Make sure the instructions match the device because mine didn't
This is an initial review. The instructions are wrong. The rechargeable battery in the manual do not match the battery I have.
Note instructions vs actual PMP561LTB rechargeable I have. I figured it out for myself but a lot of people wouldn't be able to. You don't say where to put the USB cord that it's safe just to tuck it into the cavity of the device where you slide the battery into.

not as advertised
Package says PMP561LTB “with built-in rechargeable battery.” It came with a Rechargeable battery pack—not built-in—and no socket to plug the pack into.

Poor labeling and overall underwhelming
Bought for an event i had today where a loudspeaker was needed, unsurprisingly usps was a bit slow to deliver it so had little time to prepare. Read the description to make sure it was what i needed before ordering it. Loved that it has a battery pack or could be powered by smaller batteries. Broke it out and didnt have a lot of time to charge the main battery pack before it was needed so went to go get the batteries for the secondary power to make do while the main pack charged. The box clearly shows it took 8 "D batteries" so someone was sent into town to grab some. When they returned we found they were far to large to fit and verified the box claimed it used "size D". Yet however the instruction manual showed "C" batteries. Due to being out of time we had to use what little power we had from the charge of the main battery. While it was fairly loud it fell under my expectations considering it was listed to be a bit louder then some of their other models. Insteuctions also really could have been more clear about operations, almsot seem like whoever typef it up didnt even bother covering everything to operate.
Big thing for me was the mismatched labeling , how does listing 2 different batteries i. 2 different spots slip through quality control. Whoever was in charge of the labeling, needs some serious retraining. Their mistake of listing 2 different batteries costs me time and extra money i didnt need to spend. At least it will be usuable next time its needed but the main event i bought it for It was practically useless

One of my most fun purchases
I bought this to deive around and troll people, and it works *lol* The sound from the is very loud and clear, you dont have to turn it up very far unless you are in a wide open area. The battery lasts for at least 9 hrs. Its made solid and looks just like the pictures. Its easy to use and it works as described. Whats not to like?

Works great! The battery format can be confusing
Great value. It can take either 8 C size batts or the included battery pack which is a different form factor. Watch the video for the how-to. Very loud, excellent audio volume.

This horn is a dream!
Absolutely perfect and you can't beat the price. I purchased it for a company picnic carnival theme and it was 100% solid. The rechargeable battery 🔋 👌 perfect! And an LED light?! And it records 10 seconds and playback. It also has a sleeve for regular batteries incase you need to use those. 😉 The ONLY thing I would change is a longer shoulder strap. That's easy enough.
Total score!

CONFUSING
There’s no instructions with this product, and it’s actually not as easy as you’d think.
1. The rechargeable battery slides in once you pull the disposable battery cartridge out
2. The USB doesn’t appear to plug into anything on the megaphone. I found a USB port by PEELING THE SILVER STICKER AWAY, but the USB port is blank. Just a hole.
3. I happened to try tucking the cord into the battery chamber in the space beside it. Plugged into nothing. I closed it. IT WORKED.
Now it works fine but wow, there’s a few misleading details.

I think it’s broken
The bottom of the box was slightly damaged but the item inside was severely damaged.

BUYERS BEWARE! THEY MAKE YOU PAY TO RETURN!
The megaphone required batteries that were not included, and it could not accept the rechargeable battery that was included. I bought it for the rechargeable battery. I would've kept it but again, I paid this much for the rechargeable battery. And to return it, I had to pay an additional $3 for the label at the UPS store, or just print it out myself, but still. Other returns are easy. This one should've been easier.

Terrible Packaging
The megaphone seems to work ok however, the packaging was horrible. They shipped it in a plastic bag and not a box. The box was beat up and had holes in it.

Nice and loud and worked in the rain!
The volume control works well and it's pretty loud the whole way up. Very pleased with the battery life, it lasted about 2 1/2 hours with pretty heavy use. It was raining and wet and it still worked well.

Mine was Previously opened... or damaged
The box is shipped in was fine but the mega phone box was obviously opened prior to my purchase which is unsettling... especially since I bought a NEW megaphone and not a used one... or so I thought.
