Cute… Not well made.
This was a Christmas gift. It looked really cool when we put it up… but within a few months of using it they started breaking one by one. There’s only one left now that will hold keys. Big disappointment.

Missing parts
Will be happy to update my review if this can be resolved. I did not receive the hardware to screw the unit onto the wall. Not sure if it’s a factory defect or what but it only came with units and plug-in’s.

We love this! This actually was a compromise because my husband would NOT hang up his keys and when I said we could get this instead of our normal key hooks he was all for it. Now everything he comes home it’s the first thing he does! It also is very neat and adds a bit of him to to the space!
Update: 2 years later most of the amp chords for the keys broke, we only kept on house key and car key on each so that was a bit disappointing, wish it had lasted longer.

At home, we really didn't have a key holder to place our keys. This key holder gave a cool positive reaction to my wife and stepson and they immediately wanted a plug to place their keys. This was fantastic since they place their keys anywhere and then struggle to look for them later. The Fender amplifier looks awesome and is a perfect size where we wanted I wanted to install it. Installation instructions are clear and hopefully the sturdiness will hold up. Great value for a Fender replicate amplifier!

I love this key holder, it is definitely unique which is what we were going for! The quality is great for the price. It is also extremely easy to mount to the wall. If you're on the fence about getting it, this is your sign! You won't be disappointed. :D

Loose jack ports
Where you put the amp jack into the box it gets loose so it doesn’t hang straight. It’s probably because it can’t hold a lot of weight. So if you have light keys you’re probably just fine!

Cool concept, poor materials
I thought this was a brilliant idea. I purchased a couple of these; one for myself and one as a gift. I had been using it for approximately 6 months and then the cords started to break. I never pulled my keys off the amp by the cord, I always pulled them off by the plug itself. I don’t have a lot of keys on the ring either (4), so I don’t think that weight of the items on the ring is the problem. I just think that the wires are cheap and flimsy. I’m constantly taping them up. If anyone has a solution to this problem, I’m happy to hear it.

Seems Perfectly Fine to Me
First off, I HATE using anchors, cause many of them are cheap and snap. These are actually not bad, just use a 7/32 bit and tap the anchors in with a hammer (wish the instructions would've given the bit size).
An included template would've been cool also, since when in the final "lock" position, your holes may have been drilled off a bit. Copy the size to a piece of paper, cut that to shape, then place the paper on the back (write "wall side"), put it in lock position and poke hole into the paper where the screw hole are.
It is a hard plastic, and they use actual audio jack which are meant to be used with wood, so yeah, they will probably become loose after daily plugging/unplugging. The screw on the outside is actually holding holding the jack into the holder, so if it starts getting wobbly, grab a wrench and tighten it/them.
You can buy "locking washers".
I do have an issue with the keychain adding weight, so thinking of buying some keychain carabiners to clip onto the plug, and hey, in the case I need to run out the house I won't have to unhook/de-clip my key, I can just pull the plug.
These things are AWESOME looking, licensed and come on? Anyone who respects their amp, will use more than a yank on the plug to disconnect.

It's perfect
It works great holds all the keys with no problem. Instructions are OK just doesn't have the size of drill bit needed, good I know how to measure size of bit needed for the anchors.
Now.... if the guitar plugs are to tight to pull your keys out just loosen up the braket before hanging it, that's what I did cause the guitar plug is a little hard in disconnecting.

Great holder but 2 out of 4 of the wires that connect the plug to the keys broke. We will be ordering separate plugs. Not for keys with weight to them

My husband FINALLY remembers to hang his keys
UPDATE! We just installed our 3rd one of these so now we have one by the front door at all 3 houses so nobody’s keys get misplaced any longer. And at the beach house we have extra key holders with a binder clips so our guests can quickly snap the keys onto one and use it while they’re visiting!
We've had key hooks in every house we've owned and yet my husband could never remember to hang his key up - and I mean key as he is down to only 1 freaking key for every car he owns and when I had to go hunting in pockets, it would drive me insane. He is a guitar player and I knew as soon as I got this it was my only hope. He hung it right after Christmas, got his keys all ready and is actually using it (no idea where the key is from the car he drove yesterday, but I will be yelling at him as soon as he wakes up.) This is a cute novelty gift that any guitar player would love.
