and resistance to interference.
- Better construction, weight, fuctionality, and instructions than my prior set. The external antennas on the receiver and belt pack may be the reason for the better range. (A table top receiver with dual antennas would have still greater range.)
MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATION
- Keep the receiver vertical. A right angle adapter is supplied for that purpose. And place it as high as possible. The photo shows my implimentation of the first recommendation. I've added a rubber foot to the angle adapter to stabilize its position when plugged into an external sound card with an 1/8" horizontal jack. Without the rubber foot, the receiver would flop over. (If you can plug into a 1/4" horizontal jack, that's not a problem.)

This kit is designed to work with an audio mixer. The Lavalier mic quality was Okay but the handheld mic sounded better.
Matt
Conclusions first.....
This system is perfectly acceptable for use in many environments. The UHF connectivity works great and avoids interference that 2.4GHz systems encounter. The rechargeable batteries in the receiver and the beltpack transmitter are nice, which the handheld microphone is lacking. Sound quality in the handheld mic is clear, but it takes regular AA batteries and the overall quality is lower than other Phenyx Pro products.
Longer review-----------------------------
- Background -
I have used Phenyx Pro UHF transmitters and a UHF receiver into a Behringer X32 Compact soundboard for a little over 2 years. When I saw this quaint little 3 piece set, I got excited! Now I can take the features and familiarity of the Phenyx products mobile with a pair of Bose S1 Pro speakers to use for smaller events where you don't need 4 beltpacks or 4 handheld mics.
- Receiver -
The receiver is nice. Small and easy to place anywhere. I like that you can charge it while in operation, and eliminate the need to carry a bunch of rechargeable batteries. Plug in a power bank and you are good to go for hours. There is a 90 degree 1/4" elbow which comes with the receiver, but I found that it is much too tight to be of assistance. When I try to plug it into the Bose S1 Pro, it ends up hitting something in any direction. The system operates fine with the receiver plugged in sideways, but this probably isn't optimal for range.
- Beltpack transmitter -
The wireless belt pack feels REALLY nice in your hand. I'm not totally sure how I feel about this having an internal battery.... It's really nice you don't need extra batteries, but also, if the battery goes bad it's probably trash. All in all, it is a nice feel, and the internal battery I imagine gives much longer performance that disposable or rechargeable AA. Plus, 1 less expense to keep this working. This does ship with a USB-A to dual USB-C squid type charging cable. Thank you! I hate a mess of individual cables.
The buttons on this unit are on the front, and you can power on, mute, or change the channel from the transmitter. Not sure how I feel about the location.... We will see if this results in more inadvertent clicks/presses/changes than if the button were on top or side. The buttons are pretty firm, which may save it here.
- Lavalier -
The lavalier is basic. Not thoroughly impressed with it but it's not the worst I've seen. It is a T3AF connector like other Phenyx Pro products, and you can find other lavs with this connector. For live events, it will work just fine. For recording, I might look for something better. I did not test the headset as I prefer lavs for the type of work I do.
- Handheld Transmitter -
This was the biggest disappointment. I have other microphones similar to this, but it was not what I was expecting from Phenyx Pro. I have several other Phenyx Pro handheld UHF microphones, and they have completely aluminum bodies with removeable capsules and mesh grills. This handheld microphone has none of those. I tried twisting, and noticed I was having to apply a lot of force that didn't feel safe. I survey the microphone again and it appears to have the same lines where the unit should unscrew, and as I resume attempting to disassemble I start to hear some cracking... At this point I stop, it's not my desire to destroy the unit, but VERY DISAPPOINTING that the quality is so much lower than other Phenyx Pro handhelds. From a performance perspective, the sound quality is fair enough for live performances, and even live streaming or recording. Even close to the speaker I did not appear to be getting any feedback.
- Range -
As far as distance, I walked about 120 feet away, past/through a glass wall and around a block corner before I started to get some breakup in the sound. This was all with the receiver in the sideways position. I think the 160-200ft line-of-sight range is perfectly reasonable and accurate as stated. My 120 foot test was obstructed. This was with the handheld transmitter, I did not conduct a similar test with the belt pack.
- Other Notes -
• The instructions on the product are really good. While the product is intuitive to use, I'd rate the instructions above average for a product in this price range.
• The packaging is nice. I plan to store the items in the OEM package when not in use, and the foam cutouts are well designed for that.
• The 90 degree 1/4" elbow and 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter are added benefits to use this in multiple types of scenarios.
• The balancing of the audio levels could be tricky. While my use of the lavalier/beltpack and the handheld microphone together at the same time seemed like they were at similar levels, depending on who is using the handheld, or where the lavalier is clipped, you could end up with one transmitter sounding very loud and the other sounding very soft with no way to adjust the levels of the transmitters independently. That's the sacrifice for the simplicity of the system I suppose.
Overall, I like the system. Quite disappointed in the handheld microphone quality (look/feel, not sound quality), but it's not total garbage and similar to others at this price point. Just not what I was expecting having used Phenyx Pro Handhelds for several years. This system will get plenty of use, and I have no reservations about using it on an ongoing basis.

Well made set - choice of handheld or headset mikes - or use together for a duo - headset has locking min-xlr connector to body pack - mikes paired easily - sound is decent - setting gain on headset may be trickier, too high and you'll be getting lots of pops, hit the sweet spot and it's very good. I play solo and in a duo. Sometimes I switch between guitar and keyboard. A headset mike gives that flexibility - several audio adapters are included as well as a dual USB charging cable for belt-pack and receiver. Handheld mike takes 2 AA batteries which are included. The headset is not adjustable, but should work for most. Overall a nice package. And a good value for the price point !! Recommended !!
