Quality made/You can't beat the quality for the price
Wasn't sure what to expect for the price but these speakers are extremely well made. The items were shipped very quickly packaging was good nothing was damaged
So far plastic on all items including the crossovers is very heavy duty windings look good The cones are good heavy rubber not the cheap foam.
I can't wait to get them all hooked up and give them a testing.
The yellow is a little bit bright for my taste but it's one way to set themselves apart from some of the expensive yet underperforming competitors.

great 2-way speaker setup, without hassle of building crossovers
Fun speakers with prebuilt crossovers. I wanted to make a portable boombox from an old powertool case. The yellow speaker cones and graphics matched my design perfectly. Paired with a small rechargable battery pack and an inexpensive 15Wx2 channel amp + bluetooth board and this thing makes for fun, portable sound. The speakers are sensitive enough that the box gets pretty loud. Not "audiophile" but great punchy bass, clear (and positionable) tweeters. I use the EQ in my music player to turn the mids down a bit. I will definitely consider these for my next boombox build.

So, I am one that relies pretty heavily on what reviews say about a product. However, I also know that not everyone has the same experience or expectations when diving into car stereo. I initially thought that there was no way these speakers would be any good because they are priced so low. I do realize that there are a multitude of other manufacturers that make component speakers that would absolutely abliterate these speakers.... at a much higher cost!!!
My 19 year old son wanted stereo equipment for his vehicle for Christmas. With what he acquired in gift cards and Santa Dad going a bit overboard we were able to replace all the factory stereo components. These speakers have a nice crisp high end from the tweeter and a pretty impressive mid bass from the woofer. We opted NOT to use an external amp to power these speakers and instead are relying on the output of the new stereo we purchased. If he chooses to amplify these speakers later, I know they will probably exceed my expectations even further. However, the amount of power coming from these things just off the stereo alone definitely gets your attention!!
I would buy these speakers again, NO QUESTION! If I can save some money on my mids and highs and still get that clean crisp sound that I'm looking for,I'll do it and pass the savings on to my choice of subwoofers and amplifier to really get the truck booming!!

The product details state these speakers have "special electroplated steel baskets". LOL!!! that is some special steel alright??? mine have plastic baskets. Took it up the old dirt road. OUCH! wondering now what else is false, I guess I will install them and find out. Are these even real? Even says in the description on the box "Yellow coated steel baskets"

You get what you pay for....
Learned my lesson on being cheap with these speakers. The tweeter sizes need to have more specs. I have a 2007 Tacoma and the 13 year old speakers sound much better... If you want a lesson or your speakers are busted it would be worth the small price for this huge package, but this is not an upgrade.
I am not your typical “bad-review” only guy, either.

Well three out of four Pyle speakers worked. One speaker was bad. I did order another pair of Pyle speakers. Give them one more chance. So far the other speakers sound good.

I started off wanting a cheap set of speakers for my daily and found these for the same price. I wanted to see how loud and clean I could make my daily driver at the lowest price possible (within reason). the quality of the install and matching parts is what makes all the difference. As you can see I went a step beyond most adding a 4ch. Amp and soundproofing my doors. This WILL make all the difference.
Anyway, Absolutely great product! I've been impressed by pyle before. So I gave them a shot this time around for my daily driver. I went in not expecting much. But for $35 I was willing to try them out. I love it. It's not a huge power house but man what a jump in clarity and quality of sound. I succeeded in making the car sound very nice.
DO NOT hook this up to your stereo output and expect great things. It will function and be loud but it will easily distort and will lack the punch it should have. I matched this kit with a cheap pyle 4ch. Amp and I love every aspect of it. It gives that added power to really make these sound good.
Was also expecting to need speaker grills as none were pictured. However the kit DOES come with them.
5 stars for price vs performance. Let's see how long they last. Will update.

Work great. I am driving these with a Kenwood radio and separate 60 w amp. The only thing I changed was the wire. Very light gauge was supplied and not suitable for the power I am using. Good value.

Another example of a product offered for sale that is barely usable as it comes, Pyle should not sell this as-is.
Mid-woofers seem fine, crossovers seem fine, tweeters themselves are likely fine but the 'housings' for tweeters are nearly worthless which lowers the quality of the entire system to near zero.
Advertised and pictured as being able to surface mount, yet the surface mount format pictured in the Manual/Install Guide isn't included.
The only option is to flush mount as it comes.
One of my two flush mount trim rings was cracked right out of the box, certainly suggests that the other will crack as well if I try to use it.
The housing relies on the tension created by the trim ring being snapped over the back part, since it is cracked it can't apply tension, the assembly will not stay together.
Install Guide states that the flush mount format is installed into a 45mm hole (1 3/4"), yet the part of the trim ring that fits into the hole measures 52mm (2"), you'd need a pretty good sized hammer to make something 2" in diameter fit into a 1 3/4" hole.
That's what I have for you, a warning to not purchase this item because the manufacturer doesn't care if it works or not, they just want you to buy it.
My message to Pyle is, you should be ashamed to have your name on this.

UPDATE-They sound really good,they don't have mid bass,probably because I need to deaden my doors but the mids and highs are smooth not harsh like some other speakers i heard,I wish the crossover could be a little bit better like better options instead of just hooking them up.

Good sound for paying under 40$
To start off, let me just say that I did not buy these to put in my car. I blew out some really nice Sony shelf speakers and didn't want to spend much money replacing them. So I figured some cheap car component speakers would do the trick just fine. I read the reviews here and these seemed pretty decent so I just went for it and ordered them.
With the free shipping it arrived at my house in 5 days. Well packaged and everything.
Opening up the box, I see everything as expected, plus a ton of extra speaker wires and caged covers for the woofers.
As for installation, the woofers fit almost perfectly back into the slot where the 6.5" sony woofers were. I will submit my own photo so everyone can see. The tweeters came with sticky pads so that they can be placed almost anywhere.
Now let's move onto the important subject; sound and quality.
Many people have complained about build quality. As far as I've seen, the woofers are very sturdy and pretty strong. The woofer itself flexes well and the material is strong. The tweeter on the other hand is not as good. The plastic does feel cheap and wiring is thin but it does work. I've also read that the sound of the tweeter sounds like noise made by foil. After installing the woofers and tweeters, I was not impressed by the sound at all that the tweeters gave off, but after playing the speakers at high volumes for a few hours, the tweeters began sounding more normal and had better quality. And after a few days, the tweeters lost any of the disgusting foil sound.
Moving on to the woofer, the quality itself was very good considering I payed less than 40$ for it all. The box that I put the speakers in are very solid and ported. The bass response given by the woofers are strong and the speakers can handle a good amount of power. The bass though has no low end, I'd say they don't reproduce anything below 100Hz, which isn't bad. The bass is there, it's just not very deep. Other than that, the woofer sounds good and the crossover does a good job of managing the signal between the woofers and tweeters.
Overall for the price, I'm really impressed with what I was given. After reading many reviews, I expected that the tweeters would be broken, or that the woofers would feel like paper, but no, the overall quality and sound is great for the price.
