Keeps most of the bad sound

These work good. I run a pneumatic trailer and it’s insanely loud. These do a good job but some noise does get thru especially if they’re worn sideways to accommodate a hard hat. The Bluetooth, pairing, volume and sound is really good. Not difficult at all to pair with a phone.

Protects My Hearing, Plays My Music, and Now It's Tactical Too

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I bought the PROHEAR 037 primarily for two of my louder hobbies: working at the scroll saw with the dust vacuums roaring away, and mowing the yard on my big tractor. Apparently, I enjoy activities where everything around me sounds like a small airport.

These work great. They knock down all that machinery noise while Bluetooth lets me listen to music instead of spending hours enjoying the soothing sounds of VRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Of course, I couldn't just leave them alone.

I added a tactical camo headband cover because clearly hearing protection becomes more effective when it looks tactical. Then I added cloth ear-cup covers, which make them more comfortable when I'm outside mowing and sweating like I'm personally responsible for irrigating the lawn.

The Bluetooth connection has worked well, the hearing protection does its job, and they're comfortable enough to wear for extended periods. Between the music, noise reduction, and my completely unnecessary but highly satisfying modifications, they've become my go-to headphones for noisy work.

Five stars. I can run the scroll saw, dust collection, or tractor while protecting my hearing and listening to my music.

And now that they're tactical, I'm not mowing the lawn anymore.

I'm conducting vegetation suppression operations.

Product box

The actual box it came in was damaged as if it were used. Product works fine and is not damaged.

Comfortable and great battery life.

Bought these to use while driving my Kubota B2601 tractor. They work fantastic. The battery life is great and they don’t get uncomfortable after 3 + hours.

Not satisfied

I bought them on August 2025 and they worked fine but suddenly they stopped working, they had a noise while using them. Seems to me that the material is a very poor quality

G

Gahngis

Not that durable.

Had it for barely a month.

For it to fall on the ground and bust open. Have to mummify it in tape to keep it closed.

Bluetooth only, sound good. Decent noise protection.

They sound better than the 3m headphones I am replacing after they broke. No radio built in, but the bluetooth works well. The label on the product may violate 19 CFR Part 134 – Country of Origin Marking that defines “country of origin” as the country where a product was manufactured and subsequently entered into the United States. I was unable to locate any country named CHIN. They are pretty comfortable and my initial assessment of the construction quality is that is seems to be pretty good. Now to see if they hold up over time.

not so comfortable

after a couple of hours the plastic ring inside starts to bother your ears

Comfortable! Definitely helps reduce noise while mowing, fit snugly

I needed these! My hearing would be altered and sensitive after mowing our 2 acre yard. I can’t explain exactly what I mean by altered hearing, but I knew I needed to get noise reducing headphones. I wanted to have music or listen to an audiobook while mowing to help pas the time. These headphones worked great for me. I could still hear the loud engine from the zero turn mower but it was muffled and the music I played sounded decent despite the engine sound. The volume was good, easy to pair with my phone AND my tv, the battery life is great - I haven’t had to charge them yet and I’ve used them for several hours, & the size fit me great. They’re durable and stay on tightly. I decided to get too close to some low hanging branches and my glasses and hat were knocked off, but not the headphones! The volume control is easy to use and conveniently placed on the ear piece. They adjust easily to fit my husband too, just pull or push up/down on the ear part. My husband asked me to pair them with our tv in the bedroom because he doesn’t like to hear the tv while he sleeps but I do. The quickly paired to my tv and I fell asleep with my movie playing which helps me fall asleep. The only downside to wearing in bed for me was my ears became sweaty. So there are likely better options for sleeping.

eh

not very tech savvy but i bought these september 2025, and the part where the earjack is, broke, maybe five-six months in? like theres this metallic sound rattling around now and theres no place to insert the cord anymore

im very gentle with my electronics, so i suppose frequent use caused this? buyer look somewhere else

Didn’t last long at all

Stopped working after 3 uses. Charging light works no problem but headset will no longer power on

Great for drum practice

These headphones are great for practicing drums. They cut down the volume of the drums enough to help protect my hearing while allowing me to practice along with music or a metronome. They feel durable, the volume gets loud enough and the music quality is average but for the money I think they are great.

Donald

Does what it says… but?

It worked good until it didn’t. Music quality wasn’t great by any means however it was a welcomed feature. One day the headphone just won’t take charge.

mk4_wolfie

I mean.....

I know I have a big head but I didn't think the headphones where going to compliment it....

They feel nice, sound decent for work. I can't complain other than they make my head look like a solar system.

Great noise cancelling, crap speakers

Not bad. Sound quality is like many others here have said, mediocre. And depending on your type of music the speakers crackle a lot. But as long as I’ve got some tunes while working I’m good. They are fairly bulky as well. For those of you with larger heads these are a little tight, which overtime becomes somewhat uncomfortable for me. The noise cancelling is very good tho. Overall not bad for $35.

Bradley

Fit perfectly, Thank You!

Worked perfectly!

May look funny on your head, but work fantastically well

This headset/ear protection may look funny on your head but they work great. Note: you must use a 5.0v USB-A charger. A usb-c charger that support other than 5v will not work.

Bad ear pad design

I’ve had this headset for a couple months and the ear pad has already fallen off. Love this headset for comfort and sound quality but the ear pad has a very poor design flaw, the clips around the ear pad don’t hold it in. Little disappointed in the quality for the price have to pay.

Broke in 3 months!

We bought these for my son back in April to use while practicing drum set, and he loved them! But the other day I watched him plug an audio cable into the jack, and it simply broke out and ended up inside the device. He wasn't using excessive force or doing anything inappropriate, they just broke! Feels like they should last longer than 3 months.

Broke after only a few hours of use

Quality seemed ok but the ear piece came loose after very little use. Would not recommend and company support is nonexistent

Poor quality control.

Foam pads were not sealed, white foam hanging out. Defective right out of the box and totally obvious issue. See photo.

Worn only two times

The headphones have very good noise reduction for when I'm using them on the mower, weed-eater, etc. They are comfortable and the bluetooth connectivity is very quick to connect to my iPhone 11 Pro. Sound quality is good, but not great, but I didn't purchase these headphones to be the best audiophile headphones. These are for when I'm working so I don't really need the best quality sound. But with that said, the sound quality is better than I expected. I have only worn these two times for a total of about eight hours. The only complaint that I have is that the cover is pulling away from the padding. I will contact customer service to see if I can get replacement pads ( See UPDATE below). But I was very disappointed that after only 8 hours of wear, this happens. Hopefully customer service will be great and the problem will be resolved. I will edit this review after speaking with customer service.

UPDATE 8-16-23. I emailed customer service and they were great! They shipped out new ear pads promptly and they were super easy to install. I also wanted to update about the sound quality. I listen to streaming music with one of the popular providers and I was able to go into the music service app and adjust the EQ. I had it adjusted to iPod Pro's, so after making the adjustments these headphones sound great!

Please protect your hearing when mowing etc. You shouldn't hesitate on ordering these headphones.

Quality issue

Excited to get these for work however that excitement was quickly diminished once I seen the quality of the foam ear pieces. This photo was taken right after I removed them from a brand new box. Very disappointing.

Worth Every Penny

Just got this in and was pretty excited to check the audio quality because I like to jam while working in the yard cutting grass or using the chainsaw. The setup was very easy just like any other Bluetooth device and the audio quality was pretty good (certainly not a professional sound system but this isn't the focus of this product). Usually other devices hurt your ear drums after using them because the audio quality is terrible (too much treble), but these do not...great quality audio and even better ear protection from loud noises. I use this product while weed wracking, mowing the grass, and cutting logs with the chainsaw and it certainly protects my hearing while giving me a beat to work to. They are just a little bit too tight around my head and I don't have a big head, but I can't say I really am complaining because I never had them fall off with all the work I do, so really this is an added benefit.

My 4 year old daughter has another kids version of this by another company but she always requests to use this one, and I can't blame her. This product works great and I would buy again if I had to. I habe had mine for almost a year now and they are still holding strong.

Great sound

I used the work tunes headset for about four years eventually the padding started to fall apart and the battery would only charge to medium level, a good quality headset. I decided to give these a try as you can raise the volume level, man they are nice, very comfortable and are excellent for blocking out the noise to include adjusting the volume on the headset not just by using the phone volume. I drive and work on the back of a batch truck loading helicopters with chemical and fuel, these in comparison to work tunes really blocks the sound and by adjusting my volume I can still here my music when the bird is on my platform.

Not what I was expecting

I really wanted to like these. I bought this as a replacement to my 5 year old 3M worktunes. I tried using them at work and they failed the sound test. This was disappointing to begin with. But then the left ear cup speaker is actually louder then the right. So I couldn’t stand listening to music for even on the mower. So I am sending them back and buying a new pair of the Worktunes.

In my opinion the Prohear do have way better sound if they would have been balanced right. But they are supposed to be passive hearing protection first and they couldn’t even do that.

Docc

More durable that 3m worktunes with better sound. And slightly better comfort

Overall an excellent value long battery life. Strong bluetooth connection and durable I bought two pair of the 3 m worktunws and both pair showered out after a month

Did alright. Lasted longer then my other brands I've tryed.

*UPDATE 4/14/23* Well after 1year and 7months, the bluetooth finally died, worked up until yesterday after work, went home and put um on the charger and the light started blinking instead of solid. Went to turn it on and nothing.*** also the padding around the headband is pulling apart and the plastic inside the padding broke and a pain to adjust them now without pulling the adjustment bars out of the headband.

*review when new* I've used 3M's noise cancellation pro headphones for a few years, and they work great! Probably best noise blockers I've used. But after the last 3 headsets I bought from them, their cheaply made and don't last long. The 1st set the charger port broke after a year 😔 loved that set.... 2nd wouldn't charge out of the box, 3rd the right speaker quit working after a month. So I decided to try these out but to only be disappointed in the noise cancellation. They block a little bit of noise but, I work in a plastic factory with very loud grinders so I need something that blocks alot of the sound. These only block half if that of what 3M pro's can block.

So Pro's-

-Comfortable.

-Ok seal around my ears.

-Great battery life!

-Pretty good BT range connectivity.

-Not that heavy.

Cons-

-Imo poor noise cancellation.

-Doesn't get very loud for audio *to drown out what it can't block* 🙄😒

-Imo pretty big to not block hardly any noise.

-Very poor wall Penetration for the BT. 3M pro can reach through 3 walls and reach over 50yards through those walls and over 80 with nothing Obstructing the signal, these ProHear's will not work through 1 wall and disconnects in under 10 secs if not close to the source, takes 3M 5mins to disconnect.

All and all. I would not recommend these headphones if you are going to use them in very loud environments. Mowing your yard? Sure their fine.

Butch

Better than before.

For earmuff headphones not HiFi, these are pretty good. It's just they were too tight for my big head. They headband is just a bit too rounded.

They connect to Bluetooth very fast. They have the same build as the WorkTunes.

It would be great if they had Hi Fi but oh well. I didn't like seeing the big made in China letters on the box, but what can we do?

2nd purchase , bluetooth upgraded, headband better, sounds alot better ,

Had to flex headband a bit, so it wouldn't be tight on my ears, now they are perfect.
