These are fantastic drumsticks! There are well balanced, non-slip and sound great! SADLY, I am deducting at least one star because of a noticeable flaw in the finish of one of the drumsticks that either got by QC or allowed to pass through by AQL, uggh. My left-handed luck lol.

Little heavy but very good bounce. Church drummers are enjoying playing with these new sticks.

Buen material, peso y grip, mala calidad de la pintura

How disappointing if you can't even paint the color right. Quality is too bad. Just DONT BUY

It was comfortable to play with until it’s not. The coating started peeling off.

not durable enough to play in a rock band. I have played with 7As for years and although these are extremely lightweight, that comes at the expense of durability. I bought 5 pairs (I have had a good experience with Pro Mark in the past) and broke 3 sticks at the first practice with them (literally got like 20 min of playing out of each stick); I will be returning the other 3 pairs. I liked the concept of the built in grip tape but its irrelevant if the sticks break so fast. I am an experienced drummer, so trust me. If you like 7As because you want to play fast in your rock / punk / metal one, look elsewhere because these arent the ones.

Colours are faded and not as described

Sticks seem fine just came pretty scratched up.

They’re sturdy, Delivered fast! My husband and kids, Nieces and nephews use them. They’re still in great condition
Este producto dice rojo rosa pero no es…
Se le cae la pintura muy rapido, en solo 2 meses y se hace muy incomodo para tocar, por lo otro son buenas

I have been buying these for years for my son, from age 10-16. He plays very hard and often. Let's say while playing an important gig (with Sean Yseult from White Zombie), he was using another pair of sticks that broke. Thankfully he had a masterful handoff of a Promark and he's never gone back since! Seriously though, these sticks are incredible. They don't slip, and even though the black wears off midway to the tip (just proof you're actually using them), the grips stay true and don't peel or wear off. The wood will wear, but he's played his sticks to whittled nubs. They DO break after time, but always when old and worn, not prematurely. Something we can say about all the Promark sticks he uses. These are his favorite though. If you watch the video you can see the black at the grip and the weathered mid to end. But you can also see how they hold up to tough playing for 5+ minutes, even in this state. Other sticks would have given up for sure. Highly recommend these sticks.

No one wants slinters in their drum sticks. These came with a big gash in one of the sticks as you can see from the picture. Returning them!

I’ve used Vic forth 5a and 5B for years they last for months until I go to the next pair. These I didn’t even last two songs before they started breaking. Tried shirashi oak and others but promark has officially let me down. Only millennium II series are good but NOT these. I’m still a fan of Evans heads but daddario needs to discontinue their stick line.

Bought a single pair to try them stick broke in three days and I really didn’t even play that much kind of upset I spent 18 dollars on these lol
Alyssa
i mean they were great but it broke in half after one day

It does not say anywhere that there would be a gouge on the sticks. I'm sure its a weak spot now.

Everything about these sticks are great except the rubber coating. After a year they start to get gummy and oily, generally gross feeling. So I scraped off the rubber with a utility knife and my thumbs and they’re golden.

I normally play harder rock and play with Vater's Rock drumstick, but bought these to help reduce volume as we were playing a family gig at my cousin's house over Thanksgiving weekend. After getting used to the size difference, the sticks actually felt good and played well, and did help me reduce the volume significantly. I tried hot rods last time, and just wasn't a fan.
Anyway, the reason for the 4 stars is that their durability isn't great. But...I attribute most of that to me working the bell on my ride cymbals for a few songs. Next time I'm getting nylon tips.
In the picture, while the paint was chipping away, that wasn't really a problem or issue. But if you look at the tip, it started breaking off, which can lead to damaged heads.
So if you're not bell happy, these might work out just fine for you. :)

Those sticks are Thick but NOT heavy which I like, nice design and I like the heads of them (the tops) seems to me like a good quality product which stay with me for a serious per of time and won't brake .to soon

I have tried several sticks in the past. I finally stopped looking! I highly recommend these sticks. One of the best features is the non-slip feel when grabbing sticks!

I hadn’t played drums with any practice or consistency in over 10 years, so when I randomly ended up with a fully functional, discarded Yamaha DTXpress 2 electronic kit over a month ago, I ordered these ProMarks on a whim based on the value, great reviews and cool looking black grip/finish. I love’em and highly recommend these!

Got these sticks yesterday and tried them out today, after no more than 20 minutes of playing the stick snapped on me. Terrible durability and the whole active grip thing isn’t even worth it. Not worth the money unless you’re looking for firewood.

There nice and light weight..

I ordered two of the same pair but one pair was different than the other

Amazed of the low low quality of the product upon arrival. This thing shouldnt have left the factory. Seems like it was just picked from the dumpster of the factory.

Really exists that rebound. I like it.

Huge promark fan but these sticks are very basic and I'm disappointed in how the broke only into the beginning of my second session. I'd rather just play with dips like I normally use to.

We have a band student here, who is lead drum in his class. He's been playing for 3 years now, so by no means professional but it's something he'll continue through high school. These drumsticks might be a bit of overkill for him, but they aren't much more expensive than the sticks we normally buy him through the school (that cost $8.50 a pair) that seem to get lost because they look like everyone else's. These, by having the black coating, are going to be great because he'll know at a glance which are his.
The coating is supposed to get a bit tacky when activated by heat, and the more playing you do the hotter your hands. This helps them stay in your hand. I was able to tell a subtle difference when I held them for a long period of time. I think the effect will be lost on my son but when he starts trap set this fall, perhaps it will give him an edge.
