Great Sound

Just got the Pioneer DJ HDJCUE1 Bluetooth headphones and I am really happy with the quality… very sturdy and comfortable and the sound is awesome. Very clear and great bass. I highly recommend these headphones. I am amazed at how great they are for the price. The battery life is great plus you can use them with the provided cord without Bluetooth… 5 ⭐️’s I would definitely buy these headphones again.

Ehh I wouldn’t say dj headphones

I been i dj for 25 years .. and to tell u that these are “dj” headphones wouldn’t b a lie.. I have used a lot of “real dj headphones” and those headphones are basically beginner level .. but that’s kinda like my own opinion cuz I’d rather have a more er on the gigs and mids so when you beat match it’s alot clearer .. cus these headphones are more of a regluar styal of listening like equal high mid bass but that’s like up to ur preference.. as of size around the ear and like wear and tear.. they’ll seam to break down faster because the ear isn’t as large .. all Ik is as a regular dj .. I’d pass and get the lowest model of line real pioneer dj headphones for like what 30 dollars more wich is well worth it .. thank god these are Bluetooth cuz I’m gonna give them to my kid or like someone that likes to just listen to music .. cuz definitely not tuned in for my preference of “dj headphones “

Amazing Headphones

Pros:

•Great sound quality as expected from Pioneer /Pioneer DJ

•Light weight and portable

•Bluetooth works great!

•Well made even though they are primarily plastic. The steel headband is a huge plus for durability

•Bluetooth phone calls are great. Best headphones I’ve used for phone calls so far.

Cons:

•The supplied ear pads are a bit stiff. After some hours, I get a bit of a headache after a while. I have a pretty small head as well.

•They don’t come with any kind of carrying bag like other Pioneer DJ products.

Conclusion:

They are a solid headphone especially at this price point. I ended up getting some 80mm velvet pads for daily use as they are softer and more comfortable for long use. I don’t use them for DJing so the stock pads are perfect for that use. I also purchased the Pioneer DJ carrying case which they work well. With that case although it does not say it is compatible with the headphones.

The sound quality may seem a bit muddy at first but after a bit of burn in time, the sound does clear up a lot. The velvet pads also gave them a slightly brighter sound due to a bit of leakage from the different type of pad. Definitely recommended for any kind of use.

Cable broke after 3 months of gentle use. The plug is not standard size so other cables don’t work

Good pair of on ear headphones with options for customization

Pioneer makes a number of this style of DJ headphones, this product specifically has the option for you to swap out the ear cushions and wired cable to different colors that they sell. This product is very similar to their less expensive DJ headphones, except that it has the addition of Bluetooth on board. It supports AAC and SBC codecs, so no AptX here. I was surprised with the sound quality, it sounds very good for a pair of headphones with bluetooth that costs less than $100. This is not an over-ear type of headphones, it's on-ear. This might not be a big distinction, but there is a difference. I am not an audiophile or expert when it comes to audio signatures, I can't say if this has a flat sound or not. It does really sound nice to my ears, and better than the average pair of headphones in this price category with similar featured products. The wired cable is the coiled kind, which gives you a longer length in a shorter form factor. As far as I can tell, there is no companion app that comes with this product like many headphones now have. Some people like the added smarts that a mobile app can add, I like the ability to adjust the EQ settings and that is usually a feature of those apps.

The bluetooth connection was strong with my iPhone, I didn't have any problems with connectivity. The customization options by changing the colors of the ear cushions and cables isn't the kind of thing that I would be interested in, I would just buy the color I wanted from the beginning. The charging situation is something I didn't like, it uses Micro USB for the charging port. At this price point, USB C is standard in 2020-2021. It charges in 2-3 hours and lasts for 30 hours on bluetooth mode (sometimes less with maximum volume for long periods of time. This is a good pair of headphones, they sound great, but in my opinion this is not the most bang for your $100.

Very good sound quality

I have the black version of these amazing headphones. Normally I do not prefer on-ear headphones since they are less comfortable than over-ear headphones in my opinion. However, these headphones are much more comfortable than I expected. Ear cups and the headband are cushioned and are very comfortable. Having the flexibility to use the headphones wireless or wired is another great feature of these headphones. In terms of sound, the bass and the overall sound quality is phenomenal. These headphones do not have a noise-canceling feature. So if you can't live without noise-canceling, you should not buy these headphones. I liked these headphones and I have no complaints. I would recommend this product. Please see the photos attached to get a better idea of this product.

Amazing Sound with Excellent Bass

I forgot how great DJ-Style Headphones can sound because I've been wearing Earbuds too long. This set of rechargeable Bluetooth headphones sound about as good as my old $295 Sennheiser Headphones plugged into an FiiO AMP. The only two things that I might say (if I nitpick) is that these are "On Ear" (not Over Ear that surround the whole ear) headphones, and my ears to get hot down here in Florida when I wear them. Those aren't really complaints, just observations. Overall, I love these. The battery life is good. The sound is amazing. They make a good seal on my ear and cut background noise. They were easy to connect. They get my seal of approval.

Very well made, wonderful sound!

These are very comfortable, compact, easy Bluetooth connect, wireless or wired. Deep bass, very present, upfront sound quality. Many others feel as if your listening to a distant sound source, not these. It’s as if they have a built in amp in comparison to several other brands. Volume turns up much further than several other brands I’ve compared these with. My only complaint is they weigh a bit more than I feel sits comfortably on my head as I like to keep the headband either behind my neck area or in front of my chin, I never wear the band on top of my head, so these do slide from the weight as the over ear foams actually sit on top of my ears and not actually around my ears, so the weight of them does cause them to slightly drift or slide down when in use in the manner which I wear them. If you wear them the traditional way they are absolutely perfect. Great product.

Great sound, uncomfortable

This is kind of a mixed review for me, mainly because the design of the ear cups is kind of terrible. It’s too small, which means it is uncomfortable and sit awkwardly over your ears. In addition to that, it does feel quite tight on the head. Because the air cups are so small, it doesn’t allow for optimal entry of sound into the ER as well, kind of like the difference between someone speaking through A toilet paper roll, as opposed to speaking through something more open. Having said that, you can tell that the sound quality is great, with very clear definition, strong base, and treble that doesn’t sound tinny at all. It’s good for music of all genres, as well as audio… But you won’t want to do it for very long because it’s not very comfortable.

Works well for gaming, listening to music, or TV

Although these are intended as DJ headphones, I found they can work for all-purpose situations with light use. The main difference between these DJ headphones, and other pairs I own by major brands not intended for DJ purposes, is that these don’t surround your ears. Rather, there is a smaller hole to focus music at your earlobes. The music quality is good but not great. My other pairs that go for about twice this price are noticeably better. If you are not picky about sound, and you don’t notice much difference in headphones, you will be happy with these.

Pros:

-easy to set up and pair with devices. Worked with my phone, laptop, and smart tv.

-holds a charge for a long period of time.

-These are adjustable and don’t fit too tightly so they feel comfortable for any head shape.

-Fold flat for easy storage.

-Audio noises when you power on and off.

-“R” and “L” displayed on the inside. I always put them on backwards otherwise.

Cons:

-This uses a usb micro cord to charge. As most modern technology has changed to usb-c, I was disappointed to have to start using this type of cord again.

-Doesn’t come with a case or bag to prevent dust collection.
