Poor quality item
Have only had for two and a half months, and the wire is already separately from unit and ready to fall off! Terrible quality. Very disappointed!!

Portable AM/FM radio
This radio is certainly portable. It is very light and compact. The supplied earphones have a decent sound quality, and act as the antenna for FM reception. As is typical with an AM radio, the orientation of the radio itself will determine AM reception, which is fine when you are staying relatively still, but drops off rapidly when the alignment moves, ie when you are walking. The auto station search works really well. When using this, the memory hit nearly 40 different stations in both FM and AM. Impressive. There is no station ID shown, just the memory location and the frequency.

Needs 2 AAA batteries, not included
We live 50 miles from town and this little radio has no problem picking up stations. The sound is good. The headphones are very good. You can set the radio on sleep mode from 90 minutes on down. It has AM and FM. Comes with Easy to read directions on how to Use different functions. Comes with a long lanyard you can wear around your neck.

Functional FM Radio
Says AM/FM, but I couldn't seem to get AM signal (even though other radios work in the house). FM worked just fine. Easy to use and convenient to have a simple portable radio. Good size and easy to use, this does the job (again FM only for me).

Handy Little Pocket Radio
This is a nice sized small pocket radio with simple buttons, ability to save stations, a wide range of volume levels (though wish it had a volume lock for using with younger kids to set max volume), and a nice big screen to see the radio channel. Easy one button power turns it on and off and you can lock it so it doesn't turn off or on when bumped in your pocket. The earbuds that come with it are ok, sound is a little tinny, but other than that, it seems ok. It uses 2 AAA batteries and the battery life seemed average for what you would expect for use. Happy with the purchase, just wish sound quality was a little better through provided earbuds.
