Pretty minimal effort put into this book. While my granddaughter might have enjoyed pushing the buttons and seeing Elsa, there isn’t much of a story to it at all and the images are actually kind of unsettling. Not uplifting. More dark and frightening than anything else. I’m going to return it.

Random narrator
Cute books but the narrator isn’t actually any of the characters. My nephew is 2 and loves these books but the Mickey/Minnie books are read in their voice. Same with the Sesame Street books like you get Elmo’s voice and Grover’s voice etc. This narrator is just a random male voice. Sad because my nephew loves Olaf.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER
Sent me a book with no pages in it and claimed it was used and in “good condition”. Not only is it missing all of the pages the sound doesn’t even work when you press the buttons.

No. Just no…
Extreme disappointment when I saw the condition of this book. It was not purchased as used. I was ready to return and rebuy but went through the book and realized how generic it is. Do not recommend.

Why didn’t I read reviews??
My year old has been counting down the days for this book. I’m hoping he’ll get bored (it sucks) quickly, and I can just return it. I thought it was in demo mode. Nope, it’s just that crappy.

Boring
Eh this is a bit boring book. It's all about Olaf being able to read and each button read each page in the same voice which is not Olafs voice. It works for young kids because of the buttons but it's not engaging for older kids.

Engaging and Easy to Use
I think this is great idea for beginning readers who want some independence. This is a short book with colorfully drawn illustrations of familiar Frozen characters. It tells about Olaf wanting to read. The words are simple and the sentences short; this makes it easy for the child to follow along/ sight read at times. There are buttons down the right side; when the child touches the first button(Olaf), the narrator reads the words on the first two pages, and so on.

The corresponding buttons narrate entire book
The corresponding buttons read the entire book to the child. There are 10 pages in the story and each page shows the image of the button to press to read the text on that page. Also the buttons go in order from top to bottom. My 4 year old son likes Frozen and knows a decent amount of sight words so he enjoys reading this book. I don't like how cheap the pages are, I foresee them ripping easily. I also have a 1.5 year old daughter and she LOVES Frozen, so even though this is a beginner reading book my daughter will want to look at the pages and push the buttons- I'm not sure how long it will last. The story is very basic and centers on Olaf. This book introduces new characters that are in the Frozen 2 movie, but none of the Frozen 2 storyline is revealed in the book. Overall it's a decent beginning reader book, not very durable though in the binding or pages.

Simple but as advertised
I'm not sure that this will really help a kid learn to read, but our kiddo does enjoy flipping the pages and listening to the story. It's obviously Frozen 2 themed but no plot and very simple sentences about Olaf. There's a picture on the page to help the kid know which button to press to be read that page. I would expect the most frequent use will be if your kid likes to stay up at night flipping through their books like ours does.
