Super easy & quick to install. I think from box to using it was less than 2 minutes. Maybe just 1 minute. It holds a charge for a long time. And, for clarity we use our computer maybe a few times a day or less and sometimes that is hours and other times less than a few minutes or maybe we don't use it for days.
When we use the computer frequently, we do have to then charge it but no big deal because you plug it in to the front of the mouse and then into you r computers USB and you keep using it. The wire does not get in the way for us when using it while charging.
It slides nice and easy on the desk and is very responsive. The action on the buttons is nice and different than a lot of computer mice I used in the past. Instead of a click this is more like a soft press click. I was surprised that I liked the way the buttons action work on a mouse, but this one is different for me.
Overall, it sits comfortably in my hand, slides smooth and easy all the time and works flawlessly thus far. I definitely recommend it.

Comfortable Ergonomic Mouse
I love this computer mouse. It’s my second one! Lol This mouse is very comfortable to use, especially if you’re used to a traditional mouse and want something more ergonomic. The vertical design feels natural once you get accustomed to it, and I like that it’s wireless so there isn’t another cable cluttering up my desk. It has a nice feel in the hand and works smoothly. Great addition to my workspace.

Comfortable for my hand
Comfortable to use. My hand rests easily with this upright position. I liked that separation between where my thumb rests and my fingers was a little further apart (than my other upright mouse)

The great things about mouse like this
This mouse if perfect.
This mouse fells right for man hands. The ergonomics regarding how it feels in the hand is great. Although, I would like to know the process of how the ergonomics was thought of because, the only issue I find is where the pinky rest. Your have your index finger and middle finger resting perfectly in the mouse left and right clicks. Even the scroll wheel while is not that rapid in speed one could have hope for, it is fine and is easy to use as well with your middle finger.
What I love about this mouse is how the DPI sits right there in between my two fingers, because I don't even need to lift the index or the middle finger to change the speed of the mouse. I can actually with the middle portion of my middle finger, change the speed by clicking the DPI button. It is funny if they thought of it like that to be used. Because it does work for me like that fine. It has a nice tracking because of that option with the DPI
It's durability it seems to be tied with the material, which it does feel incredible by being plastic it helps the hand move it with out issue. This mouse feels like it is the perfect ergonomic system to hold your hand rather than the other way around. I am glad I try these types of mouses that have this type of ergonomic convenience. Nigel and his team did a great thing with this one. I truly recommend this mouse.

Comfortable and Easy-to-Use Ergonomic Mouse
This ergonomic wireless mouse has a unique vertical design that feels comfortable and natural in the hand. I like the shape because it gives my hand a relaxed position while I’m working at my computer. The buttons are conveniently placed and easy to reach, and the wireless design helps keep my workspace clean and organized. It also has a modern look that works nicely with my desk setup. Overall, it’s a simple and practical mouse that I enjoy using for everyday computer tasks.

Good but Color Is Off
Good fit and feel, easy set up. Seems a little slow but maybe I can adjust it in my computer settings. Knocked off two stars for color, it might as well be a different colorway entirely - it is NOT pink as in the image. It is definitely more of a light lavender/lilac with orange/salmon buttons.

Really good ergonomic mouse overall, especially for long work hours. I used it for an entire workday right after getting it, and it felt comfortable the whole time. The movement is smooth and accurate, the clicks are quiet, and the texture feels nice and smooth in hand.
I also like that it connects to my iPad through Bluetooth, which makes it convenient for switching between devices. My only complaint is that you have to lift the mouse to switch between connected devices. I wish there was a button on top instead, since some other mouse designs already do that better. Other than that, it’s been a great purchase so far.

vs Logitech
I have been very surprised by this mouse!
I bought the ProtoArc in a pinch when the click buttons on my Logitech ergo mouse started malfunctioning, also thinking it could be a back up / travel mouse.
Honestly, I’ve come to prefer the ProtoArc over the Logitech.
The ProtoArc is a little wider, as such it fits my natural grip very well, I’ve had no issues utilizing it for hours at a time. I can’t use a “standard” mouse for more than 10 min before my hand starts cramping up.
Tracking has been spot on, all the buttons and wheels have held up fine after several moths of use. The buttons have a nice feel, so I know when it has clicked, but without an obnoxiously loud click noise. The ProtoArc has also held up to the occasional fall off the desk 🙈
At 1st I didn’t think I’d ever use the dedicated USB wireless radio, but I’ve come to enjoy it, makes it very easy to connect with some of the locked down devices I use. Additionally I’ve been able to connect the Bluetooth with both my MAC and PC computers without issue.
While the Logitech has more buttons and some software to configure the buttons, I can’t say I ever used them after setting it up, nor do I miss them.
After the initial full charge on the mouse, I have yet to recharge it, that is with utilizing it Monday-Friday 8+ hours a day for work, and here and there after work and weekends. I was initially thinking it’d get maybe a week at a time, similar to other value mice, but I’m overly impressed that it’s conserving power so well!
The only thing I wish it had was the ability to freewheel the scroll wheel, I can’t fault it, I think it’s been over a decade since I’ve seen a mouse with that option.
Give the price of the ProtoArc vs the Logitech, I’ll be buying several more of the ProtoArc.

It’s cheaper than medical bills
Work gave me free rein to buy a mouse. I could’ve gone with much more expensive options. I asked for this one.
I’m a digital artist and repeat motion injuries are a huge concern. The shape holds your hand up in a way that’s much more natural. I cannot go back to normal mouse controls. This is just so much more comfortable.
The mouse is responsive and durable and feels high-quality. The charge seems to last a good while. I’d just plug it in every once in awhile when you’re not going to use the computer.
The matching protoarc mousepad adds to this to make things just so much less painful than they were.
I’m 5’5”, I have smaller hands. If you have big meaty claws because you are a Large Man of Great Heights you might want a bigger mouse. If you are an Average Size Man if Normal Height it might be alright. I am a Woman of Average Height and this is the perfect mouse grip size for me. Keep that in mind when ordering - there’s much bigger types of this sort of mouse out there if you know you have big hands.

BEST MOUSE EVERRR
I’ve only had this product for two days & i absolutely love it! The set up is very easy & it’s user friendly. The instructions are simple & easy to follow. I charged the battery before use & had not had to charge it since (I work from home). It’s very comfortable. The material is great & extremely smooth! No loud clicking noises. The scroll wheel is okay but everything else makes up for it, in my opinion.
I definitely experienced a learning curve but I wish I would have bought this sooner & not wasted my money on other mouses that stopped working within the first month.
My laptop’s USB port is faulty. This mouse can connect solely on Bluetooth & the issue is gone! The pairing was extremely easy. As soon as I turned it on & changed the mouse to Bluetooth mode, my computer instantly recognized it. I have not experienced any connectivity issues yet (will update if anything changes).
I have small hands & find it fits well in my hand. Again, I am just learning how to use this type of mouse so it does take a couple adjustments at first. After about 30 minutes, it becomes easier, at least for me.
It is so affordable & the quality is amazing. I do not see myself buying any other mouse. Overall, don’t think about it, just buy it. Thanks Nigel for making such an amazing product!

Surprisingly Comfortable and Versatile — Budget Ergonomics Done Right
This ProtoArc EM11 NL is one of those “low cost, high impact” upgrades—especially if you’re grinding long hours at a desk. It’s not flashy, but it quietly fixes one of the biggest problems in modern work: wrist fatigue.
The vertical design is the star here. It puts your hand in a more natural handshake position, which genuinely reduces strain compared to a traditional flat mouse. The built-in wrist rest helps support your palm, making it easier to stay comfortable during long sessions.
Connectivity is another win. You can bounce between multiple devices (Bluetooth + USB) without constantly re-pairing, which is clutch if you’re running a laptop + desktop + tablet setup. It just makes your workflow smoother.
Performance is solid for everyday use. Adjustable DPI (1000/1600/2400) gives you enough control for productivity, browsing, and even light design work. It’s not a precision gaming mouse—but that’s not what it’s built for.
Battery life holds up well, and being rechargeable means no constant battery swaps—small thing, big quality-of-life upgrade.
Now, keeping it real:
• It’s a budget mouse, so the buttons feel a bit basic
• Takes a few days to get used to if you’ve never used vertical mice
• Might feel large if you’ve got smaller hands
But once you adjust, it’s hard to go back.
Bottom line:
If you want a cheap, effective way to improve ergonomics and reduce wrist strain, this is a no-brainer. It’s not luxury—but it’s practical, comfortable, and gets the job done without overcomplicating your setup.

Best vertical ergonomic mouse for the price.
The design is unique with its arc shape and distinct palm grip with vibrant orange buttons.
———————————————
Size & weight is approximately:
Height: 2.68 in (68.1 mm)
Width: 2.72 in (69.2 mm)
Depth: 5.43 in (138 mm)
It weighs about 3.9 oz (112 g)
———————————————
🖱️The arc design makes your grip a little bit wider than a typical ergonomic style mouse. When you grip the mouse for use, the distance between your index finger and your thumb is about 2 inches, compared to 1.25 inches in a typical vertical ergonomic mouse. Think of it as if you’re pinching a used ream of printing paper as oppose to pinching a half used one.
Functionality is great.
👨💻🖥️Although I mainly use this mouse for non-gaming purposes, I have not noticed any lag when I do game. There are 3 DPI settings: 1000, 1600, and 2400, which is typical and common for optical mouse.
🛜I connect my mouse via bluetooth with the USB receiver it comes with, connected to a USB 3.0 HUB.
This is especially useful for users like myself who have had this issue with other mice (including brand names like Logitech)
🔋Battery life is excellent. The mouse can be charged via a USB-C charging wire.
🚩The only negative thing that I have noticed when using this mouse is, if you use the scroll wheel a lot, you will likely accidentally click the third mouse button (pressing down on the scroll wheel).
TLDR:
The best bang for your buck ergonomic mouse with a unique design that feels great in your palm.

Best Bluetooth Handshake Mouse for the price - beware of Medium to larger hands though!
Purchased this as my Logitech MX Veritcal has been giving me issues with the click not working intermittently and I don't want to spend another $85+ on that brand to just have it die again. So enter the ProtoArc Ergonomic Mouse!
I found this mouse to be comfortable, soft to the touch and I liked the pop of color on the buttons. The buttons are soft click which I find a bit weird since its quiet and not quite as decisive as I'm used to but it is very responsive. It charges easily and has the option for the USB Dongle which stows away underneath but bluetooth works great as well. It is compatible with Mac although i'd also recommend using the Mac Mouse Fix app to upgrade the functionality of the mouse and bring it more in line with Logitech's offerings.
In the description it says not really suitable for large hands and I find this to be true. I would say my hands fall on even more of the Medium segment and this isn't as comfy as the logitech one. The left click button is beveled so it doesn't feel flat under your finger, making it feel like you're clicking on an edge which takes some time getting used to.(pictured for reference) Also the palm rest is sculpted and goes further back than the MX Vertical making it a bit weird for my palm to feel like its resting on it. (also included photo size comparison)
I wish they made a supersized version of this and removed a bit of that extra plastic on the back so the edge of my hand could simply rest on my mousepad.

The most ergonomical mouse i've had ever! Very comfortable to use!
The mouse is very ergonomical to use, very convenient and comfortable. The connectivity is pretty good and fast via the USB port. Scrolling speed is pretty fast and you can set it up to your convenience in DPI. Its a great purchase for the money, very well spent. Battery life is superb, it can last a whole year easily.

Comfortable & Competent Ergonomic Vertical Mouse
This is the second vertical mouse I've owned. It replaces my previous model whose left click button was getting overactive for some reason. Anyway, I like the hand feel of my previous mouse just a little better, but they are very similar, and this one is growing on me. The only slight niggle I can find is that the ProtoArc feels like the grip is slightly slicker but it hasn't affected functionality in any way. Buttons are responsive and well-placed and mechanical function is good also. It is silent and does what it is supposed to do with no fuss or muss. It's easy to charge but I can't tell you how long it lasts at this point. This ergonomic mouse fits my medium sized hand well. I think it would be hard to beat at the current price point.

Best Ergonomic Mouse Hands Down !!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:
I’ve tried 5 different mouse shapes and this is the Winner! Omg I’m OBSESSED!! Guys the design of this mouse is incredible!!! My hand has never felt so much relief!!!
Details:
- The material allows amazing grip which I didn’t even know I needed.
- The color is a perfect compliment to my keyboard lights and overall setup.
- This allows your hand position to be in its natural gripping state like the “pinching” position. Most mouse’s force your hand to turn into a more “palm down position” which is where that strain comes from for me.
- It allows you to use the usb and 2 Bluetooth connections so you can connect to several devices simultaneously.
I’ll try to remember to update this if I have any other comments but so far I’m a fan for life.

My wrist is so much happier now!
My husband bought this for me a few days ago and it’s already made a huge difference. I use a MacBook Pro every day for work (usually without a mouse), and I’d been dealing with wrist and palm pain from constantly lifting and twisting my hands in weird positions.
This mouse keeps my wrist in a neutral, supported position and feels way more comfortable overall. It’s rechargeable, has bluetooth compatibility, works on basically any surface, and the clicks are smooth and quiet. I didn’t expect to love it this much.
It’s a little awkward in shape, so I might buy a carrying case but I’d rather carry an extra item in my bag than deal with wrist pain. If you work from home or in coffee shops, this is 100% worth it!

Made a tremendous difference
As I stated in the video, I am left handed so I wouldn’t definitely recommend this for lefties as I am having adjustment issues, nevertheless this is an awesome mouse. It makes a huge difference having an ergonomic mouse even though I wear wrist splints when typing. The ability to navigate is getting better for me with practice, however for the right handed people I don’t believe you will have any issues with ease of use as the buttons are positioned accurately and there is great precision with movement etc. I did charge it when it first arrived although the instructions states when the battery is low it will begin to flash red however it didn’t take long for it to fully charge. Overall I absolutely love this mouse and and declaring it as a total winner.

High end all around
6 stars. I never thought I needed a special mouse, but my husband got me one to try, and I’m impressed. The thoughtful design (especially the storage for the wireless receiver packaging on the bottom of the mouse so that it won’t easily get misplaced), and instructions are all high quality. Using this mouse is definitely a sweet upgrade! It took just 30 seconds to set up, and I’m getting used to squeezing my thumb and index finger together for a left click since there’s no table for counterweight in this vertical position.
