Artículo malo

Lastimosamente el producto no duró 2 meses y ya tiene daños que el soporte directo de la marca no le encontró una solución y no sale para hacer devolución por daño en el artículo

Works!

Works as designed, the software is a bit sketchy chineseium but if you can figure out how to interface with it by paying attention to the manual and online videos, you’ll have no problems!

have had it for a month, and its reliable

its consistent and reliable on my bi weekly use of this device... i am not able to push multiple universes on this... so ymmv... but i will be expanding now that i can with this device... there is a learning curve as the manual is very thin... but give it trial and error before live environment and it was fine for me.

Arrived immediately

Arrived immediately and was packaged in very sturdy Styrofoam to protect it. Instructions, and power cable, included.

As advertised, the ArtNet DMX Interface is 8 Channel and a 19" rackable size allowing for many peripherals and more complex schemes. The readout is very clear and I like the blue readout screen.

The sleek black design has a good presentation, and should look crisp next to your other components.

Overall it's pretty good one, with almost no issues.

Initially ordered different manufacturer version of 8 port ArtNET-DMX converter with PowerCON and Ethernet in-out ports, which makes them easily stackable with single power and network feeds, but seller sent totally different product and seller never reached back, so just returned (reimbursed)... this one came last night and I had no time to play anymore return-replace/reimburse games...

Overall product is great, bigger sibling in PKnights CR0x1 family, so easily upgradeable... ChamSys recognized it straight away...

Screen, controls and menu are exact same with CR041 (I already have 2 of them and both work great so far, easily configurable either directly from ChamSys or DMX Workshop tool... PCB design is also remarkable... pretty clean soldering as well (quality assembly line equipment).

So, why - stars? 😀

-1 still questionable how device managed to pass QC (it has formal sticker on it), when it took 7-8 restarts, so display finally displayed something... - I thought LCD contrast potentiometer was messed up, but it doesn't have one, fully dependable on onboard MCU. Finally it displayed some strange symbols and after 2 more restarts MCU finally started properly (so far no issues after 30 power on-off cycles)...

-2 you can see one of the power supply capacitor is "smoked" ‐ no critical issues yet, but definitely going to replace with good one, before formal use...

Finally, once again - it is great product, but get it at your own risk, you might got surprised 😀
